I received a call the day after Christmas, that my dog was howling in pain and couldn't get up. I…read moreasked if they could get him to a vet and they said no, I had to pick him up. When arrived they wanted to use ropes to lift him with due to so badly soiled. So we supplied our own blanket and carried him to car. He was in obvious pain, soiled, bleeding from mouth. He was immediately taken to animal hospital and advised had to be put down for fractured back and kidney issues. When asked for an explanation Randa immediately sent a refund saying upon my request, which was just for explanation. When followed up was told I can't sue because I signed a waiver, that it was my fault for boarding an older dog and not boarded before. I never made any accusations or asked for anything but an explanation. I'm so devastated I left my pet/family member in their care.

Animals are Sarah's passion. She was caring and conscientious from the first time she came over to meet our 'kids' (Bacon, George, and Qui) pics below! She asked about feeding, walking, sleeping, and overall quirks of our dogs. We rescue older dogs and they come with some special needs but mostly just spoiling. The lady we spoke to was very nice to us, as well as when we arrived (both her and the other gentleman working there). The front-desk is a bit small and crowded with supplies (I think from the supply donations they receive), but we were allowed to take the pup out in the large gated yard to run around and play and get to know her a bit more. The application process was fairly straight forward. They hand-write out the paperwork so it took a little bit longer, and they only accepted cash (we had to run to our local bank during the application). They do have a 7-day return policy (if the pet doesn't work out you can return them, or exchange for another, but no refunds) from what I understood. They also gave a health voucher for one of the local vets, but we did not use it and went to our regular vet. I saw other reviews claiming the pets weren't as healthy as they said, but at least for us, when we took the pup to our Vet, she was 100% clear and healthy (including all worms and such, which is sometimes overlooked in the exams). All of her shots / spay / flea treatment dates etc. were recorded and provided to us, plus microchip info, so it was thorough. They also gave us the rest of the kibble they were feeding her, which actually lasted us about 2 months. Overall, we thought they were friendly and also showed they cared for the animals that they adopt out. I don't think they have tons of dogs and cats, but they are worth considering if you are looking to adopt!

Mary is an excellent communicator and I'm always able to get a hold of her. The dogs are happy to see her and get into their own routine when she arrives. She's watched them for over a week's length of time and as short as just a quick stop over if we are out too long for the day. I seriously trust her more than my own grandmother.
