Such a BEAUTIFUL place to play golf. So well maintained…read more Greens definitely have some undulations, but are quick, and roll well. Fairways are lush and wide enough to be fair. Balls off line will be lost in the woods in a lot of cases, but there are generous landing areas. Great place. Worst part of the day was the bar wasn't open when we finished at 11:15 so no after golf cocktails lol. Get out and play it.... you won't be sorry.

They put styrofoam in the flag holes and if the last guy didnt put them in properly..you might miss out your hole in one. The course manager was quite friendly.

We all met in an acting class in Bloomington, IL and formed an acting troop known as The Dead Barbers. We specialize in reenactments of moments that happened a few minutes ago. Our round of golf went really very well. We know how busy it can be on a Saturday and totally understood that carts were in short supply. There were clear tiers in the power rankings of our group of 7 Dead Barbers' golfing performance. Tier one was Red 2 Snakes. Tier two was White 7 Squirrel. Tier three was Blue 4 Bruiser. Tier four was Green 3 Fox, Black 5 Hawk, and Pink 1 Puma. And finally tier 5 was Gray 6 Sheriff who didn't participate due to LLLL. The staff was very helpful and in a great mood especially in the pro shop. Some highlights of our 9 holes included a Packers training camp filibuster, a return of the Lost Ball Boys, sad songs on the playlist, and a X 9 or nothing last hole where a Pink 1 Puma golf ball got scooped up by a black hole. The Bloody Mary was delicious, made spicy and garnished with a seasoned pickle, and the bartender was kind and friendly.

It is a nine hole course that can be played back to back for 18. No major water hazards, but the woods will keep anybody, but a straight driver, searching. One of my favorite features, however is the clubhouse. Yes there is a pro shop and you can get some basic refreshments but what you MUST do after your game is sit in one of the many rocking chairs that bedeck the wrap around porch, marvel at the decades of markings in the old wooden floor from years of spikes trodding on them and enjoy the spectacular view of plum lake!

He also said we disrespected the course for driving on the grass (then make cart paths-there wasn't through paths in a lot of areas) He argued over us getting a refund for the back nine so we could just leave instead of finishing out and he gave us $25 out of our $85 dollar fee. The only person that helped us out to get the refund was showing John the warden how to work the computer to do a refund too. I hope you never go to this course if it is the only course with open tee times

It is a very unique experience and all of the staff do a great job of making the place feel like home. I would like to give a special shout out to one of the front desk ladies named Leslie. Every time we go, she is always there and she's awesome. She is one of the main reasons the resort runs so smoothly. She knows what she's doing and she's always very helpful and on top of things. Overall the resort is very clean and a great place to vacation to.

It's a hill, it's snowy, slushy, icey I get it's a mountain I get it but somehow it's gotta be easier to lug that shit up! It's dog friendly (great) no where to really take them to use the bathroom though u have to walk through snow, salt ( bad for their paws) or up the mountain and get hit by skiers or get tired hiking up lol. Maybe make a designated area idk. Rooms are fine generally speaking they tried to give upgrades to hide age fine but maybe put effort in? U can tell they wanted to spend the least amount of money and hired unqualified people. The entire floor everywhere throughout the house was covered in some kind of dust particle it made all my socks dirty but if u don't wear socks your feet get dirty and grimy and I don't wanna wear shoes I only brought boots my feet get hot. I know it's hotel style but the mountain haus has HOUSE in the name it has a full kitchen provide more pans pots etc. no garbage bags either just th one shitty thin one. You need to provide more for the shitty reservations u did but the prices don't reflect the age/ work. The dishwasher wasn't emptied upon arrival and many dishes left dirty also makes a lot of noises so does the heating units the beds also definitely aren't fully clean they leave some sheets out of the wash. OMG dead bugs by all the heaters too didn't get a picture bc I was livid and cleaned them up right away. This place sucks don't waste your money unless you're fine with dirty accommodations. Workers were also just mingling while I'm clearly standing at your desk needing help. Did not like my experience here at all.
