Very friendly staff selling high quality meats. They are there to answer questions or help you with your order. I went to pick up an order for a neighbor. He is a regular here and was able to call his order in. Since I was in the neighborhood I offered to pick it up for him. He called the store to let them know. This is a great place if you're tired of the 'select' grade meats from grocery stores. Good quality with custom cuts to fit your needs. Or buy a larger piece and cut your own. Got a pork belly here and made bacon for the first time. We particularly enjoy their dog food and our dog loves it. The problem was it would spoil before she could eat an entire container, so I came up with the pictured process. Every evening when she eats the last piece for that day in her kibble dinner, I just get out two more frozen pieces, put them in the container, and throw it in the fridge. This place was becoming my go to spot for meats coming from Anthem. The quality of meat is great. Prices are a little high especially $21.99 a lb for carne asada. Service has always been great except today. I was asking the lady behind the counter a few questions about their burgers because I was trying to determine what kind of patties I had before from their store because they turned out great off the grill and I thought they may had been mixed with something other than ground beef. Well for some reason the woman told me it's not "rocket science" as she described the patties. I was definitely surprised by this response and very disappointed because I did like this place prior to a rude response like that. I'm not an expert on meats but I am a customer and I do believe good customer service is not rocket science as well so unfortunately I will have to look for another butcher shop after this experience. read more

I've given this place a shot twice, and both times left disappointed. The store is twice the size it needs to be for the limited offerings they have available, and the selection is weak at best. Today I see that they're hosting Qanon candidate for governor, Kari Lake, and that's the limit for me. Wwwwwwwwow! Just wow. I went out for some good hanger steaks today and have heard good things about this business so I figured I'd go visit. First impression was one of overwhelming quality. The store is clean enough to be a surgery center and the products within are far and away above what you can find at a grocery store. As an Italian, it reminded me of the places my dad used to take when I was a kid to find the best quality meats. The hanger steaks were perfect. There is nothing I can fault. See for yourself in the photos. Made some teriyaki sauce on the stovetop and cooked them on my grill. Absolute heaven. read more

I checked out this Butcher as it's reasonably local. The meat is clearly superior to supermarket meats, but so are the prices, so my review is based upon quality vs price, and by that measure I feel it's fair / ok / good, but no more. Nothing wrong with that, decent meat at fair prices. They have an interesting selection of rubs and sauces. The staff are friendly and helpful. Easy parking outside. If you live within reasonable range, I'd certainly recommend it. read more

This is a treasure in Cave Creek! I love that this is an old-fashioned butcher shop. I am so happy with everything we bought there. The prices seem very reasonable and the product is way better than what you would get at Walmart. Linsey and her team are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about there product. Great little butcher shop with all kinds of great meats and a separate section of bones, etc. for furry friends! We had a Chicago hot dog and an Italian beef, both great. I was looking at the prices of sirloin, flank steak and a few other items and they really don't look like they're more than Costco's USDA prime, so next time I want great cuts of meat I'm going there. Very friendly people, asking you if it's your first time in, a menu that changes all the time If you want food, and absolutely spotless.
