Yesterday morning, I woke to an very heated home on a 90+ degree day. I called around, read reviews, and came across Preferred. From customer service to dispatch to service technician....EVERYONE was above exemplary in their approach to my concerns. Josh, was the service technician that served the moment. He took care to inform of foreseeable concerns, but admitted that even through his diagnostics couldn't narrow what triggered my issue. What could've been a very expensive call was minimally fiscally conservative in its service charge. The system was running again very shortly. And this morning, I rose to the comfort I have grown accustomed. PREFERRED is now my preferred HVAC/plumbing go to and I elected their PPP maintenance option. Worst experience ever…read more They were more interested in selling us things than fixing the problem. Turns out The problem was them. They were to change lightbulbs outside the house. They said our cans were bad. Turns out they put the lightbulbs in so tight that it pushed the tab that signals light to come on.

Had previously had them sell and install a Briggs and Stratton generator. I called and asked them…read moreto pull a general maintenance on the generator. After the may was completed. The oil was changed and a little tinkering was done in about an hours time. They charged me $1000 for this small job. I called the owner and asked why he had charged such an outran out of money. He said he didn't make a big enough profit on the sale. He was going to make me pay to make up for what he didn't make on the sale. Then to top it off, the tech came and returned my keys, stating that in order for me to save time they left the locking mechanism unlocked. This didn't seem right and U talked to someone and he said he would come out and get the lock to work. This man did show up and bent the metal frame back into place and got the lock to work. Mr. Sparky sent an a Accomplished technician to work on my generator and couldn't even figure out a simple way of locking my generator. Makes you wonder how bad it was that they had overcharged me abundantly and then didn't have the foggy ass of how to lock the door of the generator I would never send a person that is elderly to deal with these people. It's almost like they have a gun to your head.
