I purchased a front camera for my 2017 Toyota Tacoma, can you come to my home to install it?

Is it a dash cam? We have open air waiting area at our shop.

I want to have a NVX subwoofer system installed in my 2021 tesla model 3. I spoke with a guy at speed element that recommended music in motion. How much experience do you have installing stereos in teslas?

We haven’t done model 3 but we just did NVX system in an ISF. Each of us have been working on car audio for over 20 years. We all have passion for cars.

TLDR: come wrap your car here if you want it to be wrapped by incompetent amateurs. And if you…read morecriticize their ppf work, they'll insist that they do "paint protection not paint perfection". Check the photos for just how badly they messed up our car, and ask yourself if this is what you want your car to look like. I initially visited this business in late 2025. I, like you and countless other prospective clients, saw that they are a well-reviewed and mature car wrap serving the Bay Area, and they are even certified Inozetek wrap dealers. Unfortunately, I had the (mis?)fortune of totaling my car that year and wasn't able to do the wrap with them. However, I held them in high regard and was eager to recommend the shop to all of my friends. When my boyfriend bought a Lotus Emira in the summer of 2026, I eagerly recommended that he bring his car to Carmodz, and so we brought the car together under my advice. We were greeted by Brandon. They had a GT3RS parked out front and he opened up the doors to let us inspect the corners. I let him know we were looking for a high quality wrap job, meaning tucking the wrap into all the edges and corners. This is where the miscommunication begins. He shows us the GT3RS, we compliment the corners and see that it's tucked well, and I remember distinctly saying that we're looking for this kind of quality. So we got around to pricing, and we agree on $4200. After a few hours of leaving it at the shop, we notice the car isn't being worked on, since there was no availability until the next week to start, so we took the car out with a $1000 down payment. The day after we get a facetime complaining about water spots. They demanded we pay them extra money to polish off the spots. My boyfriend said that we definitely wanted to address that before starting the wrap and that they should call us back with the actual quote (they called us without having a number of how much it would cost). After a few hours we found out they had already started the "polish" and said we would just have to pay. They quoted us a much higher number, and we said no you started working on our car without confirming the price, but we'll still pay $200. They messaged my boyfriend later telling him that they were mad he let me talk during the phone call, and that they only wanted to talk to him, not his partner, because it's not my car? So we leave them to continue with the job, letting them know that we would like the car for Monterey car week, but we never implied in any capacity to them that we would like the job to be rushed and compromise on quality for this specific event. The week leading up to the first weekend, they message us to say the car is ready. We show up, and find the car in this state (pictured). I run around the shop with my boyfriend, agitated that this has happened, and we express our frustration to the shop techs. Apparently the owners already left for Monterey car week. So absolutely we did not take delivery or make the rest of the payment. The shop techs seemed stressed and called Mario, who was very dismissive of our concerns. That night, Brandon calls my boyfriend. The same shpiel on the film being precut and not a custom "full lay", to which we were indignant that on the day we agreed to let them do the work, they heavily implied they would be doing a full lay on our car like the GT3RS, and conveniently forgot to clarify this until the wrap was on the car and it was too late to stop the work. And then, Brandon lays into my boyfriend, demanding to know what girl he brought to pick up the car, and demanding that communication needs to be between him and my boyfriend alone. Says he pulled the camera footage from the shop and saw us running around the car and like telling all the imperfections to the shop techs, who called Mario, to which Brandon is like, why are you talking to Mario, everything you do should be through me, now you got someone else involved and I look bad etc. So there are rules on who you can talk to in the shop now if you get your car wrapped here? We go in person to check on the car and sign their newly proposed contract, and both Mario and Brandon are there. Mario seems somewhat apologetic and they admit that they didn't check the car before it was released to us. They ended up being extremely rude to us so we end up taking the car back and going with someone else. *all of the photos posted were taken on my phone by me, and I was present for everything reported in this review *i wrote and stand behind every word of this review, this is my experience and no one else's

High-level summary:…read more Customer service (patience, friendliness) - 5/5 Technical knowledge - 5/5 Transparency - 5/5 Review: Given my previous experience with torn bushings at 57,000 miles and consistent premature wear-and-tear on my tires - replaced every 20,000 miles or so, partially due to my lowered car with a staggered wheel arrangement and poor alignment - over the lifetime of my 2018 Tesla Model 3 Performance, I wanted to take a preemptive approach at 125,000 miles in improving and preserving the functional performance by doing a suspension refresh. After doing extensive research on MPP suspension upgrades, I reached out to TDW Auto and sent a summary of my desired scope of work, my budget, and a request for feedback on whether I had the correct approach in addressing my concerns. From Will's first response, we had seamless back-and-forth conversations over E-mail and text to clarify the current setup of my car, highlight my major concerns, address these concerns with the proper MPP upgrades, and align on my budget, must-haves, and nice-to-haves. There was never once an upsell; only cautionary words of unnecessary upgrades for my use case, which is really just the daily work commute in a lowered setup for personal aesthetic purposes. My original request included MPP front upper control arms and rear traction arms with my Unplugged Performance lowering springs, along with swapping out the front lowering control arms and rear camber arms. However, Will explained that the FUCAs and traction arms served no improved performance for commuting, and that the existing springs were more of a budget-friendly fit that compromised on long-term performance due to its reliance on Tesla stock dampers. Instead, he recommended swapping out the springs for MPP coilovers, and replacing the toe arms in conjunction with the camber arms to improve upon long-term lowered car hardware wear-and-tear. I followed up with Will after our virtual exchanges to get his opinions in person. He took me out for a test ride with me in the passenger seat, immediately identifying that my dampers were squeaking noticeably and that hard cornering at highway speeds felt bumpier than it should. Additionally, he patiently answered all my technical questions over the hour I was there, and adjusted the quotation when I made the final decisions on the suspension refresh. Will was completely transparent about pricing: he categorized the costs by the "front" and "rear," clearly highlighting the number of hours required to replace the front control arms, coilovers, and rear camber and toe arms. Alignment was included in the coilover work as well as solid front lower control arm pressing. He was even able to slot me in his 2-3 weeks' booked schedule on short notice because I wanted to complete the suspension refresh before making a drive to Canada. I picked up my car today after leaving my car overnight, and am extremely satisfied with my decision and results. Special shoutout to Mike, who I believe is the other co-founder and technician who stayed late just to work on my car to meet my schedule!

Misleading Business -- Would Not Do Business…read more I bought two tires here and kept having a shaking issue. At first I thought it was my wheels, but I had the wheels and balance checked and everything was fine. After coming back and exchanging the tires, in which I paid $50 extra to get a better brand, the second tire had the same defect! Therefore, came back again and returned their tires and was told that they will work with the manufacturer to issue a refund. Meantime, I bought replacement tires from another shop and the shaking completely stopped, which confirmed the tires from this store were the issue. And both! Which makes me think their whole stock is DEFECTIVE. Days later, even after I returned the tires, I still haven't received my refund. They keep telling me it's "being processed," but they haven't provided any receipt, document, or proof showing that a refund was actually initiated. Whatever issue they have with their merchant or supplier should be handled on their end, not passed on to the customer after the tires have already been returned. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. Original review: I had a wheel bent issue and the owner was very patient there willing to deal with me, a lot of back and forths, definitely appreciate the patience of the workers there. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!
