Only then was I told that the repair hadn't been completed and I would need to come back the following week. I do not have the ability to return due to my travel schedule, which I clearly communicated from the start. The issue is not that the work wasn't done--it's that I was led to believe it would be. Had they been upfront about their capacity, I would have gone elsewhere to avoid being put in this stressful situation right before a long drive. Extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency and reliability. I would not return based on this experience.

5 Stars -- Great customer service, but GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING…read more I recently had my 2011 Toyota Corolla S worked on at PC Auto Body Shop. Overall, I'm giving them 5 stars because of their customer service, willingness to work with me, and effort to make sure I ultimately left satisfied. However, there are definitely some things potential customers should know. My work included front/rear bumper repair & refinish, roof prep & repaint, front grille replacement, and headlight restoration. Vitor and I negotiated the final price to $2,875 including tax and credit card fees. The repair process took longer than expected. My car was initially at the shop July 27-31, but the rear bumper couldn't be completed because some parts hadn't arrived. I picked it up so I could continue driving for Uber, then brought it back August 11. That visit also couldn't be completed, so I dropped it off again at 3 PM and picked it up August 12 at 11 AM. The first July 27-31 delay didn't bother me because that was the original timeframe. The additional August 11-12 visit was more inconvenient because I drive Uber for income, so additional time without my car meant lost earning opportunities. There were also several issues along the way. The front grille I provided fell off the same day I picked up the car, even though I had specifically reminded Vitor before pickup to make sure it was secured because the grille had a history of falling off. There was also a spot on the front bumper that hadn't been secured properly, a loose piece around the inside of the trunk, black marks on the interior sunroof shade, and some hesitation regarding rideshare transportation during the additional visits. However, this is where I give PC Auto Body Shop significant credit. All of these issues were ultimately taken care of. Vitor was willing to listen and work with me whenever I brought something to his attention. There were several times when I had to remind him of something we had previously discussed or agreed upon. Once I showed him our messages, he generally acknowledged that I was right and said he would take care of it. He repeatedly made it clear that he didn't want me to leave unhappy. When the grille fell off, Vitor immediately offered to order a replacement at no additional cost and had his mechanic manager personally handle it. He also addressed the other issues I brought up. They also did some things I genuinely appreciated that weren't necessarily required. They painted the back side of my trunk lid even though it wasn't part of the original service, and they cleaned my carpet and the outside of my tires without me asking. Those extras made me feel like they were trying to take care of the whole car. One thing potential customers should know is that my Corolla is 15 years old, and the shop used screws/fasteners in some areas of the front and rear bumpers to keep them securely attached. If you expect every repair to look exactly like the original factory installation, especially underneath or in hidden areas, you may not like this approach. I'll attach pictures to show what I mean. Personally, I'm okay with it. My priority with a 15-year-old daily driver is that the bumpers stay securely attached and look clean from normal viewing angles. For my car, I'm satisfied with the result. Someone with a newer vehicle or who is extremely particular about factory-original repair methods may feel differently. My biggest recommendation: GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. Vitor is approachable and easy to talk to, but there were several occasions where I had to remind him about previous agreements. He wasn't defensive when reminded, and he generally honored what we had agreed on, but I learned that it's much better to have every promise, price, included service, warranty, and special arrangement documented rather than relying on verbal conversations. The same applies to transportation. Because of the additional visits, I needed rideshare transportation. The shop initially hesitated to provide it, but after I explained that the additional transportation needs were caused by the repair delays and showed our written agreement, they ultimately provided the rideshare. On the final day, there was another misunderstanding with a coworker about an Uber pickup. I showed the written proof of Vitor's promise, and the issue was resolved. So, would I recommend PC Auto Body Shop? Yes. I'm giving 5 stars not because everything went perfectly--it definitely didn't--but because when problems came up, Vitor was willing to listen, negotiate, correct them, and make sure I ultimately left satisfied. For my 15-year-old Corolla, I'm happy with the final result and appreciate the effort Vitor and his team put into getting everything taken care of.

Compared to two other shops I got quotes from, John's quote was the lowest price. He also did a great job of keeping me updated throughout the repair. The final paint job was completely flawless. On a separate note, my car has a 360 degree surround view camera system, and one of the cameras is mounted on the side mirror, which needed to be removed during paint blending and reattached afterwards. This meant that German Auto Body needed to take the car to the dealership (Lexus Stevens Creek) for calibration to correctly line up the image from the reinstalled mirror camera to the whole image captured by the three other cameras. The dealership's calibrations did not correctly line up the final image (I have my doubts if they even ran the calibrations at all, as the image looked identical before and after), but they still charged for the calibrations (gave a typical BS answer that everything was "in spec"). However German Auto Body agreed that the calibrations did nothing and therefore they chose to absorb the cost of the calibrations from the dealer and did not charge me. John and tech Jose were able to work with me to mechanically (manually) adjust the side mirror to line up the 360 view image. I greatly appreciated the efforts that went into resolving this. Base on my experience, I believe that German Auto Body is an honest, customer service oriented, and skilled body shop. Would highly recommend them. This would be my go to shop if I ever needed future auto body repairs.

The car looks brand new. In addition my car was so very dirty on the inside (i transport dogs as part of my job) so dog hair was covering all floors /carpet and in between every crack and crevice. They made the entire car look brand new and got all the dirt and hair out. Usually i pay about $200 or more for my car to be washed / cleaned on the interior and exterior. Thank you so much ! Not only did Michael handle everything with my insurance, but he also offered for me to leave my rental car at their place to eliminate one less thing for me to do tonight. I have never had an auto body shop offer for me to leave my rental car there. Lastly, not only did he keep me informed throughout the process - but he went the entire mile and offered to do an additional service for me complimentary ! I had 2 plastic parts stolen off of my car a long time ago but haven't had it fixed as I kept getting quoted a very expensive number - i didn't want to fix it for $800-$1K and then have them stolen again. We took our work van to Stress Free Auto Care after finding them on Yelp. They were close to home and, more importantly, veteran-owned. As a company that supports veteran nonprofits, we were excited to support another veteran-owned business--even though their pricing was higher than other shops we considered. Our van had been having issues starting and randomly shutting off. They quickly diagnosed it and sent us an estimate for around $1,200, which we approved. We were told it would be ready by the end of the day and picked it up the following morning. The very next day, the van broke down multiple times on the freeway, nearly causing accidents. This was extremely dangerous and terrifying. We immediately contacted the shop and were told to bring it back. We had to leave the van at a jobsite and figure out how to get it back to San Jose, which created even more stress and disruption to our business. We dropped it off in the morning and heard nothing all day. The next morning, we had to follow up ourselves, only to be told they were still running diagnostics. We were then told there was now another issue that would cost even more to repair. If the original diagnosis was incorrect, I expected the shop to take some responsibility and offer a reasonable solution. Instead, the resolution offered was a "free" diagnostic--which is essentially already credited toward service anyway. There was no real effort to make things right, no empathy for the situation, and no meaningful resolution. We were basically told we could come pick up the van. Business owner to business owner: this is not how you take care of customers. When a customer spends over $1,200 based on your diagnosis and their vehicle breaks down immediately afterward, leaving them with a dangerous, non-operational work vehicle, you should be doing everything possible to make it right. This entire experience has been incredibly STRESSFUL. STRESS FREE AUTO CARE?! Yeah, right. Take your business elsewhere.

I have unfortunately gotten my car hit twice and this last time was the worst. I was stressed and again Scott and his team at Premier have helped! I cannot recommend them enough. They use factory original parts which means sometimes a longer wait but wow the results are so worth it!! My car looks brand new!! He worked with my insurance and even with the tow truck driver so it was best for me. He's very communicative and realistic about results but always over delivers. I don't know anything about cars and going into car shops sometimes feels daunting. But they are so welcoming and explain everything with patience. This place is fantastic. The technicians do a truly fantastic job and Scott has to be the most honest man I've met. I came in for an estimate on a huge dent in the side of my truck, he quotes me to replace the whole panel which was expensive as expected. He also gave me a card for another business who he said would do a paintless dent removal on it which would be cheaper. I'm amazed, he had me dead to rights for over a thousand dollars and instead hooked me up with someone else because he knew it would be better for me. read more

He originally estimated about 2 weeks (give or take). I was worried that was a long time but he explained the complex work of these repairs and offered to order the parts before I dropped off my car to help speed things up. Long story short , Michael was extremely attentive, polite, and professional with the entire process ! I was told to go here by my dad who also went here before and they did not disappoint. The car looks brand new. In addition my car was so very dirty on the inside (i transport dogs as part of my job) so dog hair was covering all floors /carpet and in between every crack and crevice. They made the entire car look brand new and got all the dirt and hair out. Usually i pay about $200 or more for my car to be washed / cleaned on the interior and exterior. Thank you so much ! Not only did Michael handle everything with my insurance, but he also offered for me to leave my rental car at their place to eliminate one less thing for me to do tonight. I have never had an auto body shop offer for me to leave my rental car there. Lastly, not only did he keep me informed throughout the process - but he went the entire mile and offered to do an additional service for me complimentary ! I had 2 plastic parts stolen off of my car a long time ago but haven't had it fixed as I kept getting quoted a very expensive number - i didn't want to fix it for $800-$1K and then have them stolen again. Had they been upfront about their capacity, I would have gone elsewhere to avoid being put in this stressful situation right before a long drive. Extremely disappointed with the lack of transparency and reliability. I would not return based on this experience.

They got the car back in 4 days, actually right on schedule. The service manager (Miguel) was friendly and helpful. The bumper looks like new again. They probably could have done a better job detailing the car afterwards but it wasn't bad. Really I'm just glad to get out of the horrible rental car before the weekend. Value? I think the price was normal. Insurance paid for it so it wasn't really an issue.

5 Stars -- Great customer service, but GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING…read more I recently had my 2011 Toyota Corolla S worked on at PC Auto Body Shop. Overall, I'm giving them 5 stars because of their customer service, willingness to work with me, and effort to make sure I ultimately left satisfied. However, there are definitely some things potential customers should know. My work included front/rear bumper repair & refinish, roof prep & repaint, front grille replacement, and headlight restoration. Vitor and I negotiated the final price to $2,875 including tax and credit card fees. The repair process took longer than expected. My car was initially at the shop July 27-31, but the rear bumper couldn't be completed because some parts hadn't arrived. I picked it up so I could continue driving for Uber, then brought it back August 11. That visit also couldn't be completed, so I dropped it off again at 3 PM and picked it up August 12 at 11 AM. The first July 27-31 delay didn't bother me because that was the original timeframe. The additional August 11-12 visit was more inconvenient because I drive Uber for income, so additional time without my car meant lost earning opportunities. There were also several issues along the way. The front grille I provided fell off the same day I picked up the car, even though I had specifically reminded Vitor before pickup to make sure it was secured because the grille had a history of falling off. There was also a spot on the front bumper that hadn't been secured properly, a loose piece around the inside of the trunk, black marks on the interior sunroof shade, and some hesitation regarding rideshare transportation during the additional visits. However, this is where I give PC Auto Body Shop significant credit. All of these issues were ultimately taken care of. Vitor was willing to listen and work with me whenever I brought something to his attention. There were several times when I had to remind him of something we had previously discussed or agreed upon. Once I showed him our messages, he generally acknowledged that I was right and said he would take care of it. He repeatedly made it clear that he didn't want me to leave unhappy. When the grille fell off, Vitor immediately offered to order a replacement at no additional cost and had his mechanic manager personally handle it. He also addressed the other issues I brought up. They also did some things I genuinely appreciated that weren't necessarily required. They painted the back side of my trunk lid even though it wasn't part of the original service, and they cleaned my carpet and the outside of my tires without me asking. Those extras made me feel like they were trying to take care of the whole car. One thing potential customers should know is that my Corolla is 15 years old, and the shop used screws/fasteners in some areas of the front and rear bumpers to keep them securely attached. If you expect every repair to look exactly like the original factory installation, especially underneath or in hidden areas, you may not like this approach. I'll attach pictures to show what I mean. Personally, I'm okay with it. My priority with a 15-year-old daily driver is that the bumpers stay securely attached and look clean from normal viewing angles. For my car, I'm satisfied with the result. Someone with a newer vehicle or who is extremely particular about factory-original repair methods may feel differently. My biggest recommendation: GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. Vitor is approachable and easy to talk to, but there were several occasions where I had to remind him about previous agreements. He wasn't defensive when reminded, and he generally honored what we had agreed on, but I learned that it's much better to have every promise, price, included service, warranty, and special arrangement documented rather than relying on verbal conversations. The same applies to transportation. Because of the additional visits, I needed rideshare transportation. The shop initially hesitated to provide it, but after I explained that the additional transportation needs were caused by the repair delays and showed our written agreement, they ultimately provided the rideshare. On the final day, there was another misunderstanding with a coworker about an Uber pickup. I showed the written proof of Vitor's promise, and the issue was resolved. So, would I recommend PC Auto Body Shop? Yes. I'm giving 5 stars not because everything went perfectly--it definitely didn't--but because when problems came up, Vitor was willing to listen, negotiate, correct them, and make sure I ultimately left satisfied. For my 15-year-old Corolla, I'm happy with the final result and appreciate the effort Vitor and his team put into getting everything taken care of.

As a woman, I really value places where I feel respected and not taken advantage of -- unfortunately, that's not always the case everywhere.
