The restaurant asks for food donations (suggested $30 per person) for a 3 course meal but if you can't afford to pay you can volunteer some time for your food as well. The noise from the other patrons did not bother us. I gave the ambiance a 8/10 due to the cramped space, since I imagined it to be much bigger. As uncustomary as the tables are, they are at least round meaning that they will not cause any disturbances between the patrons. I did not pay the smell any mind, though they did have the soft macaroon smell. The macaroons had the crumbly chew, and the tastes reflected all six of the flavors and the soft macaroon bread. I did not think too much about the aftertaste. There are plenty of menu items with the Ram Cafe brand on them, with the exception of the drinks which appear to belong to many other small brands. The music and the television did not distract me. I can see how this business will continue to represent Ramtown as its cafe, for its location in Ramtown Plaza makes it unique as a place to walk to from the other businesses. I do not have any strong suggestions, for everything seemed to fit well. If they do not already, they should locally source their ingredients, since many farms percolate throughout Howell.
