I told her they killed my betta and infected the other one and she goes "oh I'm really sorry about that". I mean, to some they might just be "a fish" but these are my pets and it really hurt me to lose my girl the way that I did. She suffered having her face basically rotting off from columnaris and there was nothing I could do to help her. It killed her so fast. And I just got a "sorry". Does PetSmart not quarantine new fish to make sure they aren't sick before selling them to the public? THEY KILLED MY BETTA WHO WAS THRIVING before I put those tetras in there. I'm so mad at myself for buying fish there. I should have known better.

Within hours of having her, I noticed alarming signs: not eating properly, nervous bouncing, and peeing herself when being touched . After doing my research and reaching out for advice, it became clear that she had not been properly cared for before being sold. It's obvious Petco does not prioritize the well-being of these animals. Tortoises require very specific care, diet, and habitat conditions to survive and thrive. Selling them without ensuring they are healthy and properly cared for is unacceptable and shows a lack of responsibility toward both the animals and the customers who trust them. I am heartbroken to see the condition my tortoise is in and deeply regret trusting Petco with such an important purchase. Small animals deserve proper care and attention, not to be treated like products on a shelf. I hope Petco seriously reconsiders how they handle reptiles and makes immediate changes to ensure no other customer or animal has to go through this. Rafa sold me this tortoise and she needs to be investigated for the care of these animals because she is not doing a good job obviously just from the condition my tortoise was in when i got her august 15th and now my tortoise is dead because of her.

I closed my account when I asked for the charge to be waived .... there is a small blurb on the back of the bill that says it must be paid by 5 pm ... but its not on the late notice on the front of the bill ... this is very sketchy and they are able to garner money when people pay on time but not before 5 pm ... I will NEVER do business with them EVER!!

I've been taking Luna to petsmart for grooming for 6 years. There's been some less than ideal experiences (they forget to wash her face or trim her nails). Today was new. Her appointment was at 10:30. Now typically, it takes them anywhere from 1 minimum to 2 hours max. Today, they held my dog hostage for 5 HOURS. Since I know a simple bath & nail trim doesn't take this long, I know they had her locked in one of their metal cages for at least 3 hours but likely more. I genuinely hate every single one of y'all and I hope random hardship finds you. Do not bring your dog here for grooming unless you want them to be miserable and locked in a dog jail cell for hours with no food or water. 5 hours for a bath is insane.

They only acknowledged their regulars. By the time the lady FINALLY asked us what we needed, she couldn't even answer our questions because she kept stopping to talk to her regulars. Really made us feel unwelcome and like we were interrupting her social time. Additionally, we pointed out one tank where one of the fish was being incessantly bullied and another tank with a dead fish, and all she goes is "hmm yep looks like it" and then walks back to the front and continues talking to her regulars. Absolutely no help and her lack of concern for the fish conditions makes me wary about purchasing anything from there. Ended up going to another store that had incredible service and I now have a wonderful set up. Would NOT recommend this place and certainly wouldn't ever spend a dime here out of principle.
