They were so compassionate and kind during the procedure and it was easy to tell it affected them almost as much as us. Their cost is affordable which helps because I have 2 busy Boxers that get into things they shouldn't. They even offer a military discount, which is amazing too! Given that the new drop-off policy was implemented and shared with the rescue organization last October, why did staff continue scheduling vet appointments? There is a clear breakdown in communication if the office manager informed the rescue group but failed to notify staff and foster parents. The office manager's miscommunication, yet again, was frustrating, as we couldn't accommodate two separate visits on our busy schedule. Regarding our final appointment on March 20, 2026, we received a phone call at 9:35 AM--just 25 minutes prior--instructing us to drop off our dog to be 'worked in.' Despite your claims, I have records of numerous scheduled appointments since October, and we were never told to drop him off. To summarize my feedback: Neither I nor your staff, who scheduled my appointments, were informed of your October 2025 policy change until March 20, 2026. PS: We were very pleased with the clinical staff; however, our experience was marred by the unprofessional behavior of your office manager. *************** Comment from Ms. Office Manager: "We're sorry to hear that your experience felt frustrating, and we appreciate the opportunity to clarify. However, there have been notable issues with office management, particularly regarding conflicts with the rescue organization. The differing accounts from both parties have created confusion. During a scheduled visit to the Spanish Trail office, I was informed I needed to leave one of our foster pups for the day, which was unexpected. The receptionist claimed this was requested by the rescue for diagnosis and approval (lie #1). My wife called the rescue while I was there and the rescue confirmed this was false. The rescue did not approve of leaving the pups, as it could cause them stress. I returned to the receptionist, explaining that the rescue had not requested this, and asked her to consult the doctor for clarification. She later informed me that Pam, the clinic manager, stated it was a mutual agreement between Spanish Trail and the rescue for the dog to stay for the day (lie#2). After leaving our foster dog there, a short time later the office manager spoke with the rescue president on the phone and informed her this was a new policy for Spanish Trail that all area rescues will need to leave their dogs for the day. So, in all actuality, this is lie #3 as the rescue never requested their dogs stay for the day, nor was it a mutual agreement between Spanish Trail and the rescue but it was Spanish Trails "new" policy. This wasn't communicated before scheduling, which we found unprofessional along with the actions of the office managers lack of honesty and integrity. Due to this unpleasant experience, we won't use or recommend their services. Like the adage goes, one bad apple spoils the whole bunch.

A teeth exam I can not get a good look at the inside of your dog's mouth may result in hidden painful tooth decay and rotting teeth this is not a total exam. Any lump you feel that a veteran can not feel doesn't mean their is no lump it means your veterinarian isn't doing a thorough enough job. Lots of talk and questions while they so called examined my dog. I have been ignored and blown off when I have detailed what was concerning me. They did not sit down with me to go over blood work that would have given me a heads up to exactly what the changes meant or could mean later on in your dogs life when it is too late to say we actually have a problem here. They did not go over the results or show me images of x rays of my dog I didn't get the chance to any ask questions regarding them. They did not go over the ultra sound images to show if their were any indications of abnormalities Red or Blue markers Or chance to ask any question. A recent visit to the vets office I was asked if I minded being recorded I did not mind I think it a valuable tool I think a quick look into the pets past history should be a given. since we are paying big bucks for these services we deserve to be given all the information they have on our pets and not what they think is a need to know basis. As humans we expect our our physicians to share any results with us. As the prices are going sky hi the quality of care and skill of some veterinarians is falling it is failing our precious animals I can at first attain to this. The complaint is being sent to Lillian Vet and filed as of today. Lillian Vet charged me almost $200 that did not include any tests or treatment except for a "free sample" of revolution plus and turned us away. The vet who treated her charged me $138 for a full exam, fecal test, two medications, a bag of food and two cans of wet food for while she is healing and they clipped her nails just to be nice. Lillian Vet was fine with letting her suffer, it's just a money grab it's not about the animals and their care at all. It's gross

Murphy Veterinary Hospital took 5 days to give me my dog's pcr test results, even though I was told…read morethat I'll get his results the next day. I took my dog in last Thursday and I was supposed to get the results of the test on Friday. I waited for a call on Friday, but never received a call. I later found out that the results did come out on Friday, but they didn't notify me. I talked with some customer service representative type of lady (not front desk) on Tuesday and she said they couldn't give me the results and medicine on Friday since the doctor was out at the other branch. If that was the case, they shouldn't have told me I would get the results the next day. Also, they should've communicated that information with me. Instead I waited Friday and the weekend (since they are closed) and then called on Monday, only to be told the doctor would call me. Today? Tomorrow? When? Meanwhile, my dog is supposed to suffer because of the doctor's rotation schedule? After i called back again on Tuesday, they claimed they were going to call me and instructed me to come pick up the meds. We ended up waiting 5 days for only 3 days worth of meds. Had they notified me when they said they would, my dog would be fine by now. I used to like this place because the doctors and receptionists were friendly and nice to my dog. But the "system" and the poor customer service over the last 5 days have made me very unhappy with this business.
