They also have items that are not activewear, but are "Colorado casual" in style. They had an awesome 50% off sale and I walked out with three beautiful items including a striped long sleeve shirt and a beige 100% wool long sweater with warm colored stripes, both of which look different than anything I've seen for purchase online or in any other stores. I also got a nice pair of green khaki shorts I can wear hiking or as every day casual digs. The sweater is so beautiful and warm with high quality wool that doesn't itch. I think it's my new favorite item in my wardrobe. The lady working there was very friendly and there to help if needed.

The dynamic salesperson was so beyond friendly, we had such a great time talking to her! They have a plethora of useful, and most importantly, sustainable & ethically produced, goods for men, women, and children. Actually, no sale items except 1 casual dress (which I bought!). In our chatting we discovered that the owner is a lovely woman who is married to a fellow Chicagoan and owner of the store next door to this one. We couldn't resist stopping into his store for a chat. He was equally lovely and we had a great time with him. His store is larger and offers more and different product including athletic wear and shoes. Between the two stores you are sure to find something that you need or want!

You will likely even be greeted by someone dressed head to toe in cowboy attire. There's a sense of charm to that. There's a video running on a loop that tells you a bit about the history, too.

I do NOT recommend this place to anyone. I purchased a pair of earrings for $85 and was so excited…read moreabout them. However, when I tried to put them on in the car, I realized they were too large for my earring holes. I immediately went back to the boutique to request a refund, only to be told that they don't offer refunds--just exchanges. I did look around and there was nothing else that I really wanted. There were no visible signs or notices anywhere in the store indicating their no-refund policy, so I asked if they could make an exception since I was from out of town. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the employee called the business owner while I was standing there and proceeded to discuss me in front of my face, saying things like, "Why didn't she try them on in the store?" First of all, I've never heard of trying on earrings before purchasing--not only is this unsanitary, but it's also incredibly unhygienic and unreasonable. The entire experience was beyond disappointing. The staff's attitude was rude and unprofessional. I would strongly advise thinking twice before shopping here!!

I hate posting these and want to be clear that the way we were treated by one staff member is…read moreprobably not a reflection of the owner or other staff. Our family went in to shop and my 4 1/2 year old picked up one of those little plastic snow globe type things and shook it to see the glitter fly around. He felt something wet and "Pokey" on it and panicked and dropped it. It shattered the floor. My husband apologized and so did my son to the front staff and asked for supplies to clean it which we did. My son apologized and tried to explain what happened. We thought that was the end of it but when the 6 of us were checking out with all our stuff I noticed my total amount was much higher than my math and so I asked the prices again. She said (right in front of my son) "The price is correct but he broke something so you'll be paying for it". To say that her demeanor was professional or kind would be a MAJOR stretch. My son of course becomes upset. I can completely understand that if people go in and break things even by accident a shop has every legal right to make sure it is paid for however this item was defective when he picked it up. We were lucky it didn't cut him. To sneak it into my purchase without a word and then be rude to a 4 year old is just gross. My husband ended up paying for it and we left the other 10 items behind. I will never return and will never recommend this shop to anyone after this.
