I had the oddest experience here today. About 40 minutes before my scheduled appointment, someone called to ask if I could come early bc my stylist, Anyssa had a cancellation but by the end of the conversation she said never mind, your original time is best. Uh, ok. She then proceeded to ask what I wanted done. I'm thinking that's an odd question to ask as I'm getting ready to leave to go there. So I half-explained that it wouldn't be much but some refresh in color and a cut. Mind you, I scheduled for a full color and haircut. The woman on the phone said I'd need to come back for color if it needs to be lightened bc we won't have time but said she could do the haircut. I thought huh??? It made zero sense. I had been waiting weeks for this appointment and before I got there or before they even knew what it was I wanted, they were telling me they'd have to do another appt. for color. I was already unhappy at that point. When I got there, Anyssa had a friend or family member in her chair doing her hair so I'm assuming that's why I no longer needed to come early. While getting my hair washed, my stylist was talking about bar hopping tonight with the other girls who were leaving to go get ready and talking about what to wear. Anyssa was also talking about needing to get her nails done still. It seemed my appointment was getting cut short all so she could get ready for a night out at the bars. I had a 12:30 appt. on a Saturday! Like wtf is happening?! As if it couldn't get more unprofessional, Anyssa had her other coworker wash her hair next to me in a bowl while my toner is sitting. The alarm for my toner went off while she was still being conditioned. I have never experienced anything like this. Once I got back to the chair, Anyssa was telling her coworker to set up for her blow out after I leave. Like what?! She cut my hair while she had a towel on her head. You guys, it was the WEIRDEST experience! The friend eventually came back and sat down to wait for her to be done with me. It was clear they couldn't wait to shut that place down and turn it into a pregame/get ready turn-up or get the hell outta there. Anyssa tried to say what she'll do with my color at my next appt. No ma'am I will never be back. Seemed like a bunch of young girls who just wanted to push me out before I got there and were focused on the leather skirts they were going to wear to the bars. I had an appointment scheduled with Anyssa in February. After reading the review from Alison C. dated Jun 1, 2026 I felt that I needed to share my experience with Anyssa because it's an obvious pattern with her. People need to be aware of how unprofessional she is. I had an appointment for a haircut. I arrived 5 minutes early. Anyssa said that she was finishing up with her client but would be done soon. Anyssa was taking her time with her client as I sat there waiting. She wasn't even conversing with her client but was instead gossiping with another stylist about a stylist that had recently left the salon. After having waited 20 minutes another stylist sat me in a styling chair and said Anyssa would be with me soon. After waiting a TOTAL of 35 minutes (much too long!) from the time I arrived I told Anyssa that I was leaving. She immediately apologized and said she would be done soon and could cut my hair but there wouldn't be time to blow it out. My impression of Anyssa is that she has very little regard for her clients and their time. If you are going to be in a business that is client oriented then you should value your clientele - that should be your priority ... not openly gossiping about people or rushing clients out the door so you can hit the bars. read more

Love this salon! I originally came in for a haircut with Chantell. She did an amazing job so I asked about getting my color done. Our schedules didn't align so she recommended me to Megan Edgar. We had a consultation and booked an all-day appointment to get me from dark brown (almost black) to blonde. She's so personable and fun - the hours at the salon flew by! We got really light the first try, which I was really happy about. I knew it would be a process and multiple appointments to get me as light as I wanted. I came back for a second round about a month later and went uber blonde! Love, love, love! And a huge plus is that my hair still feels soft, even after going so light. I love how cute and comfy the salon is, and everyone is so nice. I also appreciate that there are no issues with referring to other stylists. I've loved my experiences with both Chantell and Megan E! I had haircut and deep conditioning treatment done by Anyssa today. I really had worst experience ever. I asked her to cut my hair to below shoulder length but did really short like bob. And while cutting hair she dropped comb and then she lift comb from the floor and tried to use in my hair when I asked not to use that comb in my hair, she just cut my hair without using comb . Are you serious? Did she ever passed state board exam even, it's the basic and very important thing to use sanitize tools. I don't know how even owner has hired her. She had really bad attitude. I feel like after having all these experience, salon environment must be unhygienic that's why owner/manager allow stylist to work In unhygienic way. I really feel sorry for all customer. She asked me a few questions about what kind of finish I was looking in my blow dry, if I had preferences in shampoo/conditioner and if there was anything that I stay away when applying to my hair/scalp. My experience included a nice and relaxing scalp massage when she applied the conditioner. During the blowout she made sure to take care of my flyaways or baby hair so they could stay flat and nice. Also, she tried to say it's non-refundable after the fact! Never not once in our conversation over the phone or in person did she mention the deposit was non-refundable and that's why i got my "non-refundable" deposit back! There should be a contract or these emplyoees/owner should let the customers know about this upfront especially when the service is a little shy of $2000! But nice try lady. So after a few years of debating on extensions, Megan convinced me to try them out. I will literally never go back! The hand tied extensions look so natural and feel so great in my hair for a little added thickness end length since my hair feels Impossible to grow. 10/10 recommend. I went ahead and edited my review to 1 star because this company obviously doesn't care. No response, nothing. I received 3 different totals and was completely over charged for something they didn't do. $240 waisted. I will never go back and I will NEVER recommend this place. Disappointment. If you're not an established customer they apparently do not care about you or your concerns, only they money. To start, my appointment was canceled the day before due to my stylist quitting. I asked to still be able to be set for an appointment the same day and they did however it took up my whole day and all mg plans were thrown out. I do not feel I got the most for what I paid. My ear gage was knocked out of my ear and went down the drain, they were custom hand made sadly. And no one even batted an eye about it. No compensation or anything. I did ask for more color and did not get as much as I wanted. I wanted WAY LESS red in my hair and much more brown. My stylist finished putting dye in and walked away immediately and I did not see her for 30 + minutes! My stylist left me to sit with dyed hair all in my face and eyes. My hair does feel lighter and healthier than it was so I'm thankful but someone explained to me that I did not get the balayage I asked for instead I got very limited coloring to my hair and dye all over my face. I truly feel I was taken advantage of to the most. I was told one price and got a completely different. I won't go back and I won't recommend this place to anyone. It's cute, I really wanted to love it, they offer drinks like wine and seltzer's but the service just isn't the best. I felt like they just didn't care beside the one nice woman who kindly pulled the hair out of my face after 25 minutes.
