I feel it's important to report a disturbing experience that I recently had at Spirals Consignment…read morein Pacific Grove. I brought a clothing/shoe consignment in to Spiirals which included 2 beautiful high end leather jackets, both in excellent condition. In the past, within a day or two, I would receive a list of the items received by the shop. After a week I did not receive a list so I stopped by to ask and was told by Abby, the manager, that they were low on staff and volunteers and therefore, no list. I went to the back room and saw that all of my conslgned clothes were hanging on a rack there. I waited another week and returned to the store to find that my clothes were still in the back room but about to be put out on the floor. When I returned the following week I found that some of my clothes were out on the floor but no leather jackets. I asked if they were sold and I was told that they had to check to see where they were. They did not get back to me so I, again, returned to the store and was told the jackets could no be found, probably due to theft. Both jackets disappeared. Spirals accepts no responsibilty for theft or damage. Needless to say this was a very frustrating, disappointing and unpleasant experience. Potential consignors beware.

They have a tag system where some things are 20% off all the way down to $1.50 and I managed to score quite a few few things at the dollar 50 price including some new tags Eileen Fisher pieces! This is a great cause as well as a cute store with really nice people. The Larger store which is farther down towards Pacific Grove has lots of housewares as well. The smaller store which is just up the block from the Goodwill is more boutique awesome place to go Do Not not miss this on your Thrift trip to Monterey.

There was this fun lady who was waving a wand of bubbles and ask perrmission to draw, and the moment she said yes..I immediatly bend down on my knees and draw the first thing on my mind.. MERMAID ARIEL. THen when that was done.. I had more spare time so I drew GENIE JASMINE once i finished i manage to get up and began to browse the furniture.. The staff already placed their things inside but let me allowed to draw some more. They were very kindful and enjoyed the image i did. They do have some nice things like tvs and tables and such but mom loves to shop there taking her sweet time as we travel very very far just to be here ( and a few stores we love to go to). Thank you so much for letting me draw the side walk. I love disney but these two gave me happyness and joy. This made my day as I couldn't go to Comic con this year and felt heartbroken v_v...but that sidewalk drawing made my day for the better! The staff at this location are HORRIBLE. They expect you to LOOK like you can afford to shop in…read moretheir store! No casual clothing allowed. My sister and I went shopping at this location. Their cashier counter had wooden boards on the corner, which were unattached! The entire corner section fell off and onto my foot. I am already disabled and it IMMEDIATELY cause SEVERE pain! The first response from the employee was to ask my sister, "what did you do?!" NO ONE bothered to check on the clearly injured person. I ended up outside the store, sitting on the cement step because I could not put weight on my foot. I had to remove both my shoe and sock, due to swelling and PAIN. I am now waiting on an X-ray to make sure no bones were broken. The response from the staff, was to treat us as if we were dirt, unworthy of DARING to shop at their "high end" store. One woman, later identified as the manager, approached where I sat outside, saw my uncovered and injured foot, and exclaimed, "ooh, you. REALLY Are hurt." It took ANOTHER store's manager, across the walkway, to go and FIND the manager and get someone to even ACKNOWLEDGE the problem with THEIR faulty counter. Due to my injury at this store, our holiday shopping came to an end. Had the staff even bothered to apologize, this review would not be here!
