We were traveling with our grandma who cannot do stairs. After calling around to multiple miniature golf places we found Mutiny Bay which offers two courses, one of them with no stairs! Having come on a weekday, the place was empty which was a nice surprise. We didn't want to feel rushed or have people waiting behind us to finish up. The course is in good shape and has some fun holes. Each hole is a par 2- so nothing super complicated. The website online has a $1 off coupon - so make sure to utilize that! read more

Fun pirate themed golf course. There's a $1 coupon online you can download before going. There were 18 holes in all and each had a historical fact about a real pirate! Simple decor all around, the pirate show is an audio that runs every 30 minutes and includes cannon sounds and water works by the pirate ship in the lagoon. We went on a very slow day we were the only ones on that course for an hour. Workers were friendly and you get a coupon at the end for their other sister locations! read more

My family of 25 came here for some fun at the beach. We had a blast. The employees in candy shop and golf area could've been friendlier but the girls in ice cream shop made up for it. The golf course was fun and challenging. We will be back next summer. read more

We had a good time here. They offer two courses - we did the one that runs a water explosion/pirate audio every half hour, but there is one where every couple holes offers a challenge for the putt like standing on one leg. We thought the course itself was pretty basic and simple, but the theming and trip around the property was still fun. We paid $40+ to play and my 5-year old was in tears by the first hole because of the pirate show, ominous music, and random simulated gunfire on the course. The management refused to offer a refund. This is probably a good course for older kids, but don't expect any compassion or common customer service if you have sensitive kids or anyone with sensory sensitivitis. They're obviously looking to take advantage of tourists rather than build any repeat business. read more

These courses are clean but very easy. Every hole on both 18-hole courses are only a par 2. The pirate show wouldn't scare a fly. Its not really even a show, more just water cannons. I would say this course is good for younger kids. My 10+ year old kids were bored. read more

I've been eyeing this place as long as I can remember and finally stopped. It was worth it. Very nice course with sound effects, visually appealing, and beautiful plant life. The courses were equally challenging and opportunities for pros to show off. We weren't fans of the spinning wheel. We only used it twice. We were the only people putting at the time and get got both courses for under $10 each person. Helpful and laid back staff member working on the first weekend of November. There's plenty of putting clubs for all ages and most heights. You can win a prize after returning to your ball. read more

This place is fun! The sound effects of the pirates throughout the course are well done as you'll hear voices and explosions coming from different areas. Both courses are good plays. The courses are fun with traditional elements. The gimmick with the variants at every other hole is fun to mix it up, but you can just play traditional rules of course too. Some of the variant options will only work with a foursome and we were playing just the two of us. But putting with your eyes closed or with the putter behind your back was a fun twist. They sell a deck of cards in the shop so you can take the variant game with you to other courses and we recommend that. The ball return game of chance was funny too. When you finish you take your ball back to the clubhouse and put it in a machine. Sometimes you can win a prize! read more

So many of the Myrtle Beach putt putt places look dated, but this place is clean, well groomed, and modern. It does NOT look like it is 11 years old at all. All of the holes are par 2. They are short and pretty easy, so this is a great place to bring the kids. Good elevation changes which keep it interesting for the adults. Lots of good photo opportunities here too. This is a nice place to spend a couple hours. I recommend it. Our hotel had coupons for $1.50 off per person if you arrive between 9 AM and 6 PM. read more

It was great fun to putt with your hand, use the wrong end of the club, putt with your eyes closed, etc. we laughed and had a great time. LOVED this! After a while, every miniature golf place starts to seem the same, but Mutiny Bay definitely added a twist and stood out to me. The spinner that adds different elements to the traditional miniature golf really made the experience. You can also buy the spinner to use at any miniature golf, which I have strongly considered. Our family of 5 adults enjoyed ourselves! We played both courses (a total of 36 holes). While there were several other groups we felt like we weren't rushed and could enjoy the fun scenery and sounds around us. The pirate show every 30 minutes was also a fun touch and as lovers of Disney, we felt at home. Most notable, however, was the cleanliness of this location! We have been to several mini golf places and this is by far the cleanest we have ever been to. The courses are clean and the landscape is well-tended. We will definitely return here! read more

I've been coming here for years. Two 18-hole, par 2 courses. The scenery and show is great for families with children. The courses are about average for difficulty and design, and in good condition. There's a Bonefish Grill right across the street, so I recommend going out for dinner and then walking across the (side street - low traffic) street for an evening game of mini-golf. read more

There were two different courses: 1st course was cool and had a pirate show every 30 minutes 2nd course was good as well, there were different fun things with each hole. Another fun twist was turning your ball in at the end of the course. You had a chance to win different prizes. The only reason this course was not a 5....some of the holes were dark (poor lighting). The worker inside (long hair male) was super nice and helpful and even more friendly. He started our experience with happy faces and was knowledge on the course we were at and the surrounding ownership ones. But now to the fun stuff..the course. Mutiny Bay offers 2 pirate- themed putt putt courses, complete with simulated cannon fire and pirate jargon. On the recommendation of Yelp reviewers, we played the Barbados course with our 3 kids, ages 6-11. We had a GREAT time. There is a spinner on about every-other hole, which adds a fun twist to how you play. The holes were easy enough that our youngest wasn't frustrated, and the design kept even our older kids happy. An average mini golf experience. The greens are in good condition and the course is well kept. We did the "more challenging" Barbados course, but only 3 out of 18 holes offered any obstacles of interest. Expect a lot of straightaways, simple turns and the occasional rock. Don't be fooled by the impressive pirate ship out front. There is very little trace of the pirate theme incorporated into the design of the holes on the Barbados course. Also if you happen to be in the wrong part of the course, you miss the "pirate show" entirely. I'd imagine it's a decent experience for a family with youngsters, but those interested in the golf itself should look elsewhere. read more

Wow what a pirate adventure! We met Evie and Teisha upon entering the course and they were so fun to talk with and so animated about the experience we were about to have. We purchased an All Day Pass for just $15.00 each for the four of us and we started on Barbados with the spinners, I actually got a hole in one with my eyes closed! The flowers were absolutely beautiful and it felt like we were in a pirate's paradise. Then there was Port Royal, we LOVED the battle between the pirate ship and the fort... It was so real like we were Surrounded by pirates and the canon explosions and fireballs were so REAL. My husband was the only one to get a hole in one on this course, but that was ok. We settled up afterwards with some ice cold beers... My boys enjoyed the Dippin dots and my daughter enjoyed the chocolate covered frozen banana. Thank you for such a great time! The Barbados course is the way to go and you must play the mischief spinners, it adds a fun twist for both adults and kids. Landscape is well-maintained, course is moderately challenging and staff is very friendly. Many waterfalls throughout but this is not the type of place with flashing lights/moving statues/eye candy on every hole. Overall, a solid mini golf experience. read more

perhaps the best mini golf course i have ever been to. highlights: - they had wheel of fortune type spinners on every other hole of the mutiny bay course. if you spun wrong you might get...take the next shot with your eyes closed. if you spun a good spin you might get...if you get a hole in one you get a 0. - they piped great buccaneer music through the whole course. - first 18 holes $9.00 (look for coupons). the second 18 were only an extra $2. - the course was well maintained. all the turf was new. - great landscaping. - at every hole a sign taught you pirate terms and facts about famous pirates. we might have to go back again before the leave the beach! read more

My fav put put place in the Myrtle Beach area. The pirate ship is awesome and they integrate the theme into the course pretty well - there's even a hole on the ship itself! Every 30 minutes or so, there's a "pirate attack" with various sound effects as well. Fun mini golf place. Courses were to easy we chose to go to the left course. Course was clean. Lots of frogs. Music was hard to here because I'd static. The music was Hawaiian not pirate themed. Three and a half stars rounded up. The place was really nice. It was kept up very well. The greens had no problems. As we are both adults with no children we found the first 10-11 holes on the first course to be somewhat easy and predictable. Maybe the second course is better. If you go get the $11 ticket as you can play both courses, versus $9 for one course. It has a cool pirate theme that many children would probably enjoy and there aren't a lot of steps/walking. There's also a quick show every thirty minutes that kids might enjoy. It wasn't very crowded either probably because it is almost at the very north of North Myrtle Beach. Worth a visit. read more

It was fine. Guy working the counter very nice and helpful. Course in good shape. I'm just not a fan of courses that are more about acrobatics than putting. Many of the holes seemed to favor lefties as the best initial position was impossible to stand because of bushes. Bumpers are too short in places... My wife was almost got by a flying ball.
