We went on a Thursday and it was surprisingly busy! Since it was late, I opted out of the chai martini, but I'm definitely getting that next time. The sauce that came with the fish was incredible - I kept dipping my naan into it. I just wish it was a bit more for the price. The chicken tikka wasn't bad either. So I really like this place and this time I decided to get a main dish . I was sorta disappointed . The Asian Indian noodles were seasoned but I felt 24 bucks was steep for noodles and veggies . I really enjoyed the samosa and the potatoes . I wish there was more options for pescatarians and vegans . I'll be back for chai and samosas. Service wasn't the best as we weren't really checked on compared to other tables. We ordered the dosa and chicken tikka masala pyaaz which took 25-30 minutes to come out when there were only 4 tables. It also took a while for us to be seated despite there being employees in the restaurant standing there and talking. (This was 1pm on a Sunday). I was surprised to find the potatoes in the dosa being unflavored. Chicken Tikka was fine, not the best I have ever had. This is my second visit . I purchased food and drinks. This place has an excellent barista service with delicious tasty and unique drinks. They are super healthy and natural. I had a cardamom latte the first time there. I had saffron type coffee today a lemonade and chicken biryani. We checked out the newly upgraded menu at Inday Brooklyn this Friday and it is for sure an easy Friday dinner recommendation. We started with drinks and went for the Chai Martini and Bombay Mule--both were well-crafted, balanced, and absolutely worth being our "one drink a month" rule drinks. If you're into creative cocktails with a South Asian twist, these are must-tries. For apps, we tried the Tandoori Eggplant Stracciatella (7/10) and Naan con Tomate (8/10). Both were flavorful, leaned into the fusion vibe, and came with warm garlic naan that tied everything together nicely. For mains, we went the sandwich route. The Butter Chicken Parm was a standout (9/10)--rich and satisfying, though the sauce on the side was a bit salty for my taste. The cauliflower was perfectly cooked with great flavor & a hint of spicy. the kale salad had so many different flavors and textures that really made it super special- the mango dressing with the avocados + crunch of cucumbers was super refreshing and had really high quality ingredients. i definitely want to come back to try the chicken curries but from the dishes we did try everything was a hit and the kale salad is a no skip item! service was good and the space is really nicely decorated and good music! will absolutely be back! read more

The menu is very diverse as there is a variety of options that you can choose from. I like that they have chai drinks because that is very Indian and you can just stop in for a hot or iced one if you wanted it without dining. my lamb burger was well prepared and well seasoned, and the portion size was perfect. the fries I cannot remember what they sprinkle on it, but they were really good and I wanted to be greedy and order another portion, but I had control lol. Sometime last year, Inday revamped their menu and space and transformed their fast casual concept into a full service restaurant. They went from serving healthy bowls with Indian inspired flavors and ingredients at their Manhattan locations, to opening this sit down restaurant with many of the Indian comfort dishes many of us know and love like tikka masala and biryani. To my untrained palate, everything here was delicious, and the prices are low enough you won't bat an eye at coming here for a casual dinner on the regular. I really like what they did with their space, which is large enough that it spans multiple rooms. I heard from one of their managers they have a lot of ideas for the space that include private events. There's definitely room for even a DJ and mingling area if they wanted. At least for now, they have it set up so that the seats are really spread out and you aren't seated on top of one another, somewhat of a rarity in NY. Wait, you're telling me you're not trying to optimize every inch of space? Sick. As for the food, I absolutely loved the samosa chaat, which had pomegranate to offer bursts of fruit juice to complement the crispiness of the samosa. Chaat might be the best Indian dish? The biryani and tikka masala had so much flavor and I especially like that they charge just $13-$15 per dish-- a steal! I see that they have a full bar so you can even get mezcal margaritas but I have only tried a few alcohol-free drinks and they hit the spot. I hope they get more business so they can stick around, we need more affordable spots like this in Brooklyn! read more

The space is airy and comfortable, great for our large group brunch. Their cuisine is more Indian and American fusion than traditional Indian, but tastes very refreshing and yummy. I was contacted by the owner who kindly informed me of the mistake and told me to definitely try the chai soft serve. So this is for the correct business. The thing I love about New York is that you can walk out your door and have no plan, but trip upon all sorts of culinary and cultural adventures. I had already had some amazing pizza at Frank Pinello's "Best Pizza" and was on my way to Domino Park when I passed this spot with a "happy hour" sign out. So I stopped! Since I had eaten earlier, I mainly focused on cocktails. Sunny Leone seems to be the staff favorite. Made with vanilla-infused vodka, passion fruit, and lime Prosecco, it was refreshing and velvety, and the vanilla wasn't overpowering (which was my primary concern). The capital nashpati, made with jin jiji gin, homemade lavender syrup, lemon juice, and coconut, it was a little more tart and clean, yet refreshing. And I finished with the hibiscus mezcal margarita, made with mezcal, homemade hibiscus syrup, pineapple, and masala honey. A beautiful shade of purple, and not too sweet, it was a nice closer. I also couldn't resist the sweet chili cauliflower, which was light, deliciously spicy (it really did have a nice kick), with a hint of coconut. They also have small plates (samosas, eggplant dip, flatbread, wings). They have salads and bowls as well as Indian fusion smash burgers, butter chicken parm, and the Bombay hot honey chicken sandwich. They have a masala dosa as well, but I'm sorry, my heart will always belong to Thiru, the amazing man behind NY Dosas in Washington Square Park. They also have tandoori kebabs, curries, breads, sides, and desserts. Service was great. Super attentive and welcoming. The menu change is annoying. And quality control has left the building. I've had good experiences with delivery and also in person. There was an incredible paneer salad they took off the menu. And changed 60 percent of their menu. This made me skeptical to order. And I was right. The new $16 kale salad was delivered without salad dressing. Fine. But it was beyond bland. Always walked by this place in Williamsburg and decided to stop in on a Saturday afternoon-was not too terribly busy and was able to get seated. The chicken tikka masala was soooo good, I will say that the side of rice was a little bit small for my liking as I wish there were more but the garlic naan made up for it. The service was a bit slow which was surprising since there weren't too many people there. I also didn't really like the hot chai cocktail I got as the top layer disconnected me from the drink with how cold it was. The most perfect lunch! After getting my nails done, I wanted a refreshing salad but also wanted to try something new. Sweetgreen is my go to which is just up the block but instead I tried INDAY All Day and I'm so happy I did. I got the kale crispy salad and my friend god the salmon bowl. My salad consisted of shredded kale, cabbage, crispy rice, avocado, mango vinaigrette and I topped it with salmon. My friends bowl was rice, marinated kale, sautéed mushrooms, & salmon. I'm not drinking right now so I went with the sparkling hibiscus lemonade and it was absolutely delicious and refreshing! Came here thrice in two days. First, my friend and I came here for lunch. We ordered the golden chicken curry and the saag paneer. It was SO delicious. Then we ordered the oat milk chai soft serve on their menu. I think we both expected it to be light in flavor, just a hint of chai; on the contrary, each spoonful was packed with chai flavor. We talked up the place so much to our friends who were still en route to Williamsburg that when they arrived, we went back to Inday for more. It's an open and airy corner spot in Williamsburg. We started with a Spicy Margarita (that was spicy! ) and a Khubani Peg which was a serious and strong whiskey based drink . My friend also got a Stella Artois beer and my 2nd cocktail was the delicious pear and gin and cardamom drink - Capital Nashpati. Get that one . Drinks are $10 each at HH . Great deal . For food we started with the Chili Cauliflower which has an absolutely delicious sauce (but wasn't soft , so I needed a knife to cut it . ) Next time I'd try the Samosa . For mains we got the Blackened Salmon Tandoori Platter which comes with saffron rice , salad and a delicious Daal that I would have liked more of. My friend got a Golden Chicken Curry and really liked that . Naan is good. Try the Zaatar Naan which has an herbal flavor on top . Staff are nice and it wasn't too crowded. Good drinks and food and prices . Recommended. If I have any criticism I would say that the Salmon and the chicken were just a little dry but still pretty good . Definitely one of my favorite places to grab an affordable lunch or dinner. They have ample seating, a vegetarian friendly menu, and friendly service. I've even brought my laptop there to get some work done & they had no problems with it (they have wifi). The naan is a must, my favorite is the zaatar option. The tandoori chicken was seasoned very well and the portion was massive so i took half home. We also got a garlic naan, which we ordered later once the food came out. It took a while for it to come out and even though we hadn't said anything, our server apologized for the wait and took it off our bill for our inconvenience. The brunch options at Inday have diminished. I went a few months ago and they had a lamb kheema and a banana roti (similar to a banana crepe). I went again today and did not see either of these options on the menu. The dosa was still there and it was still good. Also had a scramble which was good but pretty small portion and nothing extraordinary. I'm very disappointed with the lack of options (only 4 brunch options) so I probably won't be back for brunch. Service has definitely improved from the first time I went and I like that you no longer have to order at the bar. Pretty easy to get a table on a Sunday afternoon. Not super crowded or loud. I've been here for dinner once. The food was good but nothing amazing. Just normal Indian food that's slightly modern. I'll have to try it again sometime read more

I've eaten here at least a half dozen times and always enjoyed their food. Unfortunately, management thought it a great idea to invite a couple influencers to film their videos in midst of dinner time so I had to endure 45 minutes of bright flashlights from the video-celeb-wannabes as they filmed their episode. I shoot video for a living. Promo videos like that are best done off hours when you're not disturbing patrons. Two ladies who sat next to me asked to move their table because of the obnoxious light. Clearly management is more interested in thinking they're "cool" amongst influencers rather than catering to their regular patrons, and they just lost one of their regulars. PS... the bartender who tried to help with my grievance was top notch. Great attitude and valiant effort. Too bad he's working under such poor management. read more

Overall, I really enjoyed the food and I'll definitely be back. Ambiance / Service: restaurant is decorated nicely, but has a very low key cozy neighborhood feel to it which I like. There's also a super long table so could be good if you have a larger group. Service was slow - one of our dishes also never came out. But the servers were really nice and I chalk it up to growing pains, so we didn't mind. Food: all the food was delicious. The prices are incredibly reasonable - I was kind of shocked. The portions aren't large, but it was perfect for doing family style amongst three. Anymore than 3-4 and you would need to order doubles of the same dish. I ordered a lot and liked everything: -Garlic House Naan -Masala Dosa -Masala Fries -Crispy Rice Salad: this was actually a stand out. I've ordered lunch from here quite a few times but finally stopped by for dinner, they give free popcorn which was really well spiced and great, I also tried the lamb smash burger and it was EXCELLENT and so was the cheesy naan bread. This restaurant probably has the best interiors in all of Brooklyn! The communal table with the tigers and the bathroom (with cricket commentary playing over radio) stand out in particular. The staff were also friendly when we visited on a Saturday morning (we were surprised that it wasn't packed during brunch time but that's probably because it's new?) As far as the food is considered, the Akhuri (Parsi-inspired scrambled eggs from Bombay) really hit the spot and had the perfect amount of masala mixed in. I've had lunch at all of the order up eateries in the areas and this one has to be by far the worst.
