We ordered many items like the beef tacos and steak and everything we had was delicious! I had then ordered a desert that said apple pastry of sort and there wasnt a very good description. When I received it, it appeared to resemble Dunkin Ds munchkin with powered sugar. It was clearly fresh, but not at all what I expected or wanted. When we stated that, we were told, that they cant take it back and that they could wrap it for us to go and we could order something else, but that they would also charge us for it! Mind you, we were spending about 300 dollars for 2 people and everything else went great, we asked for the manager and her statement was cold and matter of fact. We also had no problem paying for a different dessert that we did want and had not touched the one we didnt. Seemed like the whole nice feeling we had sank like a rock in water. We did order something else and paid for it still. It wasnt even an expensive dessert, so I am not sure why the service tanked right then and there, but it left us with a bad feeling.

The service was great with the first waitress we had on our first visit (Amanda). She seemed genuinely interested in our happiness. There were minor snafoos the first time, but they were quickly resolved. ie. we asked for the steaks to not be cut, and they all came out cut.. they quickly took them back and brought us new ones!! No trouble at all. Mind you, the steaks are expensive! All their appetizers, soups and entrees are delicious, we practically ordered at least one of every appetizer plus everyone had a steak which was perfectly done to their request. The issues we had the second time, were slower to get resolved and our waitress from the first time (Amanda) came over and helped make things right. She went above and beyond and that's why, even with the minor issues they deserve a full 5 solid stars
