So, after enjoying a few margaritas at Los Cucos I decided to shop my buzz off at Unique Boutique…read more I found a cool lamp they had for sale that they had posted on craigslist so it made sense to me! excuses, excuses! The place is full of lots of interesting(and a few overpriced) chotchies. I was able to haggle my way into purchasing a fun chair and cool lamp at a great price (this is the part where liquid courage comes in handy). I'll definately keep my eye out for more deals at this tucked away gem in Seqin the next time I'm there. I've got my eyes on some cool old school rollerskates that may just need a new home on my shelf.

This is a large shopping center facing…read moreI-35 northbound, and Creekside Crossing, which is where the Buc-ee's is- this used to be the largest convenience store in the world across the street. New Braunfels Town Center isn't really in the town center- that's where the square is. This is a bit outside of the downtown area. It's not really creekside either. This shopping center is large, with lots of chain restaurant options, and a liquor store, and plenty of places to shop. Ingress and egress is easy along the Creekside Crossing road and the I-35 frontage road. Parking is plentiful. I do not care for the intersection that TxDot made in front of this place, between this shopping center and Buc-ee's. It briefly makes drivers drive on the left side of the road like we're in Britain or something.

My complaint is when checking out, as my family and I did have a lot of items. After check out I told the lady that I really appreciate her patience's and even apologized for the items I have, she said nothing and even complained about not having her lunch break yet. I think if you didn't want to work in retail then don't, I wasn't rude, and even said thanks, the least you can do is actually communicate when someone is talking to you!

About two years ago I would have bought half the store. Then, found a cowgirl for a girlfriend. While I still have most of the clothing before her, It's kinda in the back of the closet. Still wear it! OK, so part time cowpoke. In the summer this fashion comes out instead of sweating my ass off in cowboy garb. I hate shopping and honestly rarely go to Kohl's because I think they are over priced and their women's clothes are ...just blah. That's only my opinion though ladies so don't come for me please Why I'm writing this review ~~ We only went in to grab a couple shirts for hubby ....so I said ,"Welp, I might as well go look at the shoe clearance rack ,while you painfully look for the shirts you want right??" Believe it or not , I found a pair of adidas on clearance in the youth section just under this sign that said , TAKE AN ADDITIONAL 50% OFF AT REGISTER . OF COURSE I grabbed the shoes and then hubby to go check out. When we got to the next open register ,there was Bryn with her kind smile ,... she walked us through the sign up for a Kohls card and was the most helpful, patient little GEM whom I am grateful for. Moral of the story (rant)really...... Sometimes it's the smallest things or things we think aren't that big of deal,that make someone write a positive review or makes us want to return there to shop even. So many people HATE their jobs and it shows!!!! It shows in their attitude It shows with their lack of patience It shows in their frown It shows in their huffs & puffs CUSTOMER SERVICE jobs are hard, I get that , I know from experience..... but sometimes you gotta fake it till you make it .
