Out of the three bands I could not make out ONE lyric when i was standing by the bar and its not like it's that massive or I was far away. It's something they absolutely need to work on bc otherwise what is the point of seeing a band play if you can't even hear them?

I arrived early enough to have time to sip before the show started, but I did want to take my drink in with me and enjoy throughout the evening.

There are two levels: the first floor is geared more toward younger kids and has several play areas including a fire station/fire truck with dress-up costumes, play-pretend market and cafe, a maker studio, a play room with a train track, foam blocks and some structures, and a couple of other exhibits. The second floor is suitable for both younger and older kids and is STEM focused, with exhibits that demonstrate scientific principles in a fun and educational way. My toddler was so excited to explore everything and could have spent hours in here. I'd say it's best suited for kids under 10. The website says up to 12yo but honestly I think the tweens of today would be quickly bored. Admission is $13 whether for kids or adults (under 1 free). The museum wasn't very crowded, and has seating all around for parents to sit and watch while the children played.

It's almost like a mute button to all of your thoughts and you instantly kind of forget where you're at. The little drive, fields and curves might take you somewhere in Europe. When you get there and realize the gem of a spot you are walking into with sweet, crisp, juicy floral scents all over and bumble bees buzzing - you almost can't believe it, yes, it's the Hudson Valley. During season, you can come out and pick your own flowers. Choose from a small or large mason jar or if you're already here - go big or go home with their gallon metal bucket. Be sure to also have a sip of their seasonal drinks like their amazing frosè and all the good stuff from Weeds. Hands down my favorite flower farm in the area. March Madness is just around the corner and with College Basketball coming to a season end; what…read morebetter way to catch a live game than at McCann Arena, home to The Red Foxes of Marist. McCann Arena is located on the campus of Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. It seats about 3,200 fans and there is not a bad seat in the house. The men's and women basketball team play all their home games there. I took in a game yesterday with the wife and seat behind the home basket, 2nd row aisle. Awesome seats and for $12 each, not a bad deal. Parking is free, but if you get there 15 minutes before game time your parking all the way down the other side of campus. The campus is hilly and it is a nice hike to the arena. They do have a free shuttle service that takes you to the front door of the arena. Food options are limited; hot dogs, pretzels, pizza, soda and water. No adult beverages, only for The Red Fox Den members, a booster club. If you want to support local college basketball, McCann Arena is as good as it gets. Affordable tickets, free parking, easy to get to and if your lucky a Marist Victory.

No matter where you sit, the view is always good and I've sat in a lot of spots here. Sure, they don't win as many games was one would like but realistically, these are the best ballers in our area. I considered going to Marist but I wanted to go away for college. Any event at the McCann Arena is fun and worthwhile. I saw an Everclear concert here about 10 years ago. Check out a game and have a good time.
