Superior framing of my Alaska prints and the staff was helpful in helping me be cost effective. Will definitely be back.

I have to admit I hated it when the store moved to Proctor, but will still gladly drive those few miles out of the way to have Stacia do all my framing projects.

And I got exactly what I'd hoped for: professional consultation with recommendations tailored to my preferences. And I am very pleased with the matting and the frame. Really nice work. It's worth stopping by just to view the exhibitions! If you are looking to add to your collection of quality art work by established local artists this is the place to come. Reasonably priced works are always available by such highly esteemed local artists such as Kari Tirrell, Misty Martin, Michael Ferguson, Richard Heller and more. The gallery also has many works by the late Pulitzer Prize winning artist from Vashon Island, Art Hansen. Prices are very reasonable, most works are available beautifully framed ready to hang on your walls. Speaking of framing, American Art Co. is my go to place to have art work framed. Over the years I have had many works expertly framed here. Good framing is expensive, but framing costs at American Art Co. are competitive. The quality exceeds what you can find elsewhere in the area. The owners, Tammy and Craig, will work with you to create what will work best to display your art!

Go here! Great service, fair prices, good selection, and lots of options…read more I received a bunch of oil paintings from a relative and needed them framed. I hate framing'! It's difficult, expensive, and time-consuming -- a soul-killing experience. I started my search at the usual hobby and art stores & also shopped on-line. I was saddened by the low quality and lack of selection at the big box chains, and their custom frames are crazy expensive. On-line was a high priced hassle. Fabio worked with me to find some "oops" frames and scraps to keep my prices low. They look great and were finished quickly. I'm never going to another frame shop as long as Fabio is here.

I dropped off the picture on Thursday February 15th and received a phone call yesterday February 16th that it was complete. When I arrived at the shop my picture was brought out wrapped up and when it was shown to me, I was so impressed with how beautiful it turned out. Fabio's shop is wonderful, full of amazing choices of frames, glass and ideas to showcase your art. Service is impeccable and I love supporting a small business owner. Highly recommend!

Then I had to figure out how to get it from Tulsa to Seattle. Luckily, a friendly UPS employee offered to pick it up in person at a specific appointment time and ship it. While removing the artwork from the package, I accidentally got tape stuck to the back and ripped off a layer of paper. The print already had creasing in the corner when I bought it. On top of that, I unrolled it on my bed, where my cat's fur stuck to it like a magnet. Plus I crumpled it a bit while putting it back in the box. Still, I hoped my thrift store find just needed some TLC. Carri Tobler at Artco Framing and Gallery in Tacoma did a beautiful job of covering the damage. She recommended the perfect mat and frame for my first custom framing purchase. I drove all the way to their shop from Seattle because of a recommendation and am confident I made the right decision. It feels good to support a woman-owned small business that also promotes the work of local artists. Suzanne II is now the statement piece of my living room, where she reminds me of a quiet moment after the curtain comes down on a play. Alone, holding a bouquet of partially crushed flowers, we're both left to ponder what comes next. For me, that will be another visit to Artco Framing and Gallery when I need custom framing.

The coffee shop is a bonus. I had never been in Bonney Lake before meeting my now husband of 5 plus years, and I have developed the habit of coming here whenever anything happens in my life. Everything is expensive these days, but I come to Ben Franklin to walk the aisles and feel my feelings. I come here when I am sad, scared, happy, excited. Through celebrations and losses, milestones and ordinary days, it has been a constant place of comfort, creativity, and possibility. I do not usually let staff at any store affect my day one way or another. They have their own lives and stories that I know nothing about... every employee I have encountered here has been kind, helpful, and genuinely pleasant. My child is growing up with paintbrushes instead of iPads, with crochet hooks and yarn, fabric, puzzles, sewing machines, and handmade keepsakes that become symbols of memory. She is learning how to create, imagine, and build with her own hands. A big part of that is because this place exists. We truly love Ben Franklin Crafts. Please do not go anywhere.

Love the interactions and even though I'm an amateur they make me feel like I belong there - I'm tired of shopping online. Robis has a great selection and if I can shop somewhere in person, I'm gonna do it. Give them a shot!

Long story short -- if your looking to get film developed or print projects done, there are many…read morereputable online services that do a better job for a fraction of the time compared to Robi's. I submitted a roll of 35mm film at Robi's on June 18th, I did not get the digital scans back until July 12th. When I dropped it off, I was told it would take 2 weeks max because of 'staffing shortages'. Even when I was there, no one was even working in the lab that day. I should've taken that as a sign. 2 weeks passed, I gave them a call on July 3rd. Person on the phone seemed rather annoyed I was calling inquiring about my order and put me on hold for a few minutes. He came back, said he didn't see my order in queue, and to check back next week. I then get a call on July 5th telling me there's a delay in my order because... staffing shortages. You would think if they had a lot of orders in queue, that they would have the appropriate amount of staff on hand to get caught up. I mean, that's what most normal businesses do. They don't seem to care. A full week passes, and I call them again on Friday July 12th, rather annoyed. The girl on the phone couldn't even find my order at first, and had to double check with me what the name was and what date I took it in. She comes back and says it's gonna be completed that day. Finally. I receive the transfer, and I'm disappointed. Partially my fault as the photographer, some of my photos were underexposed. But there were a few photos that weren't even properly scanned and were cut off. See attached photo. I called back to see if they could re scan and send it over, they said they would look into it. That was 3 days ago, I'm not expecting a call back and don't care at this point. Unrelated to experience above, but I've also had digital prints done here in the past and have been disappointed with the quality. I get my prints with borders there was one instance where my borders were cut unevenly and were cut into the image itself. I had to ask for a reprint. The prices here for prints aren't even competitive compared to others, and I feel they are overpriced for what you get. I tried to give it one more shot, but I wont ever do business with Robi's again. It's a shame they are one of the only camera/print/film developing businesses around the south sound, but at this point I'll do business with online vendors that have a more reasonable turn around time and better quality (ex. TheDarkRoom, iPrintfromHome.com, etc.)
