My bestie was in town visiting and we had been walking around Patterson Park. We noticed this spot across the street and decided to pop in for a drink and a bite to eat. There is bar seating on the inside as well as table seating with a back room that has even more dining space. They had a good variety of food available to order. My bf ordered a grilled cheese and bestie ordered a Reuben. Our server was friendly and attentive to us as well as taking care of her patrons at the bar. Food came after a short wait while we were enjoying our beers. They don't have a huge selection on the craft side of beers, but enough variety that most everyone can find something they like. The vibe was chill and it seemed like a fun spot to hang out. I'd definitely return to Sharky's to try more food or just relax with a drink! read more

Sharkey's is across the street from Patterson Park where I play bocce once a week. Surprisingly, Sharkey's isn't our sponsor bar (I'd like to request that tho), so I've never been before. However I insisted on going after my last game. Sharkey's is a typical dive with basic drink and bar food selections. I'm super into low cal "skinny" drinks if you will, and Sharkey's had my favorite, High Noon. Ordering was easy and before I know it, I was sitting outside sipping on my drink. Not much to my visit, but between decent customer service and proximity, I will definitely return. read more

Sat outside since I had my dog with me, thankfully I had a friend too since we waited a few minutes before a Sever but none came. After a few minutes my friend went to inside where she was told orders are only done insured which is confusing since they do have outdoor seating. It was also a Thursday evening so not sure if this is different for other days of the week. We ordered only a blue moon each. We drank the beers pretty fast which wasn't the intention but we couldn't stand sitting outside any longer to indoor any more mosquito bites! It was unbearable. Food is so-so, beer is cheap. Service also 2 stars at best, very much a local's bar so the regulars were the priority. I get it- that is the perk of being a regular. But ignoring your other customers is unprofessional and speaks volumes. Canton has lots of great bars so no worries, will be a welcomed local elsewhere. read more

I have come to Sharky's many times to have a pitcher of beer with my kickball teammates before and after our games. If I had not eaten here I would have probably given the place 2 stars. It is a DIVE.... dive! HOWEVER, I went there the other night and against my better judgement (I do judge books by their covers) I ordered dinner. The bartender was a super sweet woman, she informed me that everything is made from scratch and made to order.... What? ... Even the ranch dressing and blue cheese dressing was made in house!!!!!! WINNER! I got the cheesesteak and it was amazing! Super soft and fresh bread and just enough meat and cheese. It was "Fiesta Night" (Monday night) when we were there and we shied away from it because they used corn tortillas and not flour, however they looked delicious and very gourmet for this kind of bar. I kinda wish I tried them now. Moral of the story, don't judge this place by it's appearance, or the clip-art font in the menu... they serve up great food and I cannot wait to come back! If this place received a renovation and was less shabby, it would definitely get 5 stars! read more

Horrible service!!! I get it when the bar is busy and it takes a while, but when people come in after me and get served before me is definitely an issue. I enjoyed the ambiance bit hated the service. I waited a half an hour after receiving a food menu before the bar tender asked me if I wanted anything and again that is after people came in later than me and had there orders placed. Come check out this place on a Monday. You can sit in the side dining room or stay in the bar area. Don't expect anything fancy, but the Mexican fiesta Monday has $2.40 chicken and steak tacos on two corn tortillas with two homemade salsas on the side. These are delicious. Also, get the baked nachos!!!! You can't go wrong with the Mexican. Keep in mind it's bar food, but it's great bar food!!! read more

Love this bar! Just moved into the neighborhood and checked out this bar with a friend, and have been back a bunch of times since. They clearly have a crowd of regulars, but they treat everyone the same unlike some corner bars. After the first time in, every time we come in the bartender already knows what we are drinking. We work in the industry so this is our go to bar for after work drinks. The only reason it's not 5 stars is because I haven't gotten to try the food yet, but if it's as good as everyone says, then it will definitely get the last star. They have a huge menu for being a bar and I can't wait to try the food. Definitely recommend this bar if you're in the neighborhood! read more

Went here with my team after a broomball game in the park. Hadn't been in the while. Had my dinner with me that I'd been carrying for 2 hours and hadn't yet eaten due to meetings and the game. Thought I'd be polite, so I asked an employee if I could eat if I ordered drinks, referred me to the owner. He goes "hell no, I own this place." So, whatever, that's understandable. So I put my food up with everyone's stuff while they card all of us (we're all over 30 and they made a bit of a show out of it). 3 minutes later, the owner starts staring at me and shouts across the bar "go out that food in your car if you want to stay!" I told him I wouldn't touch it, he insisted, so one less night out drinking for me, I left. Low class owner with no respect for customers. I encourage you to support someplace that shows more respect to tired, hungry Baltimore folk just looking for a beer with friends. read more

Sharky's is a neighborhood bar in every sense of the word, but that shouldn't at all be a turn off. Their menu is pretty extensive for a bar and had always been delicious. They're hot wings, in my opinion, are the best around. I even rank them above Kislings. I'd also highly recommend the crab soup. Their beers are always cold and come with cheap options for penny savers (Natty Boh Can!). Service is always extra friendly as well and costumers are quickly welcomed and feel right at home. read more

Sharky's is a fun place to get a few beers and enjoy the juke-box tunes with a few friends. They also have outside seating, which is great during the spring and summer. Not sure what the last poster was thinking, but their wings are Dinky! The size of them are really small and I wasn't impressed as a wing fan. read more

After driving past Sharky's and hearing about it for years finally stopped in with my sports team last night to celebrate after a game. Menu looked promising with the food being the typical bar selection. Unfortunately service was extremely slow. I ordered a burger with mushrooms at an additional cost. The amount of mushrooms received was laughable, only being a few small slices. We were also charged for 6 cups of water. The amount was small (under $2) but being charged for a pitcher of water was a turn off. When leaving the bartender in a extremely sarcastic tone thanked us for coming. Nonetheless my team will not be making a return trip. read more

Ignorant and rude staff. Staff supported homophobic/ignorant comments by "locals" and tried to kick us out when nothing happened. Bar manager even agreed that what happening was wrong. Bar tender took our beer away that we paid for and tipped over 25% and attempted to call the police. Very disappointed due to living right down the street. read more

One of the friendliest bars in Baltimore. Super nice staff (they didn't want us to leave because we were "hilarious") and super friendly customers. The food is good. This was literally the worst service I've ever had in my entire life. We literally just walked into the bar and immediately got dirty looks from the bar tender who I identified based on my receipt as Mandy. We ordered three shots and she takes the order and goes "who's paying for these things before I make them" in the most rude tone you could imagine. Then my friend hands her his card and she takes it and plugs our costumer name into the computer as "assholes". She gives us the shots goes to the end of the bar and legit is making fun of us to her friends and we can CLEARLY hear he. My friends and I were like ok let's get out of here and as we walked out we got called "cry babies". I have never been greeted with such a egregious disrespect in my entire life. I would not only never go to this bar again but I would never recommend anyone that I know to attend this bar no matter the circumstances. Absolutely disgusting. read more

I had a horrible experience here. The bartender put 6 drinks on our tab that we did not order, making our $16 tab go up to $45. When i pointed out the mistake the bartender proceed to yell at me that she doesn't lie. when tried to explain further that she must be mistaken because we simply did not order what she claimed we did. She refused to remove the charge. So i just paid it because my conversation was going nowhere. However, i did not leave a tip. On the receipt i wrote an explanation as to why. The bartender then slammed her hand on the table and proceeded to scream at me. She told me never to come back. She threw her body across the bar and thre her fist in the air at me.
