Muni Muni is a lovely women owned tea shop serving a variation of boba and matcha. It's a welcoming space with minimal seating but there's plenty of benches and tables nearby on Church Street. I got a mango matcha and customized the sweetness level (less sweet) to my preference and it was very good. Will definitely be back if I'm in the area!

They just released a Banana Nut Toffee Matcha Latte...and it's the BEST matcha I have tried!!! The banana flavor was not subtle and I LOVE that! The almond toffee bits added the perfect crunch to the drink & the matcha complements the banana so well. You can order with a kiosk or they can take your order as well. The drinks come out in like 5 minutes. The inside is small with only like 4 chairs for people to sit so it's more of a grab and go spot. Con: location it's in downtown so parking is a mission. Only serves drinks.
So glad there is a Boba place in Nashville! We were there for a long layover and the weather was pretty warm, all we needed was a refreshing Boba drink. This place has got great Boba drinks. Everything we ordered was perfect! Service was excellent and they were very friendly. Will definitely be back on our next visit.
My partner and I discovered this place thru social media and were immediately wanting to try this place out since there's not many good matcha spots. Of course, we got their speciality sweeter ones so we can't give the best feedback on the matcha itself. However, if you're wanting to try a speciality matcha drink, the strawberry and taro matchas were great options. The milk foam was a nice texture and tasted yummy. You can't taste the matcha too much but honestly, it's still really good. Baristas were really nice and welcoming too. It was funny because there was a regular who was really hyping up the strawberry matcha, so we took his recommendation. He was not kidding with how good it is! The store itself is quite small, but it's a cute space for a pick up and go, so don't expect to stay there for a long time! I'd def recommend checking this place out.

Was craving a matcha and found this spot on Yelp! You can the little shop with this floor to ceiling window walls and the entrance is tucked inside the building. There's a lot of fun matcha varieties and I chose the Taro Matcha. I did see them whisking the matcha which is always an A+++ in my book. The taro is actually a blue color but the drink is really pretty. The matcha drink was nice and earthy and smooth. The sweetness level was great too. Would definitely recommend!
This is an order ahead or get it and get out kinda spot. There is not much seating at all. The ambiance is cute tho. There is no parking and the space is small. The matcha was a bit sweet but modifiable in the order. They have lots of options. The sizes are nice. It is expensive but I guess it's a location thing.
We tried the classic matcha latte, lychee dragon fruit tea, and the roasted oolong milk tea. For Nashville, the matcha was a good color even after mixing with the milk and you could taste the flavor. Probably the best in Nashville that I've tried so far. Service was quick. The ambiance and space is quite small but it's on church street. The walk is quite nice, kind of corporate. No local parking unless you want to pay. 9.8/10 for Nashville

Overall: Yay for boba and matcha! I've been wanting to try this place for a while, and I was not disappointed! They have so many flavor combos that I've been missing. I got to try the mango matcha! So yum! A really good taste, and their boba is one of the best quality I've had while I've been out here. I will definitely be back to try more of their flavors. I have really missed a good boba place ever since I moved here from Cali. Service: Self-ordered at the little kiosk, drinks came out pretty quickly! Ambiance: Small, definitely more of a to-go place rather than a sit-down. But cute and clean inside. *Honestly, my only gripe would be the parking situation. It's frustrating to have to come and pay for parking just to get a to-go drink, so hopefully that could get addressed in the future.
Place is clean, wet friendly Staff, my kiddo dropped one of the drinks and the lady cleaned it asap. She redid the drink . I had the mango matcha, really good . Come check them out friendly staff and they had some good music as well:

Muni Muni tea shop is tucked away on a quieter street parallel to Broadway. The cafe is small and cozy, designed mostly for grab and go. The staff is extremely sweet and very quick with service. They have a fairly elaborate menu consisting of fruit tea, milk tea, and ceremonial matcha. Here, I got the mango passion fruit jasmine tea with boba pearls, while my husband got a lychee jasmine tea with mango popping boba. My jasmine tea was refreshing and did not taste artificial at all. It was perfect on the sweetness, the boba was perfectly chewy, and there were a few passion fruit seeds to bite. I happened to taste my husband's fruit tea, and I also liked his tea, but I loved the popping boba a little more. Their teas are reasonably priced for downtown, and I am glad I found a boba shop close to home! read more

This is such a welcome addition in Nashville. It is incredibly hard to find good quality matcha drinks here, most places are laughable. All the ladies at this shop are always so nice and friendly. Drinks are made with care. The shop is small but clean and menu is great. My go to is the taro matcha latte, I love taro and it actually tastes correct here. Highly recommend! read more

I love finding cafes or tea shops to try whenever I visit new cities and was pleasantly surprised to find such a great matcha spot in Nashville! Muni Muni's strawberry matcha was so good - great flavor and strong matcha. It's also conveniently located right off Broadway. Would definitely recommend! read more

Amazing! As a matcha lover, connoisseur who drinks matcha on the daily, love this place. Instantly so excited when I saw the Bright green color of the matcha and the words first harvest not just "ceremonial grade". It was alittle on the sweet side but I made sure to taste the matcha itself before stirring and just great quality. The cream top was a creamy thick texture so the crunchies don't just sink to the bottom. The workers were so nice and didn't mind answering any of my questions. Final score 100 out of 10. I have been searching for the perfect matcha in Nashville and I finally found it. One drink, the einspanner, really did it for me. I considered adding an extra shot of matcha when ordering because I'm used to other shops being very weak with their matcha, but this had the perfect saturation of matcha flavor, the color is that rich green, and the texture is thick and creamy. You get the bitterness up front but toned down with the cheese cap, and as you keep drinking it gets sweeter and lighter. About half way through I swirled the cup to mix, opted to not sip through a straw just to keep consistent with the layered drinking experience. This was so good, I tried to make it last as long as possible. Even though 100% I will be back for other items. Parking is paid and on the street, $2.23 around the corner to sit in the shop for 45 minutes and savor those sips. Next time I really need that matcha fix, I'm making time to get my ass Downtown. read more
im usually cautious with ordering matcha just because most places don't do it well but muni muni was sooo good!! the matcha was smooth and it was not watered down + strawberry and mango added additional flavors but didnt take away from the matcha taste. also, the cafe was super cute! love the aesthetics read more

Nashville is not known for having good boba places. As an Asian from LA, I've had some really good authentic boba places, so I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this place. Definitely the better boba spots in Nashville. I got the tiger sugar milk boba with creme brûlée and cheese foam top and it was solid. It's on the sweeter side which I enjoyed and the boba was actually soft and chewy. It seemed like it was fresh boba. If I was craving boba, I would definitely come here again. Since it's a new shop, the interior seems unfinished and still a work in progress so the vibes inside are a little mid. In addition, parking is very difficult to find since it is located in downtown Nashville. read more

This place is so good!! I got the taro matcha and it's exactly what you'd want. Perfect sweetness level at the recommended amount and a great milky, matcha flavor. The one thing I'd say is it's pretty expensive for a small size but the flavor is definitely good. The boba was great in it. I'd come back and try some of their other flavors, seems like the matcha was the more expensive thing on the menu so I'd try to go for a classic milk tea or taro next time. I tried my friends mango matcha which was really great and had a unique earthy taste. Also my friend got their Thai tea which was super good too and not too sweet which I liked! Definitely recommend checking out, they have a great menu with lots of variety. read more

We love boba teas. Gave this place a try. It was awesome. We don't like our drinks very sweet so always have to ask for less sweetness. This place had perfect sweetness. They have a lot of variety from classic teas to matcha and coffee so everyone in the group was happy. We got a few drinks but I didn't take pics except for mine. I tried the cafe Cha with coffee jelly. It was unique and so good. Definitely fusion....i felt British for a moment. Drinking my tea with milk and shot of coffee lol. They are super friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place and we will be back later today or tomorrow for sure! read more

VERY VERY delicious strawberry matcha. Definitely would come again if I come to Nashville. The flavor was so delicious and even my girlfriend's drink was good and I tend to avoid her matcha since it's 50% sugar but this one was good too. I love the idea of supporting a local shop and this place deserves it very much. I hadn't been the one ordering the drinks but my girlfriend said that staff was very nice. And the ambiance was very pleasant. They had lovely music playing with some seats for you to wait for your drink and even sit inside. read more

LOVE this spot for downtown!! I have tried it a few times now and my fav is the strawberry matcha. It is on the pricey side about $10 for one drink including tax and a tip. Pro tip - the sweetness can be a lot with the strawberry (I'd recommend asking for semi-sweet). read more
