Why would I hire professionals to move my furniture that would refuse to do so? After arriving at our destination, they refused to unload the truck! We had to spend another $1600 on another company to unload it. They also did thousands of dollars in damage to our 100 yr old grand player piano, kept hardware for our refrigerator so we cannot reinstall the handles and claimed they couldn't do their job because the house was messy. Whose house isn't messy when moving? Bottom line is they did not fulfill the contract, refused to move many items at all, which still, months later, have still not been moved!

However, we did find one mover sitting on his phone on the job, and after they left we quickly realized they put more than half of the boxes in the wrong rooms. We provided directions as things were being brought off the truck and everything was labeled based on the room it should go to. Now, we are having to re-move boxes to different rooms and levels of the home. Also, many of our big electronic boxes were placed on the ground upside down. Again, they were clearly labeled. I raised this issue and the issue I had with the service fee included on the final invoice and a representative immediately got back to us to say he would call to discuss and that they love feedback, etc. BUT, it took nearly two weeks for him to call, and that was after he emailed us once to say he was too busy, and then we followed up to ask why they hadn't called yet. Once the call took place, they offered to reimburse us for a small portion of the bill, which was great and we were feeling better because we had been "heard" about our concerns, BUT it's been another two weeks and we have yet to see that reimbursement. Again, he said he is too busy to drop it off. We love to recommend different businesses to friends and family. Unfortunately, this won't be one of them.

If used, 2 hours would be $435 and 3 hours $590. We were ask to email pictures of the items to be moved. We set up a day and time for muscled Up Movers to arrive. They showed up on time and came inside to evaluate what was to be moved. The two gentlemen were very cordial and did a great job of wrapping up fragile items and moving them. We are very happy with their customer service and the great job they did moving furniture. If you need a moving service, call Muscled Up Movers. They do great work.

We hired Muscle Up Movers to move our furniture across the parking lot to a new apartment…read more Essentially two bedrooms a dining room and living room furniture and a few boxes. First off to say these guys moved SLOOOOOOW would be an understatement. It took them more than 5 hours with three guys. So did they need to take apart beds? Nope, this was all done for them before them before hand. Perhaps difficult access? Nope, the apartment was on the first floor. Between the frequent breaks, standing around and complaining we should have known that this company wasn't legit. But there's more, after they loaded up the truck rather than drive across the parking lot and unload, they needed to take a break...no kidding. Then returning to the same complex, they got lost. Yup lost and I needed to go and direct them back to the complex. The story doesn't end there, they damaged much of the furniture they moved...including a brand new leather sofa. Did they step up on the damage they caused? Nope. We've been going back and forth with their claims people for over a month. BTW- we checked out the address for the "Claims Department" and its a Tatoo Parlor. They wanted us to make a claim with the retailer that sold us the sofa rather than MUM stepping up. Then on a custom piece of art that they damaged they suggested that they could get a commercial frame from Etsy though the original piece is clearly a custom framed piece. MY ADVICE TO FOLKS CONSIDERING USING MUSCLE UP MOVERS...just burn your money instead. MUM is the WORST COMPANY we've ever dealt with, inclusive of online retailers etc. These folks are scum bags!

We have moved many…read moretimes in the military and post military and HMS was the best at planning the move, packing, loading and delivery. We used HMS for a long distance move and yes there were some items damaged as with all our moves they were by far the most efficient. I recommend HMS, they provide professional service and the employees are polite and helpful and take care with your goods. The loaders and unloaders worked hard and fast. It is a family run business and they provided us with boxes and packing material for the items we wanted to pack ourselves.
