We ordered a few milk teas as well as a matcha and chocolate bubble waffle. The milk teas were good! I can't say it's the best but I've ever had but it was satisfactory & hit the spot. I can confidently say GongCha has the best Jasmine Green Milk Tea in Nashville. I've been waiting years to have quality jgmt in Nashville and so ecstatic it's now part of South Nashville. The staff are super friendly and while the shop is small, it's got a cozy feel and on their less busy days a perfect place to get some work done. They also have lots of board/card games so a great place to hang with friends. Parking is also pretty easy because there is a garage next door that validates! As someone who grew up in the D.C. metropolitan area where popular franchised boba tea shops are plentiful, Gong cha has always been my #1 favorite. No words can truly express my profound excitement for Gong cha finally opening its doors and sharing the premium and quality boba tea that Gong cha is known for to Nashville. Not only is this the first Gong cha in Nashville, but also in the entire state of Tennessee! My favorite drinks are oolong milk tea and earl grey milk tea (I like to switch them up depending on the day and mood). The oolong tea has a very nice roasted aroma while the earl grey's bergamot gives the earl grey its distinct flavor. I personally think no other boba tea shop can do earl grey milk tea any better than Gong cha. There are a lot of customization available (sugar level, ice level, and toppings) to make your drinks suit your palate. Besides the drinks, free 1 hour validated parking is available, which is super convenient if you're planning to hang out here for a bit (We all know how annoying it is to have to pay for parking anywhere in Nashville). While the bathrooms are not directly in the store, it is available to guests not too far of a walk away and the bathrooms are spacious and CLEAN. Also the music that's playing on those Bose speakers are bopping!! Most importantly, no matter how busy they are, the staff is always super friendly and welcoming. Gong cha is a Taiwanese chain boba franchise that has quality customizable boba drinks. There are 2 order kiosks or you can order with a staff member. I like their classic boba milk tea and the strawberry matcha latte! Boba is cooked perfectly and service is always efficient and friendly. So excited to see a Gong Cha open up! This popular Taiwanese boba franchise definitely brought the crowds..it was super busy (and hot) when we visited, but the staff was friendly and helpful. They took the time to explain how to validate parking (scan the QR code in the parking lot, add your payment method, then add the code inside Gong Cha to validate for 1hr free). The parking is actually plentiful, with a spacious lot connected to the building. Ordering is a breeze: they have self-serve kiosks with pictures of all the drinks (love that), but you can also order at the counter if you prefer a more personal touch. A quick heads-up on the bathroom situation: it's not inside the store. You have to walk through the parking area to another entrance in the building. You'll need a key card to get in, but the staff will happily lend one if you ask. Now for the drinks: The matcha smoothie had good flavor, but the boba was a little on the firmer side. The oolong milk tea with milk foam was creamy, sweet, and just the right amount of tea flavor. Overall, it's a solid spot for a boba fix, especially if you're a Gong Cha fan.
