    Mushroom Valenti!
    Jerry F.

I just ate here last night and I have loads to say. There are no real upscale Kosher establishments in the area, although there are some that think they are. I am sure you know the ones that think they are. The ones that have crumbling plaster (watch your food), wierd smells, wall sconces from the early 1800's (not bad! antique! Right?) etc...... Anyways, Estreia is in a class of its own. The one thing that hits you right when you come in is the ambiance and the decor. Stunning!! Funky, but classy. Our servers were really helpful. Great recommendations and they were always there fo us when we needed something. Appetizers: I wasn't to impressed. The Mushroom Valenti seemed artificial and wholesale, but looked nice (see picture). And the Oriental Beef Spring Rosl was good, but it seemed very dry. Entree: AMAZING! I got the Asian rib-eye and my spouse got the 28 oz. Cowboy steak. Both were cooked to perfection (both pictured in their beauty). The Cowboy Steak had this peppercorn crusted seasoning that gave it a real kick, and the Asian rib eye had just the right flair of Asian flavors. And the ribeye came with really yummy green beans. Dessert: Chocolate Molten Cake (pictured). It was actually very good. But I was a little unimpressed. Dont bring it out if it collapsed. Either tell us it will be longer for a new one or ask us if we want something else. Pricing: Their pricing is more for NYC, than our area. But at the same time they do have items on the lower upscale end, but it goes all the way up high. All in all. Amazing and I will be back. I gave it a 4 out 5 just because of the issues mentioned above. But I highly recommend this establishment for Kosher lovers.

Went last night with my wife and mother in law. Beautiful atmosphere, very clean restaurant. I had the special of baby lamb chops and sirlion beef. It was "off the charts" delicious. I am not a big veggie person, but the zucchini and peppers were awesome. My wife had the potato crusted salmon and left nothing on her plate. My mother in law had the Chilean sea bass with sweet potatoes and white asparagus and she was on cloud nine. She was most amazed with the presentation. Culturally, it is a fascinating experience, most of the patrons are from the Orthodox community, very friendly, and happy to share the meanings of tradition. Our waitress was Jaclynn and she was the best!!! Very knowledgeable, and helpful, and so pleasant to talk to. It is a pricey restaurant but well worth the expense. We will be returning. Thanks Jaclynn Jim

So when we needed a dinner location in the Brick, I figured we would try this location. Upon my early arrival, I was seated in the west facing room with ample natural light. There was only one other table of "early birds" nearby and they were loud but entertaining. Our waitress greeted me and brought some water and an ice bucket. I perused the menu while waiting for my friends. To my delight, this place is MUCH larger than Manahawkin. There are at least three rooms. Regardless, by the time we left, it was very busy. reservations are highly recommended. When my friends arrived, our waitress reviewed the menu additions. We decided on the oysters, octopus, arugula salad and the cod special. Everything was excellent. Service and pace were perfect. Plates promptly cleared, bread replentished. We shared a tiramisu and I had a double expresso. We will definitely return. I will take some photos on my next visit.

We all sat in one of the side rooms so the noise wouldn't be overbearing. Cara was an excellent experienced server. The entrées were excellent with the accompanying soups. The Buratta was tangy and sweet with raspberry sauce combined with arugula. They now can sell wines. Their sangria was nice and savory.

You can pick your own toppings and there's no extra charge. The pickled onions are pungent but tasty. I occasionally question the quality of chicken but I don't want to think about that. I ordered from Yasas by Michael Symon, a Mediterranean restaurant. So, when Wonder came to Brick, I had to visit. I went in yesterday. It is a very small space located in Brick Plaza. There are tables and chairs for ten people only (I counted in case I decide to return with friends). There is a one-person, large, accessible bathroom in the front as well. There is a rack for pickup orders and then places to order the food. The staff immediately approached me and asked if I needed help with anything. I noticed the staff did that for everyone who walked in. They showed people how to download the app and how to order. I decided to order from Yasas again for my mom and Hanu Poke, a poke bowl restaurant. Our bowls were both huge and packed with food. My mom did say she thought the chicken portion was small--she said the same thing in Middletown. However, the bowl was so packed that it was enough food. I loved my tofu poke bowl! Since I am vegan and gluten-free, I asked them about the sauce, and they showed me how to indicate my dietary restrictions on the app. I have nothing bad to say about this place. The bathroom was even spotless. I hope they continue to offer great service and great food.
