The Pontoon Saloon is a fun place and way to celebrate your birthday or bachelorette celebrations. Our bride found it on the Bach App. I highly recommend that you book the tour early for any public cruise to avoid it selling out or any confusion, but you can also book directly through them online. The online fee included entry & an onboard cooler with ice. You could bring your own beverages on the ship to enjoy during the 2 hour experience. The staff was friendly and fun and hosted games for us to make the cruise fun. They played a variety of music based on the crowd and encouraged tips for drinks & song requests. The host reminded me of a comedian but ensured we were having a good time and highlighted all birthdays, brides, and anniversaries. It was a vibe! The only hiccup was finding the place. It was not easy to find after being dropped off by the uber. The easiest path area was blocked due to preparation for July 4. We had to walk up stairs and across the bridge to a greenish elevator and take it down to the lower level and walk around the buildings (where the restrooms were) to get to the correct area where the boat was located. The instructions say arrive about 20 minutes early & I recommend that you arrive 20-35 minutes early, especially if you are directionally challenged or a slower walker. We took the Water Taxi History Tour offered through Pontoon Saloon. It was fantastic. Very cool on the river which was a nice relief on a very hot and humid day. Jimbo was our tour guide, and provided lots of information. The tour was 2 hours. A restroom is on board, and they have drinks for purchase. No food though. I would recommend. read more

The main thing that comes to my mind is A Time was Had! Me and my girls booked this excursion for my best friend's bachelorette weekend activity. Our host was awesome! He made sure my friend had a really good time! There were other folks celebrating monumental things like a birthday and another soon to be bride. The actual ride is about an hour and a half around the lake. I do want to say your Uber driver may not drop off at the exact location. As a result we did have to walk over to the Pontoon to ensure we made our selected reservation. The music was a vibe and the crowd was a whole vibe as well. I loved every moment of the experience. Above all my friend enjoyed having her moment to shine. I would suggest everyone who's booking something special like a bachelor/bachelorette/birthday to visit Pontoon Salon. We were celebrating a bachelorette with 6 people. The boat had plenty of space for games & dancing. The check in process was easy and they gave excellent instructions to find the dock. Two recommendations: 1) be sure everyone has signed the waiver before arrival & 2) arrive 25-30 minutes prior. This made the check in process seamless. We brought our own cooler but they have coolers & ice onboard for drinks you bring. If you run out they also sell whiteclaw, local brews, and other beers. Can't recommend this enough! read more

We had booked the Pontoon Saloon for a group of friends who were visiting from out of town. Two days before our sailing date, we received am email confirmation from the Pontoon Saloon confirming our reservation. The very next day, we received another email that said our reservation was cancelled because another group had cancelled. I realize that there was a booking minimum for the cruise, but I feel that once they sent out the confirmation 48 hours in advance, the cruise should take place. If another group cancelled at the last minute, they should take their deposit but still keep the reservation for the others who were planning on the cruise. Everyone in our group was very disappointed. read more
