Up until recently, I never had any issues when receiving my Trezepited shots in person. Nurse Practitioner Ashley Johnson and Dr. Paydon Newman both provided excellent care and really helped me achieve my goals--this review does not reflect on them at all. However, after switching to semiglutide, the first shipment arrived without a problem, but the second one never showed up. The UPS delivery photo was just a black screen, even though I was home all day. I filed a missing package claim with UPS and also contacted The Medspa Austin and the fulfillment company in Dallas. Everyone was polite and tried to help, but ultimately referred me back to The Medspa Austin because they needed to complete a form UPS had provided. Despite my efforts, The Medspa Austin would not replace the missing shipment, citing the "delivered" tracking information, and asked me to pay an additional $200 for a new shipment. I wasn't asking for a discount or a refund--I just wanted the shipment I had already paid for. This has been extremely frustrating, especially given the amount of money I've already spent and my previously positive experiences with their team. Until this missing shipment issue is resolved, I cannot recommend The Medspa Austin. However, I do want to emphasize that my negative experience does not reflect on Ashley Johnson or Dr. Paydon Newman, who both provided wonderful care.

After chatting with a few girlfriends about their dr.'s, I did a Google search for the top plastic surgeons/centers in Austin and APSI had a 4.9 rating! I then began to dig through their before/after pics and loved that they did not have that over the top fake look and that they all seemed body proportionate which is exactly what I wanted. While perusing the surgical options, I came across labiaplasty. I had never heard of it, but on RealSelf, the rate was almost 100%. After looking at before/after photos and decided I wanted that surgery as well. I made an appt for a consultation where I met Dr. Justin Booth and his assistant Christine Powell and they answered all of my questions and were patient. I definitely went over the allotted time, but I was never rushed. I have never considered getting breast augmentation and was not aware that surgeons do not go by cup sizes, but CC's. Dr. Booth measured me and gave me the max CC's for my frame and I then tried on the various Sientra silicone aka, gummy bear implants, which helped a lot. While they do not have pics online of labiaplasty, Dr. Booth performs them frequently. Their pricing was better than I expected and I was given a folder full of everything I needed to know about my upcoming surgeries, appt dates, and times, as well as pre & post op instructions. By the time I left, I loved both Dr. Booth and Christine and felt very comfortable with my upcoming surgeries. Prior to my surgeries, I came in to discuss current meds, post op meds, any last minute questions/concerns and etc. The surgery is performed in house at their surgical suite which is located next to the office. As soon as I arrived, everything went as scheduled and the nurses were all awesome. The next day, I received a call from Jenny, Dr. Booth's nurse and was provided her personal cell in the event I was experiencing any adverse pain or reactions. Due to their thorough explanations, I was fully prepared for what to expect and my healing process went accordingly. I am at the 6 week mark and to say I am obsessed with my body is an understatement! I cannot say enough about how grateful I am to Dr. Justin Booth and his entire staff. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

That manager is the only service person who has ever complained about my need for disability accommodations. When I suggested that all forms be sent to clients before the first visit, so problems could be noted and solved before clients had to drive to the studio, he became quite defensive. He showed no empathy. I have never been treated so badly by any service provider. I find it ironic that a manager at a school that teaches people to perform a service career would be so callous. My advice is that you consider driving up north to Austin's other laser school, where service is impeccable.

Sandy advised that she could enhance my jawline by adding more filler in my chin. Apparently, what I requested is known as the "Texas Jawline."" Texas Jaw Treatments typically use Hyaluronic Acid Fillers to reshape and strengthen your jawline. Fillers are injectable substances that are absorbed by the skin to instantly add volume and create a lifting effect. Some products also trigger the production of collagen, which is the main constituent of skin, bones, and ligaments. To achieve my desired look, Sandy recommended using Restylane lyft and Restylane define. When injected into the hands, Restylane Lyft reduces the appearance of sagging skin, making the tendons and bones of the hand less visible. The injection of hyaluronic acid also triggers the production of collagen, which naturally provides more structure to the skin for longer. Similar to other products listed in the previous review of services rendered here, results of this filer have been shown to last up to 1 year with Restylane Lyft in the cheeks; up to 6 months in facial wrinkles and folds, like nasolabial folds; and up to 6 months in the hands. Sandy is extremely meticulous when it comes to providing fillers and explaining what benefits may arise from using various fillers. While this, by far, is the most unpleasant feeling during the injection of all the fillers I have used in the past, the end result of the filler is probably the most noticeable (in a good way). Cost for three syringes this go around with discount $1,800. Total for treatment last week and this week for injectables/fillers $3,000

Everything about Muse made me feel comfortable, from their office to their staff. Sydney, who does my injections and laser work, is a master of her craft and I could completely trust her to decide what is needed to help me age gracefully without ever looking too done. I have gotten so many compliments on my skin since I started seeing her. She treated my melasma and acne scarring with a laser treatment and the results were incredible. Then she asked, "Do you want some in your brows?" and I said "sure," assuming it was part of the same leftover amount -- no one mentioned there would be an additional charge. When I went to check out, I was suddenly told it was an extra $160, which felt very misleading. I couldn't exactly say "I wasn't aware, take it out." so I just paid and left. During my lip filler, she had the alcohol pad pressed on my nose, and I couldn't breathe without inhaling alcohol. I was panicking, trying to make noises and even move my head a little so she'd realize something was wrong, but she didn't notice until afterward and just said "oops, sorry" and the corrected herself for the rest. It was scary and one of the most uncomfortable feelings I've ever had during an appointment. Imagine only being able to breathe in alcohol. I work in sales, so I completely understand upcharges and add-ons -- but I also know the importance of transparency. Clients deserve to know exactly what they're paying for and where their money is going. I left feeling uncomfortable, blindsided, and disappointed after what used to be one of my favorite med spas. I hope management addresses the communication and care standards here, because trust and safety should always come first
