I've never kenneled any of my pets until I found this place. LK9 is my Go-to place for my dog Harry and he's a difficult dog to train and Kennel but this place makes me feel very comfortable leaving him here because they've proven time and again to be a safe place where Harry gets a lot of individual attention and training. When I'm in Europe or wherever, I get report cards and videos of how Harry is doing and it puts me very much at ease. Matt one of their trainers is the best but all the other staff here are very nice and really make an effort to take care of your pets as they would their own. Lakeshore K-9 works hard to improve their unique service. This weekend, we left our dog on Saturday and the hours were convenient for drop-off and pick up. They are an organized group who maintain current situations with the dog owners. For instance, yesterday, we received an email regarding two dogs with a a respiratory illness and then went on to explain the precautions and safeguards they are undertaking. just got off the phone with this place and was talked to by somone who was not only extremely rude and condescending but short? bad costumer service for sure.... just says to me that I would not leave any of my dogs there with a person who talks to people like that ever let alone pay them to be treated this way? I would be seriously concerned if they would treat my dog the way I was just treated God forbid my 6 month old puppy didn't do as it was told? I felt I was talked to by my mother for doing something bad, when in fact I am sure I'm old enough to be this persons mother. ZERO COSTOMER SERVICE! I have used them before a while back and thought it was a good experience not sure who this person is but I won't be bacK there are to many other good places to go to. huge change of heart today! Great people who care and love for all dogs. Worry free when we leave our dog, Lucy for the day. She came to us at the start of Covid and had some socializing issues with certain dogs. April went over and beyond to make sure she slowly introduced Lucy to dogs that were a good fit, and in time (with the staff's expertise) introduced her to more a more friends to play with. They answered every question and have been incredibly helpful with safely socializing her while she continued to have a blast! She gets super excited when we're blocks away from dropping her off, and after a great day of play with her friends comes home content and tired. We'd also highly recommend their training classes, and (although we haven't needed it yet) I wouldn't hesitate to leave her with their great staff while we're away. I have taken my dog to Lakeshore K9 for about 3 months now. My dog kept it simple with just a weekly daycare to let some energy out, after a few months we completed the 2 week board and training program with Matt... Words can't even describe how pleased we are with the service. With my dog being like my only child, I was very nervous and skeptical leaving him especially with bad experiences from other facilities. Matt truly showed that he loved our dog for the two weeks there, he was so patient, polite, detailed, kind and the list can go on. He made sure we left with all of the answers to making this a success in the home with our dog. He opened an entire new line of communication for us with our pet which has completely led to a better life. Happy dog happy life! We're able to walk without pulling, eat without him begging and understand his needs clear as day. We still regularly use the daycare because they actually play and keep the dogs active and comfortable. When he comes home he's completely wiped out and loving every minute of it! This I can honestly say this was the best decision I have ever made with my dog! To add to that Cooper was a 3 year old rescue, and Matt was STILL able to work his magic to make sure he is a happy dog who loves to follow the rules!
