I can have it as a credit towards a new instrument, but my child no longer plays (plus we live 15 hours away). I still have the $200 bell kit which I have paid nearly $700 toward at this point. I am told I will need to continue paying for eternity or alternatively I can spend a small fortune to ship it back to them. These are my only options. This is a perfect example of profit over customer service and complete unwillingness to work with your customer. I'm amazed they can't just allow me to keep this three year old Bell kit for the nearly $700 I've invested. But apparently I need to fly to Pennsylvania to pick out a new instrument or spend a fortune shipping this back otherwise I can count on spending $20 a month for the rest of my life. The receipt did not mention "final sale," and no refund policy was disclosed at the time of purchase. When I requested a refund, the owner, Dan, refused, stating he was "too old" and unwilling to issue one. This refusal wasn't based on any written or posted policy. I found the experience disappointing and unprofessional despite the staff being wonderful; I would caution others to confirm refund terms in writing before making a purchase.

This was further complicated by the fact that the piano was placed in an area with humidity and temperature fluctuations, ultimately leading to sticking jacks. He presented an excellent set of recommendations for maintaining the health and improving the function of our piano moving forward. He touched on the fact that a specific type of regulation would greatly improve the sound and increase the responsiveness of the action, and he offered it as a part of the long-term plan for our investment. There's nothing about the service we received from Mr. Hernandez it was lacking in quality or reliability; we would absolutely recommend his services to any piano owner!
