This lead to extremely poor leash manners on any hike or even just a structured walk in the neighborhood. Melissa took our dogs and in 4wks transformed them into completely different dogs! I was completely impressed at how responsive they became. She was extremely transparent about everything she was doing and kept up great communication. She is confident, calm, well spoken and knows what she is doing! There is no doubt in my mind she is a fantastic trainer. The biggest learning curve was on me to learn how to communicate and interact with the dogs after training. Keep in mind you as the owner need to shed the previous ways of communication and learn how to talk to your pets like the trainer(s) do so they can essentially "pass the torch" to you, and YOU not undo all that ground work. Great experience, great results, 15/10 would do this again, no question or hesitation, just take my money.

Once we met him we immediately knew why. He spent some time getting to know Bruno as well as taking extensive notes regarding what behaviors we wanted to address. We saw results from the first session. We were able to get him to take his walks getting him the exercise he needed. Dallas also helped us address some behavior issues by helping us understand what we had done to contribute to the problem and how we could correct them. So we drove the 50 minutes with excitement and high hopes. This "club" is run on a volunteer basis so getting a hold of anyone is impossible. Emails are iffy even though they claim to have sent them, and I did check spam. At the training there were 3 instructors; only one was actually good. The main instructor spoke so low and quietly you couldn't hear her half the time . One participant , who was an older lady, had to tell her to speak up because she couldn't hear her but it didn't help. Then there was the blond hair lady who, for whatever reason, decided she had a problem with me. I arrived on time, barely spoke in class, took their instructions, and did my best with implementing those instructions on my puppy. Now here's the issue I had with this person. My positive reinforcement word for my puppy was "good girl" and I would bend down and say that to her every time she hit her training and give her a treat. This woman, I do not know her name or I would gladly put it here, came up on me, I mean very close to my face, and proceeded to say that I'm not saying my positive reinforcement word and did so rudely and with attitude. When I told her yes I'm saying it she looked at me and said, again rudely, "well I'm not hearing it." Hmm I didn't know I had to shout "good girl" for the entire class to hear. Since my dog reaches just above my ankles and when I bend down to praise her I figure she's the only one that needs to hear " good girl" and not the entire class. This instructor, I use that word lightly, was lucky that day. I took her rudeness and attitude and didn't call her on it. I should have but I figured I'd write this review instead She is rude, had attitude and wasn't much of an instructor. We did not return to class and have opted to put our pup in training at another facility. This woman needs to find something else to do. I will say this, there was one instructor, wish I knew her name and her information, who was great. She knew how to speak to people, give you advise without being rude. She would come to you and try to help you do a command while the other two would talk about their day. This instructor was a tall, thin older woman with gray hair. If she trains somewhere other than here I would gladly take my pup to. My advise is to find another training facility that is not run by volunteers and one that will actually help you in all aspects of training. This place is horrible!!!

Short version: she's amazing with dogs and very quickly got my two out of control dogs under control. She's honorable, professional and provides great value. If you are considering retaining her, do it! Just look at the pictures of my happy dogs. That's all you need to know. Long version: I have worked with Noelle since about March and since that time have come to rely on her for all things dog related. I hired her initially for the intensive dog training, still rely on her for weekly training sessions, and have used her for "house sitting" the dogs when I travel. I recommend all three services as highly as you can recommend anything. Let me explain. On Super Bowl Sunday, 2014, I rescued two French Bulldogs and named them Zeus and Apollo. You may recall these are the names of the exceptionally well behaved Dobermans from Magnum PI. Well, my lads were far from that. They had been smuggled inform Russia and then detained at a farm in 29 Palms with dozens of other dogs. They were about 6 months old, had no potty training and were constantly fighting. They wouldn't sleep or go in their crates. They went to the bathroom in the house it seemed like every 15 minutes. They refused to walk on a leash. After a month, I was sleepless, frustrated and about to quit. Enter Noelle! Within 2 days, they were sleeping in their crates the entire night. They were on the path to be potty trained. She came in for an intensive program (6 hours per day for 10 days or so), but got the dogs under control so quickly that she didn't need to stay for the whole time. So, she graciously agreed to a longer term training program, which we continue to this day. Not only did she train the dogs, she helped me understand how to bring out the best in my dogs. She provided detailed instructions and helped me become a better dog manager. The dogs went from being neurotic monsters to two of the most friendly dogs you can imagine. They are incredibly friendly, great around kids and just love other dogs. He is now 14yrs old and they take him to grandma's house for boarding as she will take small senior dogs. He seems to do great each time and keeps a peace of mind for us when traveling. The great thing is on the boarding they allow your dog to play during the day in the play group with other dogs. They post pictures daily, which is great to see. No extra fees for the playtime. With as many pet owners in the area we have been fortunate to get our dog into the boarding as needed. I would suggest booking in advance to secure your spot especially during school holiday time.

Thus, you have to be careful when grooming them because you could damage their undercoat and fur if you use mechanical trimmers. We picked PPPS because of the positive yelp reviews. We booked our pup for an appointment. PPPS uses text to communicate with you and the communication is excellent. PPPS needed vaccine records and many additional details to make sure it was safe for all the other pups at their location. We dropped off Zoey and spoke with the groomer (Bree). Bree was very aware of how to properly groom an Aussie. We had a brief conversation about what we wanted and believed Zoey was in capable hands. When Zoey was done, we got a text to pick her up. I was greeted upon arrival and Zoey was led out to me right away. Zoey looked fantastic!!! Bree groomed her exactly the way we had discussed. Zoey looked even better than I had hoped. I gave Bree a $20.00 tip. When I brought Zoey home and my wife saw her, my wife loved the grooming. My wife's only complaint was that I should have given Bree a bigger tip. I will fix that the next time we bring Zoey in for a groom.
