Large food truck plaza, definitely not enough parking for the amount of trucks and people here. However, my few times stopping by, I've never had to wait more than 5 mins for a parking. So I'm grateful, can't complain. My baby loves her spaghetti and churro every time we come. It's her go too spots! Unless she wants something salty instead of sweet, then we'll swap the churro for a pretzel. Staff is always friendly at all the trucks I've stopped at. Oh man !! I been wanting to stop at these food trucks for a while now . I have family near the area and passing by on the freeway seeing all the food trucks is insane how many there is ! I definitely got excited glad I finally got the chance to check it out . Parking was busy but there was a young man guiding you to where you could park. Luckily I found parking pretty quickly. There's a lot of cars coming and going. We went specifically to get some Salvadoran food we got some pupusas my son also wanted some tacos from a Mexican truck . I mean, they have it all they have any food you could think of here. I have also tried the lumpia from the Filipino truck. I have to say I loved all the food. I tried so far here. I mean, it could be a little bit on the pricier side cause it's food truck prices. Overall the food was great lots of options to choose from. I've passed this truck several times with just not enough hunger to load up on potato. Today I got the baked potato with al pastor and lawd! The potato was perfectly baked and generously loaded with toppings full of flavor. It was about a 15min wait for a re-up on the pastor pastor, but they let me know before finalizing my order. It's conveniently right off of the I-5, tucked down with lots of parking, and down the street from the coolest Power Mart that has a spaceship on the roof and alien decor inside. DORADITOS 5/5* El Mexicano foodtruck Now these are how crunchy tacos should be made! You get 3 tacos to a plate with rice and salad, including avocado. You also get to choose your meat, which I always get the birria and asada. The tortilla is puffy, but crispy and the inside is oozing in gooey melted cheese. Everything I have picked up was made to order and NEVER just sitting under the heat lamp! The only issue with this location is some heavy days, parking. You have to wait to get parking if the mid afternoon. The heat during summer days can roast. If you catch a breeze, that helps. Sit next to a truck on a windy day also helps knock the wind down. We stopped by here finally last Sunday the 25th. This place is loaded with food trucks, countless of them. They've got a wide variety of trucks to choose from. Numerous that have Mexican food, 1 Italian, 2 Filipino, a pretzel truck, churro truck, hot chicken truck, wings truck, rolled ice cream truck, some I'm probably leaving out. It's right off the freeway, and easy to find. One thing I wish was different and probably affects their business is how scarce the parking is. There's people that drive in there, can't find parking, then leave and just eat somewhere else. It has to affect their bottom line in some capacity. SCENE: The Lathrop Food Plaza is located in the town of Lathrop on Harlan Frontage Road. The main access road to get there from I-5 is E. Louise Avenue. Parking can be challenge if you visit during peek times and there is NO street parking on Harlan Road. There are a few side streets a few blocks away where you can find street parking but, you will have to walk. The plaza host many and different food trucks. Everything from hamburgers to deserts. You're sure to find something you like eat, I promise. The plaza also has several covered picnic tables to dine at and they also have two unisex restrooms. Food truck paradise! My bf suggested trying out this place since they have so many options and we are often at odds about what to get when we eat out. He was right about choices as they have a ton. Pretty much something for everyone-pizza, pasta, burgers, hot dogs, tacos, noodles and desserts! I also like that they have tables but the big winner for me was real bathrooms and not port-a-potties! Lathrop Food Plaza is every food truck lovers dream! It's conveniently located right off the 5 and is easily seen off of the freeway and easily accessible. They are open 7 days a week usually from 12pm-8pm although some food trucks may open earlier than 12pm. On the weekdays there are quite a few food trucks available but not as many as on the weekends. I would say that there are anywhere from 12-15 food trucks available on the weekends and the place is usually packed. They have so many different varieties of food to offer that you many end up trying 2-3 food trucks lol. There's hibachi, barbecue, cupcakes, mexican food, italian food, hot chicken, soul food, seafood and much more. I usually come here maybe once or twice a month to go my favorite Italian food truck Padella Italiana Di Mario, they are amazing! All of the pastas are fresh and made to order and most definitely can rival those upscale Italian restaurants. I also really like The Hot Tender Station, they are the food truck version of Nash and Tender. They have some of the best Nashville hot chicken and it's also fresh and made to order. There are so many other trucks that I want to try like Chase The Smell, The Churro Spot, Krepe Dog and Antojitos Sinaloa. I suggest trying to come here around 12pm or 1pm before it gets really crowded and the parking lot is quite small and limited. If you already know what food trucks you will be trying ahead of time some of them are listed on DoorDash, Uber Eats or also may take phone orders. It's best to plan ahead if you can. I love this place and highly recommend stopping here if you're in the Central Valley or even make it a mini road trip to check them out. read more

06/02/25- I've been planning a stop by here everytime we go to Great Wolf to see what foods they have to offer. I keep on forgetting but this time, I have to give it a try. Parking is free but a bit small. We just got lucky that a car left and we park there. We walked around first to see what types of food they have and what each wanted. From the left end there was a hibachi style food truck that pics look good but pricey. Got a chance to try Rock n Roll- rolled ice cream where you can get rolled ice cream with up to 3 toppings; unlimited drizzle and 23 flavors to choose from. $10 a cup. It was okay but very slow service. There's more to the other side. Chinese, italian, Filipino (very far end), fruit drinks, pretzels, hot chicken and churros. On the center of the food trucks are tables where you can dine in. There's also 2 restrooms (looks dark inside). Plenty of trash cans which is a plus. All in all, not too bad. Service are mixed- some folks are friendly and nice. Some are not that great. Might be back but perhaps long from now. read more

I like visiting this particular plaza just because it has so much variety of food trucks to choose from different food styles to partake in. Whether it's Mexican/Indian/American/Chinese the variety is there. You can get your lunch or dinner and then back it up with your dessert. There's tables spread throughout that you can sit down and enjoy your meal. There is parking on site but there is a chance that you will have to drive around a few times to catch a parking spot as there are limited spaces. We drive by this location many of times, and it's always packed no matter what time of the day it is, I even like how they are open in the evening also, which is a huge convenience for a lot of people to still be able to catch a meal. It would be nice to see something like this in most cities. Also, an area that you might run to somebody that you haven't seen in a while Catching a bite to eat. read more

So neat. I saw this last time we were driving on the freeway but didn't stop This time we were hungry so we hit the place. It is easy to see from HWY 5 going Northbound so nice location. It is a large lot with food trucks on both sides of a check cashing place. When we arrived I did see a security guard by the checking place but he was gone when we left. So I am not sure he is there for the food plaza or not. The plaza has a large variety of food trucks. Maybe almost 20 but I didn't count. Some of them were not open when we were walking around. Maybe 5 of them. They had Japanese, lots of Mexican. a churro place, waffle, 2 Italian trucks and much more. I got 3 street tacos loaded from Las Nuevas Perlas and they were amazing. Loved them . They only had mild and hot . The mild was a little spicey but I am a whimp when it comes to spice. So yummy. While I was devouring my tacos. There was a couple at our table having so kind of fruit drink so I ask how it was. They had both mango and pineapple and I love pineapple. I was right across from Antojitos Sinaloa so my wife got me a pineapple and mango. The pineapple was so Refreshing after eating the taco. I loved it. Just fresh squeezed fruit. We got churros from the Churro Spot which was hella busy. They gave us a pager so we could go get more food. It took over 25 minutes for the 3 . One stuffed with chocolate, 1 vanilla and a caramel. They were great but kind of expensive. $4.50 a pop. Most of the trucks were geared towards Mexican food but so is the area . I would definitely stop by again if in the area yummy. read more

Stopped by here for lunch on a Sunday a few weeks ago. We came 1 hr. early and most of the food trucks were not ready yet. They open at 12pm. Most of the food trucks that we saw are mainly Mexican food. There is also Indian food, Italian, Dessert, Churros. I didn't see the Filipino food truck.
