Bathroom design from the 80s I guess, huge bathroom with many stalls for men and 1 man in there and women's bathroom smaller only a few stalls and a line of 30 women like why can't they redesign this? One small heat pump a/c hanging on the wall in back of the theater with hundreds of people crammed in soaking wet with sweat. It's great beyond that but it's like they're practicing to be a theater. Ate at the Mexican restaurant there beforehand which food was okay average not bad, very convenient and they had a/c but theater was a mess it was hot before concert even started.

It was super modern and clean. There was a small bar with various drinks. As far as food, I only saw candy and chips listed. Water was also $4 and came in an environmentally friendly bottle. Bathrooms were downstairs, which wasn't an issue for me but could be for someone with limited mobility. If you have limited mobility and plan on visiting, I would call to ensure the restrooms can be accessed. The room where the musicians perform is large and there is a small seating area upstairs, which is a different, more expensive ticket. I did see about 5 or 6 stools downstairs for those who need to sit. Unfortunately, the main act was unable to perform but the theater did send out an email several hours before the show started to let guests know their options so that was appreciated. Overall, it's a really nice venue for a show!

This is the original location where many stars got their Start. The staff was amazing. The experience was fantastic. The comics started on time. They put your table number and your party number on a sealed envelope where you will put your phone in where it has to be sealed the entire time you step into the cellar. Very efficient and very streamlined process. We didn't order food. We just had cocktails and it was amazing. Easily one of my favorite nights of the city. The location is fantastic being in the village.

I reserved a spot online to avoid the hassle of not making the cut at the standby line. As a party of 1, I sat with another party of 1 and she was there to see Usama Siddiquee as well. What a coincidence! 2 item minimum and phones are put in a puffy mailer bag that you have on you until the rest of the show. Their beef yakitori skewers were juicy and tender! My cucumber gin drink was refreshing and not too strong. Each comedian that went up did such a great job with various styles of humor and experiences to share. I wasn't expecting a drop in but Marcello Hernandez from SNL went up and did some new material. God.. I love good surprises. Usama closed out the night strong and I was incredibly pleased with the show. Not gonna lie.. it was kismet that I got to shake their hands after their sets since my table was by the exit door. Def an evening I'll never forget!

It's a black box theatre with seating for about 100 people. I was amazed at what they were able to do to transform the space for the play. The acting was top-notch and the cost of the ticket was beyond reasonable ($28!) Students only pay $5. What I love is that the play was written by a person of color, directed by a person of color and there were actors of color. This type of diversity is rare in theatre so when I learned more about the play, it motivated me to check it out. I hope they continue to be intentional in this way as I would certainly visit again.

Was able to find a parking spot right in front of the theater.. which was a plus being it was a Saturday afternoon. Plenty of parking is available nearby, though. The theater is attached to Wonder Bar. I love how you can sit outside at a table to hang out before seeing a movie with a beer or wine. Prices are reasonable as well. The theater only shows 3 movies. Inside the theater is very clean & spacious! Will be back to see another movie again!
