He and one of his teammates Virgil came out and determined that the problem was deep rooted and actually did begin outside and unfortunately did require the inside service to be changed as well. He assembled his team and knocked this project out in a day and a half. Each and every one of his team were kind and professional throughout the project. This call was for our home in the Old Village in Mt. Pleasant. Clearly there is an "agenda" when visiting a home verses a business. I had them out to change two light fixtures and one light switch. The appointment began by the technician walking through my house and telling me I needed all of my smoke detectors replaced (they were replaced one year ago), and all of my light switches replaced. He gave me an estimate of over $7,000. I said, let's stick to the plan of replacing the two fixtures and the one light switch. The fixtures went fine. On to the light switch. After much commotion, I checked to see what was going on, which is when I saw they had removed my ceiling light. He showed me the switch replacement fixed the problem but said maybe I wanted to replace the light while it was down. I said the original light was fine since the light switch replacement fixed the problem of the light intermittently working. He ignored my request and put up the "new" light which was terrible, and I told him absolutely not, that I wanted my original light back in place. After walking out to the truck and back into my house about three times, he admitted he broke my light. I asked him how he suggested he would fix the problem and he said I could go to the store and buy a light I preferred and he would install it. But there would be an additional price for removing my light (which I never wanted removed!) and installing the new light (which I would also have to buy!) I believe the quote was around $1800 plus whatever the cost of the light fixture. I said this was not a solution and asked to speak to his boss. He refused to give me his number ("it is against policy to pass along any phone numbers" is the line I got). I was so frustrated I paid for the install of the lights and replacement switch and asked him to leave. I reached out to the company and never heard anything back. I am left with a completely inadequate closet light which I now have to replace and find a competent and trustworthy electrician to install.
