We received a text the morning of the crawl letting us know where and when to meet. Linley was waiting at the bar to check us in, give us a wrist band and let us know the drink specials. We moved to the back room and everyone introduced themselves. Linley told us some entertaining Nashville history and she broke us up for a trivia game that we played there and some other stops along the way. Before we went in to each bar, Linley gave us the run down on the specials and also had a quiet spot to give us some more history and play some Trivia. We had to leave after the rooftop bar, with stunning views, but am sure there were some good times at the karaoke bar with bull riding. A great way to spend a few hours with new friends when you come to Nashville. BTW, drinking is not required. read more

Let me just say I was not disappointed with this tour. There is a lot of history involved, trivia and great drinks. My cousin and I were so luck that the large group of friends in our tour were just so awesome we hung out the rest of the night with them after the tour. The tour is very casual, the tour guide has some good humor and it's a great place to start when breaking the ice to Nashville. You get to see some great views of the river and just learn things you wouldn't about the city unless you read it in a book. I cannot recommend this more- drinking is highly encouraged but not required. Get your drunk history on and end it with karaoke! read more

It's already been said but I'll agree and add even more koodos to John. He knows his music and I appreciated that this tour stayed away from the flashy tourist traps! We heard a variety of music. My favorites were Doc Holidays for the entertainment as well as the welcoming and quaint venue and George Jones for the awesome old school country music and the great roof top bar. It was a fun night, and you don't have to be a big drinker. We were driving an hour up the road after the tour ended so beverages were kept to a minimum and we still had a great time!! I would give this a solid 4 stars but I'm bumping it up one because my team won the trivia game and who doesn't like to be a winner?? read more

SO. MUCH. FUN. We took a girls trip to Nashville and this tour was recommended by a friend. I'm so glad we took them up on their advice. We had Kenzie (not a girl! Lol) as our guide and he was awesome. We did trivia, drank, did karaoke, and generally made fools of ourselves. It was a blast. This was easy to sign up for and inexpensive. This tour was not what I expected. I wanted to learn some fun facts about Nashville with a drink in hand, go to some cool, fun bars, get some good tips on things to do, learn some history, but no. You just walk with a group and a guide to 4 bars and buy drinks. Our guide was really nice and so were the people in our group but it felt like a waste of our time, we went places we could of just gone and drank at on our own, without having to wait for the group. But if you are in Nashville and want to meet people to walk around and drink with, this tour is perfect for you. My husband and I decided to take a weekend trip to Nashville just to get away. We have been to Nashville before, but we have only been during the week. I've seen Groupons for Music city pub crawl before so I decided to give this company a try. We have always wanted to do a pub crawl in Nashville so we decided to book it for the Friday that we were driving in. I received a text Friday morning telling me the meeting place, who to ask for at the meeting place, and also to let the bar staff know that we were part of the pub crawl to take advantage of bar specials. Our pub crawl was scheduled at 4pm and we got to the first pub a little early because we wanted to get a couple of drinks and relax. Linley (the owner of the pub crawl) arrived right on time and took us and a bachelorette party upstairs the bar to discuss the activities for the night. I wasn't too excited about being grouped with a bachelorette party, but we came with an open mind. We started off introducing ourselves and Linely giving us a little history about Nashville. We also played a short trivia game in groups to get everyone to mingle more. Unfortunately the bachelorette party was already wasted and obnoxious. They weren't listening to anything and being very rude and loud (Another reason I didn't want to be grouped with a bachelorette party). Linley had everyone take a restroom break before we headed to the next stop. There was only one issue with that. The bachelorette party decided they were going to bail on the pub crawl and start trouble with the bar staff downstairs. Linley felt so bad and apologized profusely for the other group's behavior. Linley said we could go on the pub crawl without them or we could be put with another group that's scheduled for 5:30. We opted to go later because we weren't in a rush. Linley felt so bad that she even bought my husband and I a drink! We just sat, drank beer, and talked with Linley and our pub crawl guide Dave until the other group arrived. Linely and Dave are such nice people. We really enjoyed talking with them before our pub crawl. The second group we were put with was another bachelorette party(sigh), two ladies from North Carolina, and two guys from England. This group was so much better than the last! Everyone was respectful and "clicked" with each other! We ended up visiting 3 bars throughout the night and got a little history on each stop from our guide Dave. The drinks specials at each stop were awesome and we had so much fun! We even ended up hanging out with the bachelorette party for the rest of the night after the pub crawl because they were such a fun group! I would totally recommend doing this pub crawl. You will have a lot of fun and meet interesting people(either in a good or bad way). read more

Absolutely a waste of time and money. There was another group who was drunk, rude and confrontational so our group of 8 women left. The owner said we should have stayed and called the police to report assault as one woman in the other party walked by and shoved me. We spoke with the owner who advised she was in the hospital and could not deal with this. She also advised no refund because she had lost over $300,000 several years ago, that half the money of the tour goes to the tour guide and that she could not afford to give us a refund. She also advised that Kinsley only being 25 years old was inexperienced for the situation and probably did not know how to handle it. I booked through a third-party and she actually lied to them and said I threaten blackmail which at no point in time did I ever. The owner also claimed to have spoken to the other two parties to get their side of the story and according to her they were all glad we left and had a fabulous time. She did offer us a voucher for the next two years to come back for free, I wouldn't give that voucher to anybody as it would be able to complete waste of the time and positive energy. read more

We were in town to celebrate a 21st birthday and decided we needed to do a pub crawl. Jess was our hostess and did a great job keeping track of everyone . We visited 5 or 6 bars (sorry, lost count along the way). Had my 80 year old mom with us and let's just say for someone who was only going to have one drink then water we sure saw her taking a lot of shots! We had trivia contests at a few bars and boy were we competitive. The bars we went to were on 2nd Ave so weren't as crazy packed as the ones on Broadway. The last one had bull riding - boy was that entertaining! Found bars we'll go back to that we never would have found on our own. Had a great time - definitely recommend. When planning my sister's bachelorette party in Nashville I thought this pub crawl would be a really fun way to spend the afternoon and learn a little about the city. From planning through the day of, coordinating logistics with Linley was super easy. The day of the crawl we arrived at the meeting place along with what looked like 5 other bachelorette parties. Since there were only 8 of us we were paired with another group, a bachelor party about the same size as ours. Linley was our tour guide and she was AWESOME! She was funny, sweet and patient when our group got distracted from the tour. She split us up into smaller teams so we would mingle with the other group. We went to 4 bars and ended up singing karaoke at the last bar. We got a long so well with the group we were paired with that we ended up meeting up with them later that night too. When I was planning my best friend's bachelorette party, I came across Linley with Music City Pub Crawl and decided to book a private tour with her. We had 14 girls and booked an afternoon tour with her. Linley texted me the night before tour and the morning of to check in which I appreciated and met us at a bar to start the tour. She was so welcoming to a group of people she had never met before and instantly became part of our crew. We toured 4 or 5 different bars and had an absolute BLAST. One of the girls in our group had recently had surgery and couldn't drink but Linley made it fun for the whole crew - sober or not! My friends and I have been travelling to Nashville for years for birthdays, bachelorette parties and concerts. We thought we knew it all. So on our most recent trip we decided to book a pub crawl since it was a bachelorette party and we wanted to mix things up. We had SO MUCH FUN! Tanner was our guide and he did great corralling our crazy group of rowdy 20-somethings and did his best to throw in some history when we would listen. The tour itself was $15 per person- you get a coozie, some drunk history and a change of pace. Well worth it in my opinion. They took us to a rooftop bar on top of the George Jones museum that we never would have stumbled upon on our own. We want to multiple other bars that we had been to but we got to learn some history along the way. The best part of this tour was that I think if we needed a lot of structure it would have been there, but we were laid back and so was our guide. It was a great change of pace from our normal Nashville trip and I recommend it for first timers and new-be's alike! read more

This was the worst experience I have had with a bar crawl. We arrived a few minutes behind because we couldn't find the bar which was in an alley way. When we got seated we were greeted with attitudes from other customers of the bar crawl. I didn't realize nothing was not included in this bar crawl besides someone taking you bar to bar. The host was nice but was not observant at all nor didn't help in the next scenario when we were divided from our party into groups. The minute we were put into groups and sat down, my friend and I introduced ourselves again to the group and asked everyone's names again because it was not easy to remember 20 peoples names. We immediately were met with an attitude from another person at our table and the lady said she was not going to say her name again. This same lady spoke about how her friend was looking to get into a fight, and was just very unfriendly. We switched back into our groups and were leaving the bar when my whole party realized that the lady who was unfriendly- was not alone, it was everyone in her group being rude to our party. We went outside to leave the bar for the next bar when we stopped to take a picture in an alley way. Two of the girls from the rude party missed the group picture and demanded we take another picture with them in it. My one group member said she would not take another photo since they were late and rude. As we were walking to the next bar, the same rude lady shoulder checked my group member. That's when we knew we needed to leave due to the hostile environment. We told the tour guide we needed to leave because of how bad it was getting. He claimed he had no idea, and hadn't seen or heard anything. In which none of the parties were quiet about any of this. Instead of him excusing the other party due to there behavior, we were the ones who left. My party was the only ones who were all different races/cultures, the rest of the groups were all Caucasian, and I can't help but to have felt targeted in that situation. My group member called the guide to ask him for a refund and he ignored her call. We ended up going to another bar to get far away, and we ended up running into them again and they tried to wave at us and started laughing. My group member contacted the owner for a refund since we did not get the services we paid for, the owner made up excuses of why she personally could not afford to refund the money. I have never had such a terrible experience, nor had a owner try to use her financial struggles as an excuse to not refund our money. I would not recommend this bar crawl to anyone.
