Extremely overpriced I used to bring all my animals up here but now they won almost $500 for one vet visit for shots. This place is extremely overpriced. Do not bring your pets here. They could've told me over the phone that my dog isn't going to be able to get his hundred dollar allergy shot that he gets once a month for the past couple years that he just got last month I come back to bring him in this month for the shot. They do not tell me over the phone that is going to be a almost hundred dollar charge for an examination which he's already had one for a rabies shot. That vet assistant admitted that their prices are extremely more than others handed me a brochure of low-cost clinics because they are no longer one. I drove over an hour away to come and get the same thing I have been getting for the past year and now my dog has to suffer because they wanna charge me almost $300 just to get the bare minimum one shot rabies shot and examination fee absolutely crazy that they wanna charge me almost $100 for an examination fee when I've already paid it most that you pay the $60 one time this place wants you to pay the $70 once a year at the least or whenever they feel like it. They are normally extremely nice to me for some reason today things were off I couldn't put my finger on it. They almost forgot to give me my quote before they took my dog back thank God they didn't do that because they would not have been getting paid a 1000% could've told me this over the phone instead of having me drive over an hour away and then tell me to my face while I'm in between work that I've gotta pay almost $500 for all of these shots. 1-Star Review for Forever Vet Marbella I am extremely disappointed with the care my dog received at Forever Vet Marbella. I came in with multiple concerns that something was seriously wrong with my dog. Instead of giving him a full examination, I was charged over $700 for two X-rays and for him to be "monitored" for the day. When I picked him up, nothing was resolved, and I was given no solid answers. The next day, when I called back to explain that he was still not doing well, I was told that they did not perform a full diagnostic exam--they only checked his stomach because that's what I thought the issue was. As a veterinary clinic, it is their job to thoroughly evaluate the animal, especially when the symptoms are unclear. Because they failed to diagnose him properly, my 7-pound dog was left in pain for an entire week. They told me that his stomach swelling would go down if I changed his food, which turned out to be completely incorrect. After two weeks of him continuing to suffer, I took him to another vet who immediately diagnosed him with a neck strain that required multiple medications for pain and inflammation. This is something Forever Vet Marbella should have caught right away. To make matters worse, when I expressed that I felt unheard and was considering taking him elsewhere, I was basically told I was "more than welcome to do that." After three years of bringing my dog to this clinic, that level of indifference was shocking. The amount of stress and pain our family went through--trusting a vet who clearly didn't take my concerns seriously--was a horrible experience. I would never recommend Forever Vet Marbella to anyone. Highly recommend this place! My dog corona suddenly became sick two weeks ago and I was able to get in her in very quickly! Front desk staff is super friendly and very sweet to my girl! Dr. Miranda is awesome! She has been so helpful with my sick pup! Sara the vet tech has also been super helpful! It definitely makes dealing with sickness easier when you have people you trust! She assessed the problem and treated it exactly as we had hoped, cleaned the paw applied meds and gave us meds to take home and we have a follow up with her in about 12 days. I was wrongfully charged for services I did not receive and then threatened by a member of staff that I would be held hostage if I did not pay for said services. Earlier this year, my monthly plan for my three dogs increased 41% in price. Bad business retention policy, but it is in the contract that they will do so without warning. I accepted this fact but still decided to cancel. Also in the policy, you will be charged full price for services used while under the plan. Understood. However, I was charged for services my dog did not receive per my specific instruction that I did not want to give him certain shots. I was in the room and watched what was administered to my dog. When the bill finally arrived, I contacted client solutions to let them know I had been incorrectly charged and to please adjust the bill to reflect only the services I did receive. After some back and forth, I was told that the vet confirmed my dog allegedly received those shots. At an appointment with my other dog during all of this, I confirmed with the tech that if multiple shots were not administered, he could not have received all the claimed treatments. They do not mix these shots together. Hence the 1 shot he did receive could not have contained ALL those vaccines. While at this appointment, I was then told I would not be allowed to leave the property without paying the full balance of the services. The client solutions team, who had not gotten back to me for over a week on the matter, had directed the tech more than once to hold my hostage until I paid. Bear in mind that my card is on file, if they HAD to charge me, they could have, WITHOUT threatening me. My dog is uncomfortable enough at the vet and the hostile environment making me uncomfortable coerced me in agreeing to pay the bill so I could leave and stop feeling threatened by tech in the room with me. This experience was so awful that despite paying the remainder of the plan for my third dog, which expired this month, I paid to take him elsewhere still to receive his annual shots. I'm disgusted with how I was treated. I think it is abhorrent that a vet who sees 10+ dogs a day can claim that they remember administering shots I specifically denied, when I was in the room and witnessed otherwise. I was willing to pay the full price of the vaccines and treatments we did receive, but apparently that was not good enough for this money hungry business. They do not care about you or your animals, they care about their bottom line. Threatening a young woman is a pathetic business practice and you should be ashamed of yourselves. read more

My 11 month golden retriever was a patient with Forever Vets Animal Hospital of Murabella Parkway since we brought him home at 12 weeks old. I never missed a preventative care appointment and was diligent about keeping him up-to-date with all immunizations. On Saturday, 9/9/24 at 8am , my pup started vomiting. He again vomited an hour later and I immediately called the vet. They refused to see him despite being open Saturdays 7am-7pm. I advised them that I was concerned and would like to have him evaluated. The receptionist was incredibly rude and lacked compassion. At no point was I placed on hold to speak to the veterinarian, nor did I receive a follow-up care call. I took it upon myself to take my sweet boy to the St. Augustine Regional Veterinary ER. They immediately evaluated him and X-rays confirmed a severe blockage in his lower abdomen. He had gastroplexy surgery 2 hours later which saved his life. Dr. Dowin took wonderful care of my boy. Unfortunately, he required additional overnight observation and I was advised to take him to our primary vet for post-surgery observation. Again, I called Forever Vets Animal Hospital of Murabella Parkway and they refused to take him because they were not comfortable taking him until a veterinarian was onsite at 9am despite opening at 7am with post-op care available (my pup was discharged Monday at 7:30am from St. Augustine Regional Veterinary ER). I called before he was discharged to confirm we'd be en route. Again, at no point was I placed on hold to speak to the veterinarian on call. The receptionist admittedly refused to take him. St. Augustine Regional Veterinary ER called Forever Vets Animal Hospital of Murabella Parkway and they still refused to take him. Fortunately, St. Augustine Regional Veterinary ER partners with St. Johns Veterinary Hospital and I was able to take him immediately to their facility for post-operative care. Dr. Wihbey was compassionate and understanding and my pup was immediately attended to and is recovering comfortably. Suffice to say that we are now patients with St. Johns Veterinary Hospital for their diligence and compassion. I submitted a formal complaint to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) (Complaint Id: C2602.LVE5057) for the questionable ethical practices modeled at Forever Vets Animal Hospital of Murabella Parkway. I share the above in hopes of preventing an unacceptable situation for others that my poor pup was placed in, and I highly advise against entrusting your animal's care to this establishment. If your pet is in distress, your pet will not be prioritized and you will be met with nothing but lack of empathy on behalf of the support staff. read more

Dr. Starr killed our best friend/fur baby due to neglect. He laughed in our faces when we asked what happened after our baby died in the middle of the night. He did not even come in the next day to give his condolences when he knew our dog died. Instead, he lied about being there that day when we called asking questions. Our Tazz was diagnosed with an ACL tear and died in excruciating pain with a flesh eating disease that could have been caught if Dr. Starr did his job and diagnosed him correctly. Also, if anyone wants to try to make me look bad like I don't know what I'm talking about, I will more than happily share the necropsy report saying that Dr. Starr failed to diagnose our baby correctly and he died in pain. Today, we should be celebrating Tazz's birthday but instead we are mourning his death (even 5 months later). Dr. Starr- you should be ashamed of yourself and I hope that you look at this review everyday to remember the family member you shamelessly killed. In loving memory of our baby! read more

Service wise was great when it came to the young woman at the front desk. I believe her name was Ashley. She was extremely bubbly and you could tell she loves the animals. The other two girls who were with her were in my opinion hating life and seemed like they need to find other jobs. I work in the hospitality business and have managed many restaraunts as well as hotels. Sorry for the tangent. As i was saying the young woman (Ashley) who set up our appointment and walked us through the pet care plans for our dog was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. When we asked one of the other employees up front a question their answer was heres a pamplet. I believe we over heard the manager correcting them while we were leaving later. The doctor whom i cant remeber her name, was informative and encouraging. We had a bad flea problem with our baby. She had been itching alot, so she gave us some meds and a few tips to help around the house. Overall im giving 4 stars for the sweet receptionist. She made a good impression on my husband and I. These are the type of people you want representing your brand. You can tell she loves her job as well as all the animals. Thank you Forever Vets! We absolutely love this Vet and all the staff. They are great with our pets! I am only giving them three stars because we purchased a wellness plan here that included dental but when it came time for the dental procedure the cost still came to over 200 even with it being included in the wellness plan. They had things on the invoice charging for things like the gown and gloves and other instruments. Our old vet only charged us 200 for the whole procedure without a wellness plan so I feel like these wellness plans are a marketing gimmick. I have never seen a vet charge for the gown and latex gloves. Don't waste your money on the wellness plan with dental. Like I said the vet and the staff are great but whoever is handling the marketing and structure on the pricing for these things are bordering on what most would call a scam. read more

Wellness appointment took 2.5 hours. 30 minutes late to get us into a room and another hour of waiting to get nails clipped. I'm giving them a 3 star because the vet tech and Dr. are very nice and informative. I really felt the vet tech cared and was doing her job. I took my little guy in for a second opinion for dental work and cleaning. They throughly examined him and came up with a treatment plan. The estimate was $1,300.00 for a dental cleaning and to remove 7 teeth. There were some additional recommendations but not required that would of totaled to $1,446.00. I made sure we reviewed the estimate twice so there was no misunderstanding. I decided to go with his regular vet, which cost $950.00 for a cleaning and to remove 7 teeth. There's 4 veterinary clinics within 4 miles of each other. Please do your research. I know it's not always about the money, you have to be comfortable that your pet getting the proper care. $372.00 is a big difference from one vet to the next. His regular vet gave a low to high estimate. With Forever they did not. Based on my conversation it would have been at least $1,300+. But they will call if additional work is need it, so you can approve the extra cost. read more

My dog has seizures and was treated by Dr.Ford years ago he was amazing. Just recently I ordered a refill for her medicine it was cancelled by a doctor at this location because they changed pharmacies. When I reordered the medicine at the new pharmacy it was $15 more. A few days later I reached out to them to see where the order was and was told that the doctor never authorized the prescription and they had been emailing and calling the office repeatedly. I was down to my last pill so I went in to straighten things out. I was given 10 pills for $25 (rip off alert) then told I was 3 months behind on my service payment plan. First off the payment was connected to my debit card so I don't know why it wasn't being withdrawn I have been on it for a few years now. Second you just almost killed my dog and your trying to extract more money from me. Something has changed for the worse at this place and I do not recommend bringing pets here if they have life threatening situations. read more

Took my dog in to get ear drained. Wouldn't drain it they recommended surgery instead. Quoted 1200.00 for the surgery. Contacted my old vet they quoted 500.00 for the surgery and even said that surgery probably would not be necessary. Way overpriced. read more

The vets and techs are all SUPER nice, which is why they got 2 stars. Pricing is my biggest problem with this vet. They have extremely high prices for everything and add services to visits that you don't ask for. They added a microchip and anal gland expression that we didn't ask for. They quoted $530 just to spay our puppy. After researching and shopping around, the average cost of a spay is $200. Vets show up later than techs. This wouldn't be a problem, but my puppy got blood work done by the techs prior to her spay surgery, only to find out once the vet got there that she has a rash on her belly and can't get the surgery. We still had to pay $100 for the blood work, $200 for medications to clear up the rash, and were told we'd have to pay for the blood work again when we actually got her spayed. They quoted us for her spay and left off charges, and didn't keep a record of the quote in their system, so they tried to tell my fiancé it would be $700 for her spay when he brought her in. Overall, very frustrated and will not be bringing either of our dogs back to forever vets. read more
