As an AMC (high priority) Stubs member I felt deeply disappointed and violated after my movie tonight. Upon leaving my movie, which was rather subpar, I took a stroll to the VIP AMC Stubs lounge and was brutally confronted by Izzy. Remember, as an AMC Stubs Member, I felt extremely uncomfortable after Izzy threatened to report me for trespassing. Mind you, as an AMC Stubs Member, it is my rightful privilege to have unrestricted access to the VIP Lounge. Izzy antagonized me even more when she threatened to lock me up if I put even one toe in the threshold of the VIP Lounge. I have always loved the movies and the movie theater experience. Not many movie theaters nearby but AMC galleria is a good option but theater considering it is in a mall. My only beef in amc is since the pandemic I assume they've lost their partnership with Tostitos so a move theater classic snack has really taken a down turn. But amc offers tons of food options, even beer now. I will always go to the movies it's a lovely experience since I was a kid. AMC also offers the A List which is a great option for a movie lover. read more

We had a miscommunication over what I ordered and she fixed everything with no issues or complaints. Seat comfort (4/5): I love lounging recliner seats. They have them here but some of the seats are getting worn down. Perhaps they can get them reupholstered or replaced. Maybe one day this location will get the upgrade with the seat warmers. This theater is clearly in an older physical structure. So, be ready for that. The appearance can stand to update itself, but it makes do for what it has! The entrance is via the mall, not through the doors- that are now closed off and decorated, sort of as part of the decor. It's a little bit of a crowd trying to narrow everyone down and get inside the theater area, as there are some kiosks sort of behind where the ticket taker is located. So, be ready for that confusion. The concession stand is right there, and it might be a good size, but for 16 theaters and the space it is supposed to provide concessions for, it is definitely too small. AMC does have the order your food and drinks in advance option, so, maybe just do that on a busy day, or get their wicked early. We opted for the latter, and thank goodness, because a few minutes later (5 minutes), it was completely packed, and 10 minutes later, the concession stand line was to the entrance in the mall. Crazy. The prices are typical AMC prices, so not much is controlled by the folks here. The staff were efficient and the food and drinks were as expected. Nothing to complain about, and pretty good quality fresh popcorn! The drink machine is one of the new automated self serves, where you pick your drink. It's very modern and nice. The seat are the recliner seats that have ample room. However, AMC seats have no tray tables, so it's annoying. The bathrooms are fine, but again, there should be more for having 16 theaters. Parking is fine, there is the mall parking lot, but again, be careful on super busy days, where you may need to journey to the theater from your spot or patiently try to find a spot. All in all, we were happy with the experience, considering there wasn't enough concession space or staff to take care of all the people. They made do, and it was fine. read more

Every time I go there the place sames like a backup septic tank with a hint of burnt popcorn. It is totally disgusting!! For the price of the tickets and snacks they should put some money back into fixing the place. Save your money and order it on streaming unless of course you enjoy the smell of a backup septic!! read more

I was disappointed when I took my daughter to see Puss in Boots here. While visiting family in NY my sister-in-law highly recommended this theater so we went together as a family. But as soon as we walked in we noticed the theater was never cleaned from the previous showing. There was popcorn on the floor, on the seats, grease marks on the chair from people who ate popcorn, and some trash left behind in cup holders. We went during the week so I'm not sure if they just assumed nobody was going to go into a showing that evening and didn't feel like cleaning it or what. But as soon as we walked in my sister-in-law walked out and ask someone to clean it. When the Guy in charge and another employee walked in to clean we stepped out. They never stopped the preview from playing so we missed that and when the movie started they called us back in to watch it. However, they did let us know that when the movie finished they would finish cleaning the theater. That seemed so odd to me because why should it matter to me that you will clean it after we leave when it should have been done before I entered? The movie theater is small and nice, but it really should have been cleaned. I understand a business may be understaffed, but the same people who came in the clean were the ones standing around the front who didn't seem like they had much to do. This facility was disgusting from the moment we stepped in. If I hadn't purchased the tickets online, I would have left. We arrived for a 1:30 matinee and I can only imagine what the place would look like at the end of the day. We bought concessions and as we entered the soda fountain area, it was an absolute mess. None of the machines had ice and they were sticky and covered in grossness. We were refused a refund. The bathrooms smelled like a sewer and there was toilet paper everywhere and dragged out into the main area. There were no clean stalls and the appearance was horrific. I understand that humans are disgusting but no one was doing anything to remedy the mess. This was before we even entered the theater. Unfortunately the dated theater did not improve the experience. There was a light shining in my eye from the ceiling and the sound was overpowering. We paid a lot of money to enjoy the recliner seats and the entire experience was miserable. This company is dishonest, unethical and corrupt. My family and I purchased six tickets to The Iron Claw yesterday for a showing today. When we arrived they first scanned all of our tickets, then told us that there were HVAC issues in the theater and would we be interested in seeing another movie. Since this was literally THE LAST viewing of the movie in the theater, we asked for a refund instead. At this point, the associate called a manager and the manager said that since we had used Apple Pay, they could only issue us a gift card or movie passes. Again, since this was the last viewing of the film, we said that those options were not acceptable. At this point, the General Manager came out. His demeanor was dismissive and bored and he reiterated that those were the only options available. At this point several of us were completely incensed, not only at the refusal to give us a refund, but also at his smug, self-satisfied attitude. Eventually we called up our credit card company and they said they would reverse the charges. The dishonest part is that they 1) deliberately scanned our tickets to lock us into the charge, then 2) did everything within their means to make us spend that money on something other than THE SERVICE THEY WERE OBLIGATED TO PROVIDE and 3) treated us poorly to boot. I will never spend a penny at AMC ever again and I understand why they are having liquidity and solvency issues. If this is how they treat paying customers, they deserve to go out of business. read more

The day me and my class went on a field trip to see the wild robot movie at AMC, we had the best time ever!!! We got on the bus to go there, and we walked in, 24 kids, 2 adults, 3 workers. We had read this book in reading at school and decided to go see the movie. The teachers decided to get every kid a small popcorn, a pack of fruity Tootie fruit snacks. we got in the theater and my friends went to sit in the front. me and my friends Patrick, Aiden, Riley, and Jax all sat up front. the seats were reclining, and we felt like we were at home sitting in lazy boy recliners. we watched the movie, and we LOVED it. This is a great theatre to watch a move! It is an updated amc so there is reserved seating, you can pre-purchase your tickets, and the food selection is rather deep. I am an avid movie goer and visit this location at least 1 a week. I have come here at all sorts of different hours and it can be a pain to get parking or it can be easy. It's located at a mall so it's an expected part of the process. It's connected to a mall entrance so you can park anywhere and find your way to the theatre. Movie wise they have a great selection from 3D movies, independent films and your typical major releases. They don't do special event showing here like they do at the Danbury AMC but I enjoy this place just a little more. Big leather seats, 16 screen large and small auditoriums it easily qualifies as worth it. All in all if you are in the mood to watch a movie, take the trip, join the free rewards program and you have access to $5 Tuesdays where it's all guess what $5 a ticket. Compared to any other theatre around, this is a great place to go! The prices are a little much whether it's for the movie or the concession stand but that's because of the high quality recliner seating and theaters.. Super comfy, large and clean, red and black leather seats! They recline all the way back into a laying down position and are grouped into 2 seats that the arm rest goes up in the middle. The seats are assigned when you buy the tickets online or at the entrance. Theres plenty of leg room and there's many theaters. If there's a brand new movie out, they have it playing in multiple different theaters at once. They have plenty of bathrooms, trash cans and water fountains around. This use to be my favorite theater to watch all the latest movies. I liked the snack options, the reclining seats and the convenience of buying your tickets online. Except now this place has gone down the drain. I noticed this last week when I came to watch a movie. I went to the snack line, ordered my food and received these flimsy boxes used to keep your food in. They'll fall apart if you dont hold them right. And they're smaller meaning less food to carry. Then, after leaving the snack line and you start walking to your theater, it wreaks like sewage. Like if an open bathroom was just kept there in the main lobby. It makes you want to gag. The smell was there last week when I went. I figured it would be gone when I went again this weekend. It certainly got better, but you can still smell it. It's too bad. This was my favorite theater. Now I guess I'll either go to the AMC in Jersey or go to a different franchise. read more

Fine for movie viewing. The Ladies' Room is an absolute disgrace. I've smelled NYC subway bathrooms that were better. I spoke to the so-called Theater Manager, who quickly, dismissively, stated she would look into it. Therefore, if you can avoid it, do not use the Ladies' Room in the theater unless you're desperate. I come here at least 2 days a week. In the last few years it has really gone down hill. Some of the recliner seats do not work. Some are caved in so you cannot sit in them for an entire movie. These are not marked in anyway on their apps so, you must keep track, and hope you don't get one. The roof leaks, on the first and second floor. Many times during heavy rains seats will be moved due to rain leaking into theaters. These seats are still available to rent, this causes an issue since it's all reserved seats. The people who got unlucky enough to choose these seats will sit in someone else's seats, and the drama begins. Today they ran out of toilet paper. So they stocked the upstairs bathroom, and left the first 4 stalls downstairs empty. I brought to the manager Dillon's attention, he wanted it done that way. He didn't want it shared amongst the stalls, because that is more work later. I explained why this doesn't work. I suggested putting one in each. He again said he didn't want it done that way. He then remarked have a nice night and ended the conversation. They have had a broken Coke freestyle machine downstairs for over a year now. If they have 7 screens downstairs, almost half, why don't they take care of the downstairs theaters also? This theater has gotten rid of customer service completely. You have to use an app or kiosk to buy tickets. My debit card doesn't work in their kiosks. No one is ever around to help. So then I have to use their app, okay, but the theater is in a dead spot for mobile data and they don't provide wifi for this. It seems they would be able to fix what's broken after they cut customer service and toilet paper. It also seems maybe Dillion needs to learn more before dealing with females. He might not use TP but we do. read more

Horrible customer service. I tried buying a rated r movie, not expecting to be id'd. Mind you I am with my OF AGE girlfriend and ofc I am of age too and it shows on my skin...I buy the ticket and the little girl asks for my id. She says since my girlfriend does not have her id on her I would have to be 21 to get us both in. So i kindly asked for a refund and was not informed that it was going to take 3-7 days and to have my receipt thrown in the trash..when my bank statement says i was charged twice for the movie. I love watching movies here after the renovations last year. They have reclining seats in every single theater here! You also have to choose your seats when you buy your tickets now. So I always buy my tickets online instead to choose the best seats. There is a small fee for when you buy tickets online so I signed up for a AMC stubs card which makes it free to buy tickets online. There's free popcorn refills with the stubs card. Also the ticket is supposed to be cheaper on Tuesdays but I can't seem to get the discount online. Maybe if you buy it at the theater? The theater isn't immaculate but isn't horribly dirty either. It's what I would expect from a normal movie theater... Overall a very solid place to catch a movie! *edit* so I still love coming to this place but it's just that there is always popcorn and gunk in the cup holders! Beautifully renovated modern theatre with lay flat reclining seats. You get to choose your reserved tickets. Tickets cost about $11. The concession stand prices are outrageous. I paid $9.57 for a bottle of water and a bag of M&Ms. Go to Target for snacks. AMC has the newer Coke machines with seemingly infinite combinations of flavored sugar syrup. Multiple self-serve hot butter taps are available to soak your heart stopping popcorn until it dissolves the bottom of the popcorn tub and gets on your pants. read more
