Stacy and Bruce are truly Genuine and stand by their word and the pricing is very reasonable for actual QUALITY work! I've had my brakes done, which I had lifetime warranty pads on and shops usually won't honor them. Stacy went above and beyond and got my lifetime pads! Don't expect this lol! Alek was amazing!!! He was honest and fixed my car for 1/4 the price the dealer was charging.

I went to this place for over 12 years. Last week, my AC went out in my car and they quoted me $2700 to replace my condenser. I picked up my car and just to make sure I called the dealer, gave them what ASK said it needed, they quoted me $1200. and would give me a loaner. I drove over that night left my car. The next morning they called and said the expansion valve needed to be replaced. They would have it done in 2 days and it would be less than $1100. Never again. Lost my biz. read more

Took my car on for a battery replacement and to get a coolant leak fixed. Mechanic wanted to return the vehicle without looking at the leak. For several weeks I reached out asking for timelines and estimated cost but it was very difficult to get a response. After about 3 weeks I I went to pick up my car. The price I was quoted the day before was not what I was eventually charged. Not only is there still a coolant leak but my driver side window no longer works. (I do want to say that the owner was nice I was just not pleased with the service and the fact that I lost a lot of time and money and still have to find a mechanic to do the job) read more

I was referred to Ask Auto Repair by an amazing friend of mine and unfortunately it was a horrible experience. Went in for an A/C repair and they had my suv for almost a week before being able to say what was wrong. After the first time they fixed it the A/C went out again. This time we took it back and they had it for 3 days. They stated that a part they installed was faulty. Ok it happens. Once again the A/C goes out. This is now the 3rd time. I contacted the owner, Stacy, and asked for a refund as I was just going to take it elsewhere. He offered to repair it again under their Napa warranty but would refund me $300. I scheduled for a time that most convenient for him (mind you their shop if 45 minutes from me) and he said he'd have it done that day. We dropped it off early in the morning and never received a call. I followed up in the afternoon and he said it would be ready mid morning. I asked for a time frame and no response. The next morning I reached out and was told it was done. He said the problem was a hole in the A/C condenser yet they didn't see it the last 2 times they had my car. We went to pick up my car and the $300 I was promised. He then stayed since he fixed it he doesn't owe me anything and he was only offering $300 if I took it elsewhere. He continued to express that his workload is large and not his fault it took longer. He also expressed that he lost a tech that had worked on it before. I totally understand that things happen but the lack of communication and the fact that he offered a small refund and then backed off from it after making us come back 3 times is just wrong. I originally brought my car to have the front end looked at because I had a vibration and I also had a crunching noise. The car went in the shop at 9 o'clock on Monday morning around noon they called and told me that it needed among a few other things struts on the front. So I said go ahead and do it. They did other work as well on the air conditioning the cabin filter so on and so forth and it came to about $2500, that was the original quote. They did the work. Car was there all day Monday all day Tuesday and when I asked about having it on Wednesday he said he didn't think he could have it for me on Wednesday because it still needed to be aligned and the shop that he used, couldn't guarantee they could get it in that day????Well I picked up the car and had the car aligned myself. So when I went in to pay the bill I asked did you take off the alignment of the original quote and also did you have to do something he was supposed to do and if he didn't have to do it was going to be less and he said no I didn't have to do it I said so why is the bill still $2,500? So he started to go over the bill and lo and behold there was a $600 error on the bill and the bill was only $1,900. Had I not questioned that bill I would have been overcharged by $600 then when I questioned Stacy the owner about it he said well I don't know it comes out of the computer. Well we all know someone has to put it into the computer. When I get in the car and drive it it is still crunching and it's still rattling so now I had to go back again to him one more day he ended up telling me that it was the motor mounts. Well I just have the motor mounts redone in December of 2019 so obviously I wanted to take back to those people. So after my car being in his shop for a total of three days and me paying him almost $2,000 the original problem still was not taken care of. So now I take the car back to Brake Masters who did the motor mounts and they say there's nothing wrong with the motor mounts but you need new struts! I said I just put new struts on there how can that be? He said well these struts look to have about fifty or sixty thousand miles on them and the crunching noise is because you have a bent wheel and it is hitting the strut and if these struts had just been installed a few weeks ago you would not have the indentation on the struts that you have. Now I go back to Ask Auto Repair and Stacy and tell him and he immediately says to me do you have a zelle account I'll send you some money. I didn't ask why I didn't ask how much, I just assumed he realized that he more than likely had done the wrong thing, that's my opinion. Otherwise, why would he offer me money immediately. I thought he realized he had done something wrong and that he was going to make it right. Over a week passed and I contacted him again. Now all of a sudden he's going back on his word he wants me to bring the car in so that he and the Napa dealer can discuss what's going on with the struts. He has had my car a total of 3 days he is not going to have it one more day. I told him the only thing that was going to make me happy was the fact that he refund every single penny that I spent on those struts so that I could take it somewhere else and have it done. I even showed him a quote from a mechanic that said the car needs new struts and how much it's going to cost to do it. The way he answered me was well what are you going to give me in return? I said I don't owe you anything and he said well how about not posting a bad review and I told him I'm going to post a review. It is going to be honest, unfortunately that is bad. Now if you want to use this mechanic it is totally up to you. But I know no one I know will ever go there. I'm a 70 year old woman to have someone take advantage of the elderly like this is a shame. read more

So pleased to find this little car repair shop. I ran into a parking block with my low front end, and it pulled the entire front bumper off and broke my splash guard. Had 2 previous estimates that told me I needed almost $1000 worth of repairs, when in actuality, the existing bumper is salvageable. Stacy is a "realist" and won't sell you what you don't need. He took the time to cobble my bumper back onto my car for me, while we wait on the right parts to come in. He was personable, funny, and able to look at my car on very short notice. I will definitely be back, first to get the more permanent fix done, and then for any future automotive repair work too. (I have since been back for routine oil changes, brake work, starter replacement, AC fix: he can do it all. His new shop in the new location is great.) read more

I have gone to Stacy for years for my car repairs, he is honest and fairly priced and will tell you either get the repairs or get rid of the car. My boyfriend has a 2006 Hummer and has had nothing but problems since he bought it, he kept using his own mechanic and putting thousands of dollars into it and it kept breaking down daily. When I had called to request a quote, I spoke with Stacy. He was very patient with me when I tried to explain to him what was wrong with my vehicle, from what I was told by the dealership. Despite the whole pandemic going on, he was absolutely booked. I wasn't in a hurry to get my car fixed since I'm temporarily working from home but he managed to fit me in the next day. He was just as friendly in person and even showed me the parts that he was using for my vehicle. I didn't really care much because I don't know much about the parts anyway, Lol but at least he took the time to explain what he was going to do. To my surprise, my car was fixed much quicker than I expected and the price was much lower then what the dealership had quoted me for. He replaced my cv boots and front and rear brakes. I still have a million other things that needs to be worked on but I didn't want to be selfish and have them spend a whole day on just my car. I highly recommend Ask Auto Repair!
