I scheduled an appointment for my son over 1 month in advance with US Dermatology's scheduling service. We showed up for the appointment time/date only to be told by the front office staff that we needed a referral for the appointment. The person said I could reschedule or keep the appointment and pay out of pocket. Since it was US Dermatology's error, I asked her to call my son's pediatrician and get the new referral. She said their policy is for the client to get the referral (had I known I needed a new referral I would have gotten it when the appointment was scheduled {which the scheduling service should have told me to}). Then, she said that the call to the pediatrician would be outside the 15 minute appointment window thus it would not be possible to see Lindsay today anyway (we've never had an on-time appointment (within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment anyway) with a US Dermatology clinician. Surely, they have a policy about being mindful of their client's time. ;-) Poor customer service cost US Dermatology 5 patients, as my family will be moving on to another dermatology practice. What a shame, I really like Lindsay Reck.

LePa is without a doubt the best spa in Austin! When you first walk in, you automatically feel relaxed and welcomed. The facility in clean, modern, and quiet. All of the estheticians are professional, informative, and nice. I have gone to Manja for facials, electrolysis and eyebrow microblading for many years. I would never trust my skin to anyone else besides Manja and her team. She is an expert in her field and an absolute gem. (1) Facials- She can identify and treat all different skin types and conditions to make your skin happy and healthy. There is always a noticeable difference in my skin from when I walk in to when I leave. Manja is gentle, communicative, and detail oriented. Without a doubt, she consistently gives facials above the rest. (2) Electrolysis - With other electrolysis places, I consistently got acne after the treatments due to the poor technique. I have yet to have a single pimple with Manja. She gets every single unwanted hair quickly and pain free. (3) Eyebrow Micro blading - I cannot express how happy I am with this service. I have gotten compliments from everyone I have been around (men and women) for the past couple of weeks. The procedure was pain-free and quick. Manja was informative, adaptable, and thoughtful. Not only did she match the color, but she shaped them perfectly. Overall, Manja is a perfectionist which shows in her work. She always gives 110% and delivers beyond expectations. I had a Telo Body Facial from Becca, and it was lovely! She has fabulous super-soft hands and is both a licensed esthetician and massage therapist. She'll evaluate your skin, and then starts with a full-body sugar scrub with you lying on a specially-designed spa bath/shower table. If you are not comfortable being naked in front of someone this might not be the service for you! They provide a disposable panty and boob-tube coverlet, but they are literally tissue paper, and don't really cover a whole lot. I believe you can bring your own bikini or underwear if you'd like. So she scrubs you down, rinses you off, and then you transfer to the massage table bed, where she applies the appropriate moisturizing masque (I had the milk + honey) all over your body, and then wraps you up in a plastic sheet and blanket. You get a little head massage, and then Becca leaves you to marinate for just a few more minutes. I almost fell asleep, I was so relaxed! Then she comes back, and rinses you off, and you're left with amazingly silky-smooth skin! It's a great way to pamper yourself. Lepa has recently moved to Hancock Drive; they are now in an adorable little house and it seems very spacious with a great feel to it. The treatment rooms are good sized; the one I was in held both the shower table and massage table, and there was plenty of room. read more

I had Katie for my latest facial (the signature facial which both replenishes and cleanses the skin). The products are amazing. As someone who has had lifelong sensitivity to beauty products that are chock-full of chemicals, the dedication in this business to natural and plant-based products is just what I needed. When scheduling, I specifically asked whether you had an injector experienced with mature skin and droopy eyelids, as technique matters significantly. I was assured that you did. During my consultation, I explained that I typically receive 40 units and prefer a natural look. I also mentioned my droopy eyelids and that my previous injector adjusts placement to provide a subtle lift. I was advised to increase to 56 units, and after some discussion, I said fine (they made me pay the highest price per unit that I ever paid for that additional units) Within a week, my eyelids dropped significantly more than before. It appears too much product was placed in my forehead, resulting in pronounced lid heaviness. I am currently unable to comfortably apply mascara, and the outcome is very concerning. I contacted the front desk and was told a manager would call me. Instead, I received a text asking me to schedule another appointment. I requested a phone call but have not received any response. I am extremely disappointed -- both in the outcome and in the lack of consideration for their customers. Never again!

She did try to fix it with a free surgery but I ended up never seeing her post op and the nurse removed stitches too soon, leaving lots of scar tissue damage. She also, put two completely different size breast implants making a very unsymmetrical appearance, even though symmetry was very important to me. She has an odd bedside manner, very awkward, and took almost 8 hours on the first surgery. My mom was in the next room waiting and could hear her and her surgery staff laughing, taking snack breaks, etc. I've been told by nursing staff that all of her glowing articles are bought and paid for by her, and bad reviews are removed as well. Use caution with this one, my repair journey from her damage was from the age of 20 to 28. You've been warned.

The waiting area has plenty of seating for clients waiting and there are two restrooms as well as an open sink area for clients and guests to use. This allowed for easy access and in this part of town that can be challenging to come by. The desk staff are very nice and helpful. Someone came in 30+ minutes early for their appointment and instead of making it a big deal they offered them the use of the sauna. I thought this was really great and showcased that the spa really does prioritize guest experience. The level of communication pre appointment was great and supportive. I was on a wait list for my service and was texted about an earlier opening. My actual procedure was also a great experience. The esthetician was incredibly knowledgeable and provided great insight around aftercare and follow-up. Shout out to Kristin(en) she was great and it was also her birthday.
