Macy, feeling puny, cuddling her kitty.

I called MuraBella after our regular vet, had no appointment, and failed to call with a test result. My Macys symptoms were concerning, and needed to be seen. From the first phone call, I was impressed w staff. The staff was responsive to my concerns and got us an appointment that day. Once we arrived, it was obvious that the place is run well. The vet tech got us in an exam room right away. Dr. Drillingas examined Macy, and made Diagnostic testing recommendations, and an estimate of charges beforehand. Once labs and Xray were done ( with my explicit approval ), Dr Drillingas reviewed findings, and treatment plan. Treatment started in the office, and we left w Antibiotic, 2 probiotics, and med to help decrease diarrhea. The next day I got a call to ensure that Macy was responding to treatment. She was. I had gone to a different practice after moving from Oregon in August. I felt like I just did not get the attention to detail with my Macys care. In Oregon, we had always gone to an AHAA accredited Veterinary Clinic. We had great care. With Murabella Animal Hospital, xray, labs we done on site. The treatment plan Dr Drillingas gave Macy was quite Holistic, and comprehensive. I ask a lot of questions. Dr. Drillingas and the staff were incredibly responsive and thorough. My little 12-year-old Irish Terrier was perking up after about 6 hours! Whew! Relief! If you don't have your pet treated at an AHAA accredited Veternary facility, change now. The excellent standards are quite obvious. Murabella Animal Hospital goes over and above, in my opinion. This retired Critical Care RN is very discerning with all things medical, especially when it concerns my sweet little girl!

Dr Bell and staff are incredible. My cat Vera was near death for a poorly treated UTI. From a "franchise" vet starts with an F. She developed kidney failure and diabetes from this- lost so much weight - skin & bones. Dr Bell has treated her and brought her back - she has gained 2 pounds. It's unreal the care and knowledge they provide. Best vet ever. Do not trust your pets health to a discount vet- I paid the price. Vera is just 3 years old. Highly recommend. If you care for you pet you should definitely use Murabella Animal Hospital for your pet's care !

You learn the difference between a good vet and a fantastic vet in crisis…read more Our crisis is our 1 yr old Doberman Halo. She struggles with major GI issues that all logic would point to her being near death each time. I desperately needed a vet I could trust with her life and my mental health. Everyone at Animal Medical Clinic is fantastic. Im not just saying that cause the front desk is nice.. That the vets costs are fair and they are trustworthy... Or that our dogs enjoy coming here... Although those statements are true... I'm saying they are fantastic as in crisis they are the glue that keeps us together. I can feel confident in what they recommend for diagnostics. Dr.Russell is comforting, personable and a wealth of knowledge. We have had health emergencies in the past with other vets and left scrambling. Dr.Russell and his team handled everything all the way down to the little details. Which in the moment felt pretty big. My precious Halo is healing from yesterday's life saving surgery. I'm just in awe of how this all went. I'm forever thankful to Animal Medical Clinic. We have three Dobermans at different stages of life. We are happy to make the 45 minute drive for their care. Thank you Animal Medical Clinic!!!

Showed the records of exactly what was done to prevent a reaction. Was told precautions that they were taking were enough and she would be fine. Within 10 minutes of leaving she began to vomit. I was told to bring her back. I did and they said she looked ok. I said I thought her tongue looked pale. They took her back to do an ultrasound which confirmed she was having an allergic reaction. Was told they would monitor her but were closing in an hour so I could stay until they closed. At closing was told if anything at all changed to take her to the emergency vet and we would be reimbursed. An hour after we got home her face started to swell. Took her to the emergency vet only to confirm again that she was having an allergic reaction and it could be serious but all they could do was monitor her because she couldn't have more meds for another hour. I took her home, gave her Benadryl at the appropriate time and just stayed up watching her all night. The next day no call from the vet (I was told they would call to check on her) I finally called before close of business to remind them of the reimbursement of my emergency vet bill. Normally I wouldn't have done that but at that point I was annoyed. I was told they would be filing it with the vaccine company. I was finally called two days later in the afternoon by the vet to say that she misunderstood and that I would not be getting reimbursed. I was floored. I couldn't say anything kind so I got off of the phone and sent an email to the practice manger explaining the details. I received an email back saying they would look into it. Hours later the vet called and said they had to "open a case" with the vaccine company and they agreed to reimburse. I shouldn't have had to go thru that. They should have stood by their word to pay for an emergency visit. No questions. It was likely not a large amount of money for a vet practice but it was not something I had to throw around and it was definitely the principle. Such a shame. I was hoping to find a good vet close by.
