I drive passed this place so many times so finally had to check them out a few weeks ago with my puppy and she loved their stuff! Not only that wen we came in we were warmly greeted. Usually when I come into other pet stores I don't get greeted but this is a smaller chain so they are much more personable with their customers. What I liked was each section was so organized I could find what I needed for my puppy or ask for suggestions from their workers about what to buy her. Plus if you sign up with their store for like a pet perks, they give you 10% off your first purchase. I ended up getting my puppy a pumpkin ring which she loved since she's teething and some teething bones that were all natural with no-rawhide. She loved both items I purchased. The prices here may be steep but your pet will definitely love them.

Hilliard mutts & co f*cked up my dog's grooming today, but Mark (the owner) called me earlier. He was very gracious and worked with the Dublin location to make things right. The Dublin staff was VERY accommodating, pleasant, and helpful. The groomer did a fantastic job in the limited time she had...THANK YOU!!!

    Self wash station

Stopped in at Mutts & Co. this evening to give our husky bear a quick wash. This place is fantastic! Awesome self wash stations & they supply all of the necessary tools. The employees are so sweet and helpful. We will absolutely be coming back here in the future!

We brought our Coton for a grooming and told them please leave him long, just trim and clean him…read moreup. We figured a "luxury" dog spa with a three hour appointment would do a good and gentle job. When we picked him up his backside had been shaved almost to the skin. This area is now extremely irritated and on the verge of bleeding. The dog is rubbing and licking himself incessantly. We called and explained we were very unhappy. The groomer told us that there was nothing she could or would do, that she "had to" shave him because she said he was matted. He had just been brushed the night before and was not matted, but even if so, there was no reason to shave him to the skin and cause this level of irritation. Either take the time to de-mat (the appointment was three hours long) or inform the client that you could not. We did not authorize her to shave him like this. In the dogs 10 years of life, this has never happened once. When I asked why she would not refund the money, she said that well her regular clients know that sometimes the dog will come home with "an itchy butt." From her response, I have a feeling this is not the first time she has been confronted about this. She also suggested we call the vet and that if things got worse we might have to take him to the vet. We did call the vet and even with the Benadryl and Cortisone, he is still miserable. Here is a picture of the area. Needless to say I would not recommend this place to anyone unless you want to deal with a total unprofessional person who will not take responsibility for a terrible job. Feel free to make up your own opinion. Update 1: Second picture is third day post-grooming, the area is now getting worse and starting to scab. Unfortunately the vet is not open tomorrow to go get antibiotics. We spoke with one of our old groomers who said likely this was due to a dull or hot clipper and that in any case the groomer should not only provide a full refund but also pay for the vet visit. As described above, the groomer is taking ZERO responsibility, not refunding a single cent. Feel free to Youtube "clipper burn" to see what happens to a dog after this happens. Its not fun and the dog is miserable, aggressive, irritable, and requires constant monitoring so as to scoot on the floor to further inflame.

We've had our cat Tiffany for 5 years now and after 2 or 3 years she started blowing out her coat…read moreand developing mats in the Fall/Winter (she's a Siberian). We tried to brush her out everyday, but we couldn't keep up with the mats! Tiffany is also sensitive to brushing/combing. The groomer, Emily, did an excellent job removing Tiffany's mats and even suggested having her preemptively shaved, so it's less of an issue in the future (and also cheaper). She recommended giving our cat gabapentin 2-3 hours beforehand to calm her nerves as well. We got some from our vet, Cats Only, down the street. Tiffany is a nervous cat, but Designer Paws did an amazing job of keeping her calm and she was in and out in around 30-40 minutes. They gave her the classic lion cut, which works great for her coat color. I'd highly recommend Designer Paws Salon in Upper Arlington. Their staff is friendly and helpful and their groomers are talented and caring.

Emily spaced out the sessions while working on Rooney, which I really appreciated. Hand-stripping is time-consuming and can be tough on a dog if done all at once. We were very pleased to receive a call about a cancellation -- that was a thoughtful touch. I loved the finished coat, and we will definitely be bringing Rooney back. Well done, Emily! Jim Jackson
