After sending the owner Pat pictures of our family room, Pat suggested mounting over the fire place. We scheduled an appointment for installation and they came on time as promised. Once on the the job site, Pat determined that from our family room couch layout, he would prefer to have the TV mounted on a common wall for best viewing. I contacted Pat regarding an issue I had with a previous intillation with RTI. Pat not only returned my text within an hour but he did it on the weekend. When I talked to him on the phone he told me he was booked for the day but would try to fit me in. Pat could not fit me into the schedule but said he was willing to come out first thing sunday morning (next day) on his day off. He showed up on time, was professional and knowlegable about a product he didn't install (most companies won't entertain fixing other companies installs). Pat was able to fix the issue in less than 1/2 hour. Not only did he charge me next to nothing on his day off, but gave me great advice about a future intall I am looking at. MVP performed work at my house a couple months ago. After reading the reviews I decided to go with MVP to install two surround speakers in the ceiling, mount a 70" TV on the wall, program a smart remote, and fix the mess of wires behind the receiver. The MVP team responded very quickly, installed everything perfectly, cleaned-up before leaving, and had very reasonable prices. Through the process they informed me that my old sub-woofer was faulty. They promptly replace it with a quality Polk Audio sub-woofer for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend MVP and wish I could give them more than five stars. The special on the website said $199 each for two TV's. Since my mom's house and mine are three houses down, I thought he might honor that. He said he would honor it over the phone. Then I told him I wanted the upgraded mount. He said, it would be $260 then. I told him I could get my own equipment but he really wanted me to use his, so he could warranty his work. I told I had a sound bar to hang on the wall. He asked if it was going on a shelf or the wall, I told him specifically it was to be mounted on the wall. He said that would be fine. I told it was too pricey for us and we agreed to $225/per TV with the upgraded mount and sound bar. My mom did not have a sound bar but he said he would hook everything up for when she got one. He got to my house, and said it was $300 for my TV and $225 for my mom's. Unfortunately, I was not there, my husband was. So, my husband texts me immediately and tells me. Within a matter of minutes I called the owner back. At that point he said he was already halfway done (another lie--took him about another hour). He did not recall telling me that price included the sound bar. He CLAIMED I said the sound bar was going on the shelf. When in reality, he asked me on the phone if it was going on a shelf and I said NO, we want it mounted to the wall. He continued to deny saying that and said he couldn't argue anymore. He finished the job, which looks decent so that is why i gave him two stars. However, he lies and is a snake. He conned me out of $100! I am not a person who does not pay, and I stand by my word, so I paid the $300, but you are damn straight I am going to tell the world how you scammed me. Honestly, he was totally unprofessional too. He shouldn't quote over the phone if he is not a man of his word. I think that is his ploy though, to get you hooked. To top it all off, he gave me the swivel mount--the cheaper mount! SO, even IF he was gonna charge me $75 extra to hang a soundbar, he still stole the $25 from me. Hence why we did not let him do my mom's. He quoted me $225 for that too, but I am sure it was going to cost more. It was a waste of time to find out. This is really disappointing as I love supporting local businesses in our town, but I will never recommend this company to anyone, regardless of the work completed. I'm usually leery about unknown and non-referred people coming to my home to do any work. That said, we purchased a 55" LG flat screen TV from Costco that was on sale at a price that I couldn't refuse. We had a big screen already (rear projection) but it was about ten years old and starting to make some strange noises. I searched on line for someone near to our location in Fallbrook but the closest was a Temecula area company. The website encouraged a picture of the wall area for the install and text that to their number. I had a return call within ten minutes from the owner, Pat Cronin, who gave me a very reasonable price right then! Still a bit gun shy of unknowns I dithered a bit but agreed to an install date two days hence. Three techs showed up, including Pat, the owner of the business. They certainly knew what they were doing! Within about an hour and a half that TV was exactly where I wanted it and Pat set it all up, explaining what he just did and talked me through the entire process. I didn't need no stinking manuals! The entire cost for everything, installation, very sturdy and articulate wall mount, HDMI cables, all included in the price of $225 - a major bargain! I would have these fellows back in a New York minute and will have them install a Blue-Ray DVD player and stereo receiver in the near future. Recently, an acquaintance installed our home entertainment center and to our dismay the TV mount was affixed onto a wooden platform on the wall and there were wires visibly protruding from behind the TV and wall. Pat came over and professionally remounted the TV and sound bar the way we envisioned the entertainment center to look with the wiring obscured from view.
