Probably the best vet experience I have ever had. My dog was seriously injured and Murphy Veterinary Hospital got me an immediate appointment and got my dog the care he needed (same day) for a great price. I highly recommend Murphy Veterinary Hospital and I will definitely be getting care for both of my dogs here.

She is very understanding and always answers any questions you may have, and if she doesn't have the answer she will find it and get back to you. I am so grateful to the team at [Friendship Veterinary] for their incredible kindness and thoughtfulness. After my beloved bunny, Twinkie passed on 3/21/26 under the care of another clinic, (my bunny had GI stasis and had to visit the ER hospital in niceville since this happened over the weekend) they sent a heartfelt letter of condolences and flowers. Their compassion and understanding during such a difficult time meant the world to me. They treated Twinkie like family, not just a pet, and I will always be grateful for their caring hearts. I would highly recommend Friendship Veterinary to anyone with pets especially exotic animals! Thank you once again.

I've been going there for almost 7 years and in the beginning it was great. The front desk staff is amazing. I have never had an issue with any of the vets, until, Dr Matheson!!! I have had a very sick dog for a month! I put a call in to Dr Mathison 2 weeks ago! She has yet to call us back. I called the next day because we had not heard from her. she was off for 2 days so we were put in touch with Dr Real. He is a great vet! very kind. Forward 2 weeks. Still dealing with a sick dog. I Called yesterday ant 8:27 AM and unfortunately Dr Real is on vacation so the receptionist said she would have Dr Mathison call us. Still nothing!!! My dog is sick! She knows this because she has been involved the entire time with the situation . We have run every test they have asked us to. Still no solution. Called and spoke to the receptionist this morning because we never heard back from Dr Mathison and she informed me that they have 72 hours to return your call. So, if your animal is really sick, 72 hours could be the difference between life, and death. Also, we put a call in to her 2 weeks ago and still haven't heard back from her from the first call!! Im not saying I wouldn't recommend Friendship because I'm sure the other vets are good but I ABSOLUTELY would not take a sick fish to Dr Mathison!!! She obviously doesn't understand just how important people's animals are to them. I will be looking for another vet. I think the way she handled this situation is unacceptable and she should perhaps learn the meaning of compassion!! I will also be contacting Corporate as they should be made aware. This experience is completely unacceptable and could have turned out so differently with just a phone call!! One single phone call!!!

The results showed a mixture of cancer cells, inflammation, and fatty tissue, and I was referred to Veterinary Surgery Services for further surgery. From my very first phone call to schedule the consultation through the post-surgery follow-up, the level of care I received was nothing short of exceptional. The entire team was professional, compassionate, organized, and incredibly supportive. During the consultation, the surgeon took the time to explain everything thoroughly, making sure I understood the procedure, the possible outcomes, and what to expect. One thing I especially appreciated was their transparency. Instead of giving me a vague estimate, they provided a clear, all-inclusive price with no surprises. Anyone who has a beloved pet knows how emotional this kind of situation can be. My dog is much more than a pet--he is my companion and family. Throughout the entire process, every single person I interacted with made me feel heard, supported, and genuinely cared for. The best news came during surgery. Once they removed and examined the mass, they discovered it was not cancer after all--it was fatty tissue. I cannot describe the relief I felt. They called me the very same day with the wonderful news, and because my that, I was able to bring him home that afternoon instead of the following day. I want to sincerely thank everyone--from the staff who answered my phone calls, the veterinary intern, the assistant, and especially the surgeon. Every interaction reflected kindness, professionalism, honesty, and genuine compassion. In all the places I've lived throughout my life with dogs, I can honestly say this is the most professional veterinary surgical practice I have ever encountered. The facility is immaculate, the communication is outstanding, and the entire team treats both pets and their owners with incredible respect and empathy. Now I completely understand why people travel from other states to receive care here. I will forever be grateful that my veterinarian referred us to Veterinary Surgery Services. If your pet ever needs surgery, I cannot recommend this team highly enough. They not only took exceptional care of my dog--they also took care of me during one of the most stressful experiences a pet owner can face. Thank you for giving my baby fur the opportunity to enjoy many more happy years by my side.

First, they only do the procedure in the late afternoon. Our dog was old, and we knew the time would come when we would have to out her to sleep. However, the last couple days were bad. She deteriorated quickly. When we made the decision to euthanize her, waiting all day for the procedure was emotionally taxing. The worst part was when we arrived for our 4:30 appointment. Due to COVID procedures, they were doing the euthanasia in the car. No issues. The issue was we waited 1 hour and 10 minutes - 70 minutes AFTER our appointment - for the vet to finally come out to euthanize our family dog. It made a bad situation so much worse. Of course, the clinic will blame COVID, but 70 minutes! Come on. Like I said, we just moved to the area. I won't be able to give positive recommendations for pet care, but I can certainly tell people where NOT to take their animals.

Once I got him stable and he was old enough, Brightman did his neutering and shots. They were more expensive than other places I called, but they really took good care of him. He was checked for FIV and other disease he may have picked up before we rescued him. They also offered pain meds to him which I thought was really great because all of the other places I called said male cats do not need pain control. Blackberry ended up needing some! Can you imagine being fixed and NOT having pain control? He was meowing a lot and trying to lick himself where he was injured - I realize that is normal but it's because they are uncomfortable. No reason to make your furamily member suffer! Unless that is how you treat all your kids? Lol. I hope not! In the office the sell some really great candles for pet odor control. They are pricy but fantastic! Green Apple is very fresh smelling and does not trigger my migraines or my son's asthma like many scents do. I have called in MANY questions and concerns and they were all answered promptly and with professionalism. We will go back to this clinic as needed and I would recommend to anyone. Remember, the cheapest is NOT the number one thing to look for when booking your pet's surgery (spay or neuter)!!! If you cannot afford to have your animal safely fixed you probably annoy afford your animal. Pets are family members and family members get sick. Getting sick can get expensive fast! Make responsible choices and find a vet you can trust like Brightman!

She is a 10 year old who has been groomed regularly her entire life with only one incident of injury (a cut in between her paw pads). All groomers have consistently praised her for being a sweet dog and a pleasure to groom. Dropping her off found facility appearance and greeting was pleasant. When I picked her up the owner advised my dog was kind of squirmy during grooming. Immediately upon returning home she began persistent licking and chewing all over her body and it was obvious that either her skin was very irritated or she had possibly picked up some fleas. Upon inspecting her I found she had multiple clipper burns on her belly and on the insides of her rear legs. Also noted her hair cut was pretty choppy and overall it did not appear she had been groomed by an experienced professional. After 5 days of the constant licking and chewing I took her to the veterinarian to see if it could be determined what was causing such terrible irritation. Vet believed she was having an allergic reaction possibly to the shampoo as when she examined her closely found raw spots all over her body but no visible evidence of fleas so she put her on a 15 day course of prednisone. Now after 7 days of prednisone she is much better. Vet expressed that maybe she shouldn't be groomed there anymore. Based on the poor quality of cut, multiple clipper burns and such serious skin irritation I don't believe we will be using this groomer again.
