Our service provider was Wilson's 24 Hour Towing out of Crawfordsville, IN. They were very helpful, friendly and courteous. The Dispatcher was more helpful than the AAA representative (and she did a good job), but this guy was top notch. Our driver, Craig, was very helpful and friendly. It was good to be in the company of a fellow Marine Corps Veteran, and he knew how to get our minds off of our car drama and just connect with my wife and I like human beings. I'm a High School Principal and my wife is a Human Resources Executive and I'm telling you that this guy has great interpersonal skills. He could literally run for political office. We made it home safely, thanks to Craig and Wilson's 24 Hour Towing. I'm also a Wabash College Alum, and it good to throw some business to a Crawfordsville establishment. I went back in my call logs since you said you could not find it. We were trying to get to work on night shift it was our Saturday but our call to wilsons was around 9 pm. It was absolutely a man and very disrespectful man at that. From the way we were treated for being Hispanic I would venture to say your man representing your company is a racist. We speak English and he understood he just refused to help us 2 times. I wish I had a recorder and I would prove it to you folks. We called 2 times that night begging for help all we got was rude, racist and disrespectful. This thing honestly was surprising considering have heard good things about Wilsons. But I'm thinking possibly those people got a different operator or they more likely they were not hispanic.i guess we will never know but you sir have a problem working and representing you.

They called every day to update me on the progress and get permission for repairs that were found once they started taking everything apart. Not only does my car run better than I can remember, but they charged for the time they actually spent to repair it, not just the standard labor hours that it usually takes. When I came to pick the car up, they showed me all of the parts that they changed, explained why they needed to be changed, and went over every item on the invoice. They also told me about a few items that should be repaired in the future but didn't do it this time because they knew I was on a budget and explained why they weren't "need to do now" items. Excellent service, very nice, and very reasonably priced (quite possibly the best prices in town). I'll definitely be returning for any future issues.

He confirmed he had approval for the deal with the manager and matched the terms. I drove an hour to see it three days later on our confirmed time, today July 27th at 10am. I thanked him for pinning it all down as I would have my kids with me and needed to sign and drive. When we got there, the 2026 new Atlas was not washed. I found two scratches. He said it would be detailed after I signed "if the deal worked out." I reminded him we had already worked the deal out. First red flag. He expected me to sign on the dotted line before seeing the Atlas clean. We went to his desk and he didnt remember anything about our agreed upon deal. I showed him our texts. He said he needed to run it through his manager. I reminded him he already did that. 15 minutes later, Ostin showed up with a much higher apr than what Joel said I was approved for. But he said his middle name was my first name so that was cool? Joel had given me confirmation for 5% on 72 months while Ostin showed me 8.74. I repeated that the terms were agreed upon before I drove up. Im not new to buying cars - he was padding the apr to make money. "It's only $16 more a month" he said. That amounts to $1500 over 72 months. I said I needed to stay at $400/month and the best they now said they could do was $478. While Ostin and Joel went to "check again" I called the lender and was told I qualified for 4.99. Which I already knew. I asked for my keys and said I wasnt moving forward. They argued with me in front of my kids and did the "is there anything we can do to make this work" routine. I reminded them we had already settled the terms and they had already ran my credit three days prior- 820 trans union credit score. Terms and pricing were agreed to on the trade and the purchase. Two more times I had to ask for my keys. They think if they hold the keys they've got you trapped. Dealerships everywhere need to stop this practice. It doesnt win you business playing psychological games. As I drove back to Indy, Joel texted me claiming I never mentioned my payment terms, the apr or that everything was settled and ready for me to pick up the Atlas. See attached texts. He tried to het me to come back and said he just "wants to move metal." Im getting another Atlas, minus the deceptive tactics of showing a dirty car to hide flaws and at the terms I knew I was already approved for. But I do hope this young man learns something from this. Honor matters. Your word - matters. Spoiler alert: they will respond with "we are so sorry we failed to meet your expectations" and lie about the situation.

Their ETA was 1 1/2 to 2 hours, which was understandable given the distance and timing. However, 2 1/2 hours later they had not showed up and it was then after midnight. I called their direct line 3-4 times. They did not answer, and their voice mail box was full. Luckily we were able to get another tow, much quicker. The Boys Roadside had ZERO customer service for my awful dilemma. I would give them zero stars or even try to take away stars from them if Yelp would allow it. DO NOT USE THEM!!
