This school is very unique and classy. The playground areas are much bigger and expansive than before and more areas for the children to play and get their daily exercise and fresh air. The parking lot is all re-designed with much more parking space and area for teachers and visitors coming to the school. Overall, this facility is very sophisticated and classy and just what the community deserves.

Given that most people never know what all the issues are that someone else is dealing with, that is about as presumptuous as someone could possibly be. Whoever Sharon is should be embarrassed to have submitted that review. Here is what my 5 star rating is based on and why so many parents try to get waivers to get their kids into Lookout Mountain. If I have done one thing right in my life, it was choosing to move to Moon Valley in 1992 so my kids had the opportunity to attend Lookout Mountain!! Both of my children went to this school for K through 6th grade. Their experience was phenomenal. My wife was a former teacher who stayed home with our kids. Her experience with the teachers, the admin staff, the cross walk guards, the janitors, the volunteers and everyone associated with this school was great. Their classes, the dedication of the teachers and support staff for after school events and community functions were all great. My kids have tremendous memories and experiences all through their years at LM. I was very fortunate to get to be involved with the school in many ways and with my kids' fellow students through coaching them and seeing them daily around the community. These great kids are a reflection of their fantastic involved parents, their tremendous teachers and the people who work and volunteer at Lookout Mountain. This school is the cornerstone of the Moon Valley community and not because they have a very nice new building. It's the people that leave that building every day that make it what it is. Many of those people are volunteers who support this school like very few others. The community pride here permeates everything. I still live in the neighborhood and both of my kids have graduated from college. This school set the stage for them to get into very prestigious high schools and the universities of their choice with substantial scholarships. They both graduated at the top of their classes and are pursuing their dreams professionally. This school was the base for everything they have accomplished. I am hopeful my grand kids have an opportunity to go to Lookout Mountain. Many of our neighbors' kids go to Lookout Mountain and by all accounts its as good as it ever was. We are truly lucky to have this school in Moon Valley and I guess if I have to wait 10 minutes so one of the volunteers can get the information they might need, I will do it with a huge smile on my face.

We love it!!!! The teachers and staff are extremely caring, professional, hardworking and focused on children's development and growth. The curriculum is amazing and the communication is consistent (weekly postings with video and photos, lots of emails with information from the campus director, regular parent teacher conferences). The classrooms are beautifully organized, with monthly themes, and a lot of variety in activities every day. Lots of arts and crafts based on the monthly theme. Lots of celebrations where the children and teachers sing songs and wear fun costumes (valentine's day, mother's day, father's day, winter festival, etc). The outdoor area is a dream, with an outdoor kitchen, a garden, swings, play structure, and lots of fun places to explore. The campus director, Nieves, is warm and kind. The school founder and director is really inspiring, uses best practices in child development, and isfocused on kids. In short, the best daycare and preschool my family has ever had (and we have been to 5 other different places in Scottsdale over the last 9 years with 2 children). There is little turnover at this preschool, the teachers are all experienced, professional, and with extensive education and training. Every teacher knows my child's name and greets him with enthusiasm every day. And, growth in Spanish has been really miraculous--our child is nearly fully bilingual. Its great that the teachers come from across Latin America so that kids hear a variety of vocabulary and accents. Each year, there are kids with a range of Spanish abilities so it's not too early or too late to enroll.

And he loves them in turn - the smiles and excitement when he sees his teacher at drop off is obvious. I know fellow parents understand this feeling of being reassured that you're entrusting your little-heart-outside-your-body kiddo, at a place where he is safe, protected, loved, and thriving. TODAY - I am contacted with an explanation that "I honestly thought you were probably a good person but I felt a dislike towards me right away. That energy was truly difficult for me to deal with." His "concerned" response concluded with this: "PS. I once had a doctor do surgery on my knee. I really disliked him (really this guy was a jerk) but I knew he was an expert..... My knee works great again. :)" Since 12/23/2014 (again five months after my initial review) - the Owner has contacted me several times via personal email 3-4 and 1x telephone (actually left a message) - surreptitiously attempting to convince me to edit/delete or otherwise alter my review. I find the Owner's contact inappropriate and borderline harassing. I rejected his offers of a refund as that is not the intent of my review - rather to advise others of my experience. The Owner provided a service- and was compensated for his service. My opinion is this Owner does not take kindly to those with opposing/differing views. Unprofessional and inappropriate boundaries.

I took the real estate broker pre-licensing classes here in 2014 and the salesperson pre-licensing…read moreclasses in 2010. Both times were great experiences for me. I get to see some of the same instructors this most recent time there as before which was nice. It shows good stability to have people stay for so long. The schedule for the salesperson classes are flexible while the brokers class schedules are more set. This is ok for me as the brokers class was smaller than when I got my sales license so the fixed schedule allowed me to complete them in only three weeks and also get to know some other professionals who are becoming brokers. The classes are informative and of high quality while also being entertaining and easy to sit through. Some of the topics are a bit dry (by nature) so the instructors do a lot to make it easy to get through. This helps a lot with memory as well. I feel that both times I went the classes prepared me very well for the tests. The instructors were also knowledgeable about the process of getting your license after taking the tests. I recommend picking the instructor's brains whenever possible as they are highly knowledgeable about the industry and will share a lot of their experiences and insight.

But I completed the classes, passed the school test. And struggled with PearsonVue State Exam taking it many times. Finally decided to look into another set of classes, to help me understand what I was not getting. I found a Groupon for a different school. I was hesitant... But I purchased the Groupon anyway. (which was half off) Let me tell you! Best decision ever!! This instructor was on point, engaging, good sense of humor, so many helpful hints and tricks to remember details. He is, hands down the best and knows how to teach his students. Marty Baum is the only teacher at this school. One teacher, one teaching method. I'll tell you what. I attended his classes, and today I took the State Exam and PASSED! And not scare you, but this test is difficult. It is the hardest test I have ever taken. But I finally did it. So if you're looking into Real Estate classes you have to check out Baum School of Real Estate at the The Forum, on Warner and Alma School in front of Walmart and next to the car wash. Don't waste you're money on two different schools like I did. Do your research, do it right the first time. Good luck to you all!!
