My best friend introduced me to Shea Cheese and I think I am now their biggest fan…read more I love cheese and supporting small businesses, so this was the perfect marriage. I have visited twice (so far!) and been thoroughly impressed. With my first visit, my bestie and I shared a two-person sized board with no meat, so maximum cheese. We were able to sample the cheeses before committing them to a spot on our board. The team at Shea Cheese paired our selections with other charcuterie items to make a perfect grazing board. We also spilt the turkey and brie sandwich. The sandwich was paired with the most delicious kettle chips as well. For my second visit, I went with the pizza grilled cheese (sans olives) and got a pimento cheese sandwich to go for my mother. We were both beyond pleased with our grub. Of note, right next door to Shea Cheese is Shea Lounge, which is a little bookstore and lounge to enjoy your cheesy items. I am beyond impressed by this spot and am already looking forward to my next visit.

The event was a visit to Proof Bakery to see how the dough is *literally* made before heading back to Shea Cheese for the tasting. It was also BYOB. Overall, we had a great time. The space was cute and intimate, and the tasting was plentiful. They did open up the shop after the event too, so we were able to buy some deli meats and a bottle of natty wine. Their food menu looked soooo yummy, I look forward to coming back for lunch and for another event. Shea Cheese is a small business, owned by a couple who ensured that the experience was awesome. I definitely recommend stopping by and checking out their cookbook collection too. My only critique for the tasting was that they included a pimento cheese, which they make, that has mayo in it. I personally would've preferred they added one of their more unique options instead as neither my mom or I ate that part of the board (mostly due to the mayo).

We all got the lunch special which is a half sandwich with either salad or soup for $13.50. I got the blue cow grilled cheese and tomato soup. What a delicious sandwich! It had roast beef, a jam, pepper relish, havarti and blue cheese. It was really tasty and just the right amount of blue cheese to be tasty and not overwhelming. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal though I will say the person who got the brie, fig jam and prosciutto one was especially happy!

Stopped in today to order a charcuterie board for a wine tasting at my house in a couple of nights…read more I had heard about mingle and graze and sampled a number of their amazing cheeses when I was at wine tastings at Spin The Bottle right around the corner. This is a husband and wife team that manage and own both places. While standing at the counter, deciding what charcuterie board I was going to order I took a quick look at their menu and boy does it look good. Hummus boards, salads, and sandwiches. All freshly made in this little café, which is small but charming there is an outdoor patio with like four tables , but it's far too hot this summer to eat out there. For sure I'll be back in the fall out there with Luna enjoying this wonderful café. I was there with my daughter and what caught her eye was the muffaletta sandwich. A classic I couldn't get past the menu, grilled cheese sandwich, options, and asked the owner what was her favorite and recommendation. She immediately said the grilled cheese with birria and I think a Gouda cheese. We grabbed one of the booths and the sandwiches were out shortly. OMG, they both were unbelievable, but I had trouble keeping my daughter's hand off my plate. Honestly, this is one of the best grilled cheese I've ever had. And I consider myself a grilled cheese aficionado. Mingle & Graze is in a central downtown Chandler location, lots of parking out front. Love these little non-chain cafés with great homemade food that's different and original. I highly recommend you check out this place and when the weather is a bit nicer, order some food and sit out on the patio with a nice bottle of wine curated from Spin The Bottle. What a great spot

I'm not sure if the staff was having an off day, but he didn't seem to want to be there. Oh well. I was there for the vegan cheese. I served the sampler for the holidays. In it guests reported the pepper jack was tasty and spicy. (I'm excited to see the meltability for Mexican dishes.) The smoked Gouda was smooth and smoky. The white cheddar had good flavor, but a bit of an aftertaste. The winner for me was the lemon dill. It replaced a holiday favorite that I can no longer eat and it made my holiday to be able to have a traditional type treat my palate and stomach enjoyed. I plan to try the goat style and blue cheese next time I'm in town.

I've been a customer for a few years and the products just have been getting better and better! This shop is open Wednesday- the weekend, which I can understand being such a fan... but I wish it was always open! Eh it just makes me hanker for the cheese when it's not open and I wait for the weekend.. Then I go down to Clarkdale I bring my cooler and I stock up! Jodi's created some neat new cheeses one I was extremely impressed with was the Parmesan wheel. Wow incredible, I believe it's been aged. It's so amazing what a chef can do to nuts, seeds, and plant based items- I don't think anyone misses dairy when I bring the rounds to a party! What are you waiting for! Go get some virgin cheese!

Despite my reservations, the new Cheese n Stuff kept its original charm with an updated interior and renewed commitment to sandwich excellence! While the sandwiches aren't aesthetically beautiful, the flavor packs a punch! Today, we decided to give this small, old sub shop a try. There is no real inside dining and prodimantly a grab and go stop. A decent line formed inside. We ordered the Manhattan special with double pastrami, slaw, thousand island dressing and Swiss cheese on a hoagie roll. The other sandwich was pastrami with Swiss cheese. The meats are Boar's Head and served cold. The sandwiches were ok, not overwhelming or huge flavor bombs. The prices are reasonable and obviously a long-time sandwich shop in midtown Phoenix must be doing something right. I don't feel the need to return and try them again. Cheese and Stuff is a staple for the neighborhood high schoolers. Give them a try and draw your own conclusion.
