As an attorney who used MAS for years and paid fees in a timely manner, my recent experience was unsatisfactory. On 3/10/26, I sent tax docs (similar to 2024 tax return). Starting 3/23/26, I followed up multiple times with staff confirmation but no tax return. Finally on 4/1/26, MAS sent the tax return & requested immediate payment. Do not recommend. I have gone to Mustafa for a couple years for personal and business taxes. I had hired him to submit a final tax return and dissolve a business. A year and a half later I received a letter from NYS with penalties because they never received my return (that I paid Mustafa to prepare). I brought the letter into the office and Mustafa said he'd check on it and get back to me, I never heard anything back. I decided to speak with another CPA in the mean time and pay to re-prepare the tax return. I then called the IRS who also never received my return or any letters / information to dissolve my business. I have paid $1,000 in fines to date because of this. When I called / emailed Mustafa's office they were not receptive and then Mustafa suddenly had COVID when I called to demand answers and copies of the submittal. I received paper documents to send in a week later because he clearly never sent anything in with no apology or refund. read more

Extremely intelligent, competent, thorough and responsive. I moved to Miami from NYC and had a relatively complicated situation due to carryback NOLs from a Manhattan lounge / club. I contacted ~10 accountants and also worked with a local accountant in Miami. About 8/10 of the accountants made mistakes and I didn't have confidence in their work. Very prompt in returning calls and emails and was able to schedule me in two days before tax day and moreover on a weekend. 30-40mins tops and he was able to take care of all my tax stuff and I had several w2/1099 income sources to put in.
