I found Nick on Next Door site with many impeccable reviews after Lexus quoted me $800 to changeout a brake light on SC430. I called and Nick said probably $20. In my mind, I was prepared that once there, I was going to be paying at least $100. I was there 20 minutes and Nick did NOT charge me anything, OMG, he said the bulb only cost $1. There truly is a good Auto Shop in town and not because he didn't charge me but their motto ' I'll remember to return'....you bet I will Nick along with sharing with everyone. Mike, the technician who did the battery swap on my Benz, did an excellent job--professional, thorough, and friendly. When my truck was finished, Ray (the owner) even offered to fix my bumper for free, which was an incredibly generous gesture and much appreciated. It was a pleasure meeting Lisa and Ray's wife, Vanya, too. $90/ diagnostic fee!! A lot of shops are $150. That itself is a deal! If you get the work done, the $90 goes towards it. I had installed the n2itive parts already when I brought it in. Even though they weren't busy, he still took great care and had the alignment done in under 30 minutes--about 45 minutes total including a test drive. The car now drives perfectly straight, with both camber and toe dialed in just right. Also I got paper work before and after alignment. It did not cost me a lot like the other shops that wanted close to $300. I paid $180 for the alignment!( thank you Yoshi ) The shop is very professional, and the service was fast and smooth. The mechanics were polite and easy to talk to. I also loved seeing all the JDM cars they had--R32s, R33s, and even an '86 and MR2. It felt like stepping back into the 1990s. He said he could try welding it but if that didn't work, then he would have to order the part. The part was extremely expensive and the quote was over $2000. If he couldn't fix it, he recommended a muffler shop across the street. Before I could think about calling ahead, Yoshi informed me that he had managed to weld it back into place! And he only charged me $82. I was in and out within the hour. I had been coming to Samurai Motors for about 2 years, just getting oil changes, but this will now be my go-to for anything related to my Toyota. The other people in the lobby even boasted about Yoshi's honesty and integrity. There's not many honest mechanics out there. I can't recommend Yoshi and his team enough.
