While Dr Royce Meyers (Founder of Murrieta Chiropractic) was active at this location, chiropractic healthcare was of high quality. Once he left California, and Chris Banuelas assumed the Murrieta Chiropractic services, the high quality of healthcare dropped exponentially. In August 2018, during an adjustment with Chris Banuelas, he pulled my neck, twice, in an unprecedented manner, my lumber was negatively affected. I was confined to reclining chairs for 3 weeks 24/7. I've not been well since. Seven years I've suffered, I suffer with chronic lumbar pain and associated discomfort. I don't believe Banuelas is a principled chiropractor, nor did he care for my wellbeing as Dr.Meyers had. BEWARE! read more

I'm in Murrieta recovering from knee replacement surgery (less than 3 weeks ago). As if that wasn't bad enough, a rib popped out of place in my back over the weekend - pain was excruciating, couldn't sleep, couldn't move. Yelped "Chiropractors near me" and Murrieta Chiropractic topped the list and is a mile away. Called at 8:30 Monday AM, got an appointment for two hours later. After a short wait and minimal paperwork, I was shown to a treatment room and Dr. Chris Branuelas came in. I've had the "rib out of place" thing many times, and Dr. Chris shared his first experience with this - as a patient while he was in the Navy, and it was first misdiagnosed as a possible heart attack. Knowing how painful it is, he has become very adept at identifying and treating it. He found the spot in about ten seconds by feel, and very gently, being mindful of my knee, he adjusted my upper back, and then my neck. The relief was immediate, and I was more than grateful. Because he had noted that I have asthma (from the forms I filled out, which he obviously had reviewed before seeing me), he shared that poor breathing techniques can be a factor in ribs popping out of place. So we spent a few minutes going over some breathing exercises that can help lessen the chances of recurrence (you want to use your abdomen instead of your chest). I've never had a chiropractor take the time to do that. That was very revealing to me as to what kind of chiropractor is Dr. Chris Branuelas - knowledgeable, skilled, compassionate and caring. I took my 17-year-old son there yesterday due to a back injury from running. My son was in extreme pain missing school, sports, and couldn't even drive. Three times this place has charged me extra even though my insurance has a $10 copay. I should have stayed away after my first visit here 2 years ago. I was in a car accident and the person who hit me was paying for my medical expenses. This office charged double their regular price because they knew someone else's insurance was covering it. I just talked to my insurance and they charged my insurance 2 times for one visit. I was told by United Healthcare that I should not have been charged twice for one visit. Imagine that! Wanted to update my status as a patient of Dr. Meyers and all I can say is I feel like a new man!! It's been quite a few years to when I first walked in to the office and barely walking in at that. My first time in I was locked up so bad I could barely get in and out of the car I was so hurt, but Dr. Meyers was unfazed by this and got right to work. My first month I was coming in 4-5 times a week and here I am today recovering most of the time from tightness all on my own with the tips Dr. Meyers has passed on to me and now I just come in for maintenance and normal adjustments I can't even remember the last time I was seriously "locked up" but I'm better than ever able to work out run(if I have too)but overall just happy to feel like myself. read more
