A few are still floating around, but not in the black color or size I wanted. I called several golf shops who didn't have any (or were not willing to look) and was even willing to drive from Menifee to Golf Mart in Escondido. I intentionally avoided Roger Dunn because I'd experienced being ignored by the staff last year--similar to what Charles D. described in his 7/26 review AND because of Charles D. review and others like it. After striking out everywhere else, I decided to give Roger Dunn one more chance. That's when I met Jacob, and everything changed. Jacob showed me the grips they had in stock (right color, wrong size), then immediately started working to solve the problem. He called another store that had a few of the grips and arranged to have them transferred to the Temecula store the very next day. When they arrived, they turned out to be the wrong color. No problem--Jacob spent another 15-20 minutes (insisted on) calling two more stores trying to track down exactly what I wanted. In the end, he couldn't find the exact match, so I had him install the grip that had been transferred. It was close enough, and I left happy. To the management and staff at Roger Dunn: this is what customer service looks like. You're one bad experience away from having someone drive from Menifee to Escondido just to buy a $12 golf grip or, you're one great employee away from selling a $500 used driver (sadly couldn't justify the expense) I discovered while Jacob was making calls. Jacob went the extra mile. He was professional, persistent, and genuinely cared about helping me find the right solution--even for a single $12 grip. Shout out to Jacob. Thank you Roger Dunn. I'll definitely be back.

They both have great knowledge and were a big help to this first-time gun buyer/owner. They let me handle a gun I was interested in, which is a cousin of the gun I ended up buying. Changing my order mid-process was painless. Bill as an ex-Marine has so much experience and a great rapport with his customers. I even got to see some of the unique challenge coins he has, something I'd never seen before in person. I learned a lot just by asking questions, and he recommended a great local outdoor range which I will very likely join. This alone will save me some money. I plan to order anything I can through their website to help our local store owner, especially ammo and some accessories and extra mags. Although things can get a little busy when it's just one person working the shop and more than one customer, it's Shangri La compared to the madness of COVID when I was looking to buy a lower for an AR-15. Imagine twenty people in line before store opening (Los Angeles) or standing room only in other shops. I learned never to go to gun shops in a rush. Plus, I always have questions and value the knowledge I get from shop owners and even other customers. Contrast this with Turner's in Temecula and wow, I had to wait at least 30 minutes just to find out I couldn't buy ammo until I'd been through the 10-day wait period and background check. One gets much more personalized service with Brass and Bass. Bill even field-stripped my new gun to show me how it's done. The service just doesn't get much better.
