Where we parked there was a path to get to the falls. They are not really falls, just a man made dam with concrete steps on several levels to check out the water. I could see people were able to have canoes on the lake and there was a beach and playground off to the distance on the other side. Another part of the park maybe? A lot of people were walking around with their kids or come go fishing. So it was a nice family area. I realize I am more of a resort pool with a lazy river girly, so I am not in love with the many swarms of gnats but that is me. If you are outdoorsy, this is a nice place to visit. Paired with Huckleberry railroad would be perfect.

Nice park located near the business district in flint Township. You don't even notice you're in flint township near the busiest retail corridor in town along Linden Rd. I've gone hiking and walking through here and I want to get in my bike and ride around here, too, now that warmer temps are here! It's never too crowded nor too desolate. The park seems well-maintained, clean, quiet private and is safe as it's patrolled by the cops from the nearby flint township police station, which was built on the grounds next door. If there's a problem, the cops couldn't be any nearer.

There's 3500 feet of asphalt trail, a series of shorter wood-chip trails, a pavilion, and several picnic table "stations." The park and trails seem perfect for a morning stroll, pet walk, or roller blading, but would feel rather limited for a serious biker. Parking is in the south lot of the Flint Township Police Station.

But. The staff are horrible, actively hostile to swimmers. They stand on the shore and scream that "you shouldn't be near the rope!" meaning the roped off swimming area. Um, hello? We swimmers have maybe 1% of the whole of Mott Lake to swim in, and they have nothing better to do than yell at people who are swimming close to--but not beyond--the designated area. If the concern is that someone could drown, the water's over one's head even halfway to the buoy. Plus them standing on the shore screaming won't rescue anyone while a swimmer absolutely could. Hey Bluebell staff, stop being such useless lowlifes.

The park offers lots or areas to run and play and a paved trail winding along a creek and though a wooded area that is excellent for walking, jogging or perhaps a great place for a child to learn to ride a bike. The trail also take you near a Children's Garden and a small memorial paying tribute to Lieutenant William H. Rust. The Park is pets friendly and open daily from 8:00am - dark. Amenities include a playground, basketball court, tennis court, baseball diamond and restrooms. There are several picnic tables and grills and also a pavilion available for rent. Overall a very nice peaceful and relaxing space of "Pure Michigan".

This is a fabulous free park! Miles of paved trails that wind through the woods and park,…read morebasketball courts, volleyball courts, a huge playscape, picnic tables, rentable pavilions, clean bathrooms, a skateboard park, sledding hill, baseball/softball diamonds, and additional small playground equipment. You can geocache or hunt Pokémon, walk your dog, or jog your stroller. The Davison police roll through regularly, and people are friendly and polite. There's no cost to use the park, and the pavilion rental is reasonable. If you feel like paying the fee, you can walk into Lake Callis next door. Or you can pass that and take additional trails throughout greater Davison or to the free Davison Dog Park. This is definitely worth a day to explore!

The large dog side is probably 12 times bigger than the small dog side allowing them to fully get a good run in. Not the parks fault, but there are some big left behind. Please make sure to clean up your dogs mess. Especially since they provide bags and trash for you.
