I'm from California and was looking for a specific model of a guitar that this Guitar Center…read morelocation happened to have in stock. I sent a message through the GC website to this location to get some more information on the guitar since it was hard to tell exactly what the condition of the guitar was based on the photos. Their sales manager, Ben, emailed me back the same day and provided very detailed information about the condition of the guitar. He even included additional photos that were very clear and he indicated in the photos where there were any cosmetic imperfections on the guitar. Although I did not end up purchasing the guitar, I was extremely happy with Ben's customer service. He really went above and beyond. Based on my experience, I would definitely consider a used gear purchase from this Guitar Center location in the future.

Imminently knowledgeable and keen, we just knew the work he was doing was the right thing. I was told he's certified by the Martin guitar folks. My friend had a Charango from Peru just to show Tom, and he immediately identified 3 or 4 things he could improve on the instrument. This store bills itself as South Jersey's Oldest Music Shoppe, since 1938. They are very active in the community with local high school bands and the like, and the very friendly cashier was the daughter of the original owner. The selection of musical instruments, music, and all sorts of related paraphernalia was mind-boggling. It seemed very-well kept up and clean to me. You may not find that rare Martin 1935 guitar here, but that's not what this store is about.
