I love the friendly service here over all others & the early bird drop off has helped so much when my work schedule keeps me from a weekend service. They are a very understanding establishment that calls you directly if they become aware of any concerns with your vehicle. The location is between car dealerships on ynez & you could stay in the lobby while you wait on vehicle to be serviced or walk/uber to the mall to wait. They are efficient & quick with services like oil changes/smog checks. I used to purchase tires here, but I am not sure if this is something they still provide since I haven't needed tires recently. Just a heads up, but this place has closed or moved…read more Unfortunately for me, they messed up my mom's wheelchair van when they installed the new transmission. I only found out how bad of a job they did once I took the van to a mobility dealer for routine maintenance. They had to drop the subframe to install the transmission, and when they put the subframe back on they overtorqued the bolts and incorrectly installed the spacers. So now I have to have a body shop re-weld new nuts onto the subframe, costing me thousands of dollars. So, if they are magically still around, I would love to know!

I messaged Kevin (the owner) on Yelp, and he was incredibly helpful. He communicated with me directly and assured me that they could simply splice and repair the damaged wires instead of forcing me to buy a whole new harness. When I arrived, his son Alex took great care of me. He handled the repair perfectly, removing the damaged section, soldering in fresh wire, and re-wrapping it with heat shrink for a proper, permanent fix. The warning light is gone, the car runs perfectly, and I saved over $3,200 compared to the dealer's quote! It is so rare to find honest mechanics who will actually fix things rather than just swapping expensive parts. When it failed and l…read morecame to Yelp looking for the dealership, l saw the abysmal ratings for Honda of Temecula and said ehhh l think not. So l turned to Yelp and found Affordable Auto Repair. Jerry is who helped me. I called and he told me to bring in the car and he would take a look. Right after opening the hood there was a rat's nest. Not a good sign. He ran the diagnostic on it to see why the smog failed. He also said l went to a reputable smog business (thanks again, Yelpers!) so he asked to see the paperwork to narrow down the issue. It ended up taking more time but Jerry didn't give up. Nor did he charge me for anything. He was honest, reliable, and even lost money by having me eventually going to the dealership (though Lake Elsinore Honda) because my issue was covered under the warranty. All in all, the decorum, honesty and genuinely stellar business practices l experienced here will have me coming for all my future maintenance. In fact, I have an appointment for an oil change and a tire rotation scheduled for next week. Thank you Jerry for the exemplary service you gave to my car and the honest care of my welfare. I was in a pickle for time so I did a real quick YELP search and came across Anthony at ProAuto. The review from the guy that says he comes all the way from SD to see Anthony, really stood out. I called immediately and arranged an appt for an oil change, rotation of tires, engine and cabin filter replacement, and a brake inspection. I do not want to deal with dealerships if I don't have to. This office was soooooo quiet, and calming. Overall, I really appreciated Anthony and the work he performed on our car. I will teach my Grandson where he needs to go when he needs service. That was until my fiancé met Anthony. We happened to both need oil changes and my car had a check engine light on, which I was dreading finding out what is was and what the cost will be. We took one car, had some lunch and hung out in the area then took mine when when it was ready. We got the call when mine was ready and found out what the check engine light was for; my gas cover was loose so he just tightened it. He could have said it was so many other things and taken advantage of that but he was honest. Pro Auto became out go for all car things and we won't look back.
